Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of endocrine learning methods in the Fiqh curriculum in class III of MI Muhammadiyah Bamban Giriwoyo and to examine the effectiveness of the method in improving students' understanding and abilities in the Fiqh subject. The Fiqh curriculum in class III of MI Muhammadiyah Bamban Giriwoyo and to examine the effectiveness of the method in improving students' understanding and abilities in the subject of qualitative approach with a case study design based on descriptive-analytical theory. The purpose of this method is to find out in detail the application of the conservation method in the fiqh education program at MI Muhammadiyah Bamban Giriwoyo. Data collection techniques with three stages. First, participatory observation which includes direct observation of the learning process, documentation of freezing activities and systematic field recording. Second, in-depth interviews include semi-structured interviews, focusing on teacher experience and student perceptions and friangulation of information sources. Third, documentation. Resonance-based learning at MI Muhammadiyah Bamban Giriwoyo in the fiqh subject is considered capable and very effective for learning. The research sample included Islamic religious education teachers and students of class III of MI Muhammadiyah Bamban Giriwoyo. The results of the study showed that implementing learning using the condensation method was very effective in improving student understanding.

Abstract

To enhance students' literacy and numeracy skills, SDN 1 Ngancar implemented the "Taman Dolanan Literasi dan Numerasi". This program comprises a Literacy Garden ("Lumbung Basa") and a Numeracy Playground. The aim of the "Taman Dolanan Literasi dan Numerasi" is to provide an innovative approach to improving children's basic literacy and numeracy skills at SDN 1 Ngancar. The "Lumbung Basa" Literacy Garden emphasizes the use of the Javanese language in students' daily lives, while the Numeracy Playground is an educational tool based on traditional games combined with fun literacy and numeracy activities. A qualitative approach was used to assess the program's effectiveness. This approach was chosen to determine the effectiveness of the "Taman Dolanan Literasi dan Numerasi" in improving students' literacy and numeracy skills through traditional games, encompassing planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.  Research results indicate an improvement in children's reading, writing, and numeracy skills after participating in the "Taman Dolanan Literasi dan Numerasi" program. Children demonstrated increased learning motivation, critical thinking skills, and collaborative skills through various traditional games such as congklak, engklek, and dakon. The implementation of this playground also successfully created an interactive and contextual learning environment, enabling children to understand basic literacy and numeracy concepts more meaningfully.  It not only supports cognitive development but also provides learning experiences relevant to local culture.

Abstract

This study was prompted by the low level of student interest in learning English at SMKS Pancasila 3 Baturetno. The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of utilizing the SimDif application as an interactive, website-based learning medium on enhancing students’ motivation and participation in English learning. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, with the independent variable being the use of the SimDif application and the dependent variables comprising students’ learning interest and participation. Data were collected through classroom observations and the administration of questionnaires before and after the intervention. The data were analyzed descriptively using percentage analysis to determine changes in students’ motivation and participation levels. The findings indicate a positive shift in both variables following the implementation of SimDif as a learning tool. The results show a significant improvement in students' motivation to learn. The class average score increased by 20%, and the active participation of students in discussions and online tasks increased by 30%. Students also found it easier to understand concepts due to the visual display and interactive quiz features. The use of SimDif not only creates a more enjoyable learning experience but also builds students' digital skills, in line with the demands of the 4.0 industrial era. The integration of technology in learning has proven to enrich the teaching and learning process, enhance student engagement, and support independent learning. Regular evaluation and further development are recommended so that this application can be consistently applied across various subjects for broader benefits.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Grade VI Bahasa Indonesia teaching module at SDN Polokarto 01 within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum, focusing on its alignment with pedagogical principles such as differentiated learning, culturally responsive teaching (CRT), and Understanding by Design (UbD). A library research method was employed to analyze the module’s structure, content, and assessment instruments. The findings reveal that the module meets basic systematic requirements, including learning objectives, essential materials, and interactive activities aligned with students’ cognitive development. However, three critical weaknesses were identified: (1) the absence of diagnostic assessments to map individual student needs, contradicting the principles of differentiated learning; (2) questions and contextual materials lacking relevance to students’ local environment, neglecting CRT’s emphasis on cultural connections; and (3) misalignment of summative assessments with learning objectives, particularly in developing creative writing skills, which deviates from UbD’s backward design principles. The study recommends integrating diagnostic assessments, contextualizing materials using local examples (e.g., incorporating the case of Alas Karet Polokarto), and aligning assessments with learning objectives through holistic rubrics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' ability to read the Quran. The sorogan method is a teaching method in which students are emphasized to be more active in facing the teacher one by one in turns by reading a book or scripture that has been determined. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques used observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study showed that students' ability to read the Quran increased significantly. Of the 16 6th grade students: (a) 6 students (37.5%) who were initially not fluent became quite fluent in 4 months of implementing the method. (b) 8 students (50%) experienced improvements in the aspects of tajwid and makhraj. (c) 2 students (12.5%) were able to read with tartil and became references for their friends.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy refers to the knowledge and skills needed to understand texts and to use a variety of numbers and symbols to solve practical problems in various real-life contexts. In fact, the numeracy literacy skills of students at SDN 4 Giriwoyo remain low. To address this issue, teachers have implemented the Means Ends Analysis (MEA) learning model. This study aims to describe the preparation, implementation, and obstacles encountered by teachers in implementing the MEA model in mathematics learning as an effort to improve students' numeracy literacy skills in SD Negeri 4 Giriwoyo, Wonogiri. Using a qualitative approach, the study began with data collection through interviews and observations involving the principal, classroom teacher, and sixth-grade students. The collected data were then analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the preparation for the MEA learning model included the development of teaching modules, instructional materials, learning media, and assessment instruments. The implementation of the MEA model was carried out in three stages: introduction, main activities, and closing. Several challenges faced by teachers in implementing the MEA learning model were: 1) Difficulty in creating problem-solving questions; 2) Difficulty in designing problems that are easily understood by students; 3) Students experienced difficulties in solving the problems; 4) Students perceived the learning model as less enjoyable due to the complexity of the tasks; 5) Students with low math proficiency tended to be passive; 6) Creating mathematical problem-solving questions required careful thought; and 7) Students struggled to express mathematical problems clearly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership model implemented by the principal of MI Nurul Islam Wonogiri, the strategies implemented by the principal of MI Nurul Islam Wonogiri, and the results achieved from the leadership model of the principal of MI Nurul Islam Wonogiri. The type of research used was field research. The research method was descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study were: 1). The leadership model of the principal of MI Nurul Islam Wonogiri in realizing an excellent and Islamic school has a very important role because the principal serves as a manager, leader, supervisor, educator, administrator, innovator, motivator and determinant when making decisions or policies in the madrasah. 2). The strategy implemented by the principal of the madrasah towards realizing an excellent and Islamic school at MI Nurul Islam Wonogiri is by analyzing the needs of the madrasah community, creating a vision and mission, determining the goals and objectives of the madrasah, compiling programs, implementing programs that have been prepared and evaluating. 3). The results achieved from the model are: most of the graduates can continue to junior high schools, both public and private, can compete in competitions at both regional and national levels. Meanwhile, other achievements are that the quality and professionalism of teachers will increase, teachers will be more orderly in administration, more trained and creative in educating their students.

Abstract

In the modern era, where foreign languages increasingly dominate, regional languages such as Javanese are becoming marginalized. However, local languages are essential as markers of identity and vehicles for transmitting cultural values. This study aims to evaluate the program's impact on students' Javanese language skills and the internalization of politeness and communication ethics as part of character education aligned with the Pancasila student profile.This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. The variables examined include students' ability to use the Javanese language and their understanding of traditional etiquette. The data focused on students in grades IV to VI, teachers, and parents at SD Negeri 3 Bulukerto. Data were collected through participatory observation, questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). Thematic analysis was used to interpret the collected data and identify emerging patterns.The findings indicate that the Prasaja Sejati program significantly improved students’ use of krama Javanese in daily interactions both at school and at home. Thematic analysis revealed enhanced student awareness of politeness norms inherent in Javanese culture and increased collaboration between the school, parents, and the community. These results demonstrate that the program impacts not only students’ linguistic abilities but also their cultural and character development. The program is recommended as a culturally grounded educational model that can be adopted by other schools to promote local identity amid increasing globalization and digitalization.

Abstract

In an effort to achieve equitable access to education, the government has established the New Student Admission System (SPMB) policy. However, the policy still faces a number of challenges, such as manipulation of domicile data to bypass the zoning system, disparities in the number and quality of learning groups, inequalities in school quality, and the public’s limited understanding of the available admission pathways. This paper aims to contribute to the improvement of the SPMB system for the 2025/2026 academic year, with a particular focus on its implementation in Wonogiri Regency. The method employed is a descriptive policy analysis using a qualitative approach, supported by data triangulation and stakeholder participation.Findings from previous SPMB implementation in Wonogiri indicate that high-performing schools tend to be oversubscribed, while schools in peripheral areas suffer from low enrollment. This condition highlights the need for adjustments to the zoning system that go beyond geographic distance to include factors such as school capacity, facilities, and the socio-economic context of the community. This article presents a critical review of the 2025 SPMB implementation, focusing on: 1) zoning adjustments based on population distribution maps and school capacity; 2) the use of a digital system with geo-tagging for domicile data verification; and 3) strengthening affirmative action and scholarships for students from underprivileged families.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the challenges faced in fiqh learning for 2nd-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Arroudhoh Pancasila Sakti and explore the solutions implemented by teachers to address these challenges. The research questions are: What are the main constraints in fiqh learning for 2nd-grade students, and how do teachers overcome these challenges? The research employed a qualitative approach, collecting data through direct observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and document studies. The research sample included fiqh teachers and 2nd-grade students at MI Arroudhoh Pancasila Sakti. The findings reveal that the primary challenges in fiqh learning include varying student comprehension levels, limited learning media, and difficulties in introducing abstract fiqh concepts to young children. The solutions implemented by teachers include using varied teaching methods, utilizing visual and audiovisual media, and applying individual approaches in guiding students. This research provides significant contributions to developing effective and engaging fiqh teaching strategies for elementary school students and offers valuable insights for educators in addressing fiqh learning challenges at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level.
