Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of service quality, price, and customer satisfaction on repurchase intention in the mining sector. With rising competition, mining companies face the challenge of customer retention through enhanced service quality, competitive pricing, and customer satisfaction. Using a quantitative approach, surveys were distributed to customers from various mining companies, and multiple regression analysis was used to evaluate the relationships between these variables. The results show that service quality and price significantly impact customer satisfaction, positively influencing repurchase intention. Furthermore, customer satisfaction acts as a mediating variable, strengthening the relationship between service quality, price, and repurchase intention. These findings offer practical insights for mining companies in formulating strategies focused on service quality and pricing to increase customer loyalty.

Abstract

Weapons system acquisition is a strategic element in building a resilient and integrated national defense posture. This process faces significant challenges, such as limited coordination between the Ministry of Defense, the TNI Headquarters, and the Armed Forces Headquarters, budget constraints, and geopolitical influences that often hinder its effectiveness. This study explores a strategic approach based on inter-service coordination, technological innovation, and sustainability to create an adaptive and responsive defense posture to threats. Using a qualitative approach, the study analyzes data from academic literature and case studies of defense acquisition practices. This study integrates a SWOT analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of each option in the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). AHP, although widely used, faces criticism regarding the subjectivity in setting criteria and sub-criteria. A SWOT analysis helps balance these potential subjective biases through a comprehensive data-based evaluation, thereby optimizing the decision-making process. The findings show that the integration of advanced surveillance technologies, such as long-range radars, multi-role drones, and satellite systems, significantly enhances operational effectiveness.

Abstract

This research explores the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the human role in the military using a qualitative descriptive method. AI is increasingly automating tasks, enabling humans to focus on strategic and ethical decision-making. However, this shift necessitates adaptations in training, doctrine, and organizational structures. The research analyses the ethical challenges, including accountability and the prevention of unethical use, and highlights the critical importance of cybersecurity in mitigating risks. Key findings suggest that AI will significantly enhance operational efficiency while presenting new challenges related to human oversight, ethical considerations, and the need for robust cybersecurity measures. The study concludes with recommendations for developing training curricula, establishing ethical standards, and investing in cybersecurity to ensure the responsible and effective integration of AI in the military domain.

Abstract

Terrorism is globally recognized as a serious threat to the security and stability of a country. In the context of Indonesia, terrorism is defined as an actual threat, namely a threat that is currently developing and will continue in the next few years. Based on the history of the development of terrorism in Indonesia, extreme Muslim groups are often found as perpetrators of terrorism in Indonesia. Some of them are affiliated with international terrorism networks such as Al-Qaeda and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). This group believes that it is permissible to kill anyone who disagrees with their views. This group is known as Khawarij. The special characteristic of the Khawarij group is that they adhere to the Takfiri ideology, namely declaring those who do not follow the beliefs or practices of the religion they adhere to as infidels. In its development, the Khawarij ideology became the ideological root of extremist movements among Muslims. The relationship between the Khawarij ideology and current acts of terrorism lies in the excessive understanding of Islam, as well as the justification of violence against other groups under the pretext of religion. Khawarij ideology also believes that a leadership (government) that does not implement Islamic laws is an infidel government that must be fought. These radical doctrines have led to the emergence of new extremist movements such as Al-Qaeda and ISIS. Therefore, one strategy in preventing acts of terrorism is to conduct Early Detection of the understanding of Khawarij ideology as part of the Early Warning System.
