Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out how effective the use of stencil print media is in developing children's fine motor skills at Mekar Bunga Kindergarten, Padang. This type of research is a quantitative research with quasi-experimental methods. Data collection techniques in the form of tests, observations, and documentation. The population in this study were all students of Mekar Bunga Kindergarten, Padang, totaling 43 children. While the sample consisted of 20 children, 10 children in class B1 and 10 children in class B2. Data analysis used is hypothesis testing, T test, and effect size test. The results of the study showed that there was an effectiveness of using stencil print media on the development of children's fine motor skills with an initial score (pre-test) of 21.80 and a final score (post-test) of 26.80. Then from the calculation of the hypothesis test shows a significant level of 0.001. The results of the study using the effect size test obtained a value of 1.60 which is included in the strong category. Thus stencil print media with plastic cup media is effective in developing children's fine motor skills at Mekar Bunga Padang Kindergarten.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the underdeveloped character of caring for the environment in children. This is caused by the low initial understanding of children towards environmental care behaviors that they usually do routinely. The main objective of the study was to determine the effect of the use of animated video media on environmental care characters in Kindergartens. The research method used was a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The place of this research is Kartika 1-63 Kindergarten, Padang City. The sample consisted of 20 children consisting of the 5-6 year age group, namely the experimental class B1 and the control class B2. The data collection tool uses a rating scale. Then the data was analyzed using the T test (Independent Sample T-test) but beforehand it had gone through the normality prerequisite test, homogeneity to know how much influence the animated video media had on the character of caring for the environment in Kindergarten. The final results of this study showed a significance (2-tailed) of 0.016 <0.05 with an average N-Gain of 51.17% for the experimental class and 33.40% for the control class, so that the environmental care character of children treated with media animated videos are higher than the environmental care characters for children who use conventional media. As for the magnitude of the influence of animated video media based on the effect size test, it was obtained 1.4 (strong category). The conclusion obtained is that the animated video media has a very large and significant influence on the character of caring for the environment in kindergarten

Abstract

One of the most important aspects of child development to be stimulated is the aspect of physical motor development, namely fine motor. Children's fine motor development becomes optimal when they get the right stimulation. However, the activities at school are not maximal in stimulating children's fine motor skills, so other activities are needed that support the development of children's fine motor skills. Cooking class is an activity that can stimulate fine motor skills in children, because in this activity children will use their fingers when cleaning ingredients and eye and hand coordination when cutting ingredients. This type of Quasi Experimental research is a research method for researchers with quantitative research types. Groups B1 and B2 in this study were taken as samples. The experimental class is in Group B1 with 10 children and the control class is in Group B2 with 10 children. Data collection techniques in this study were in the form of tests and observations. Abstract

The purpose of this article is to disuss the results of research on how much influence Pop Up Books have in introducing letters of the alphabet at Bhakti Bunda Padang Kingdergarten. In the introduction of alphabet letters, they have not used Pop Up Book media and learning still seems monotonous. As a result, shildren are less interested and respond during learning. This is because the media used in learning is only blackboards and letter cards. This research is a quantitative research using Quasi Experiment method. The population in this study were all students of Bhakti Bunda Padang Kingdergarten with the Cluster Sampling technique (area sampling) namely selecting or  taking  samples based on certain characteristic needed in the study. Based on the data above, the classes that will be used as samples are classes B1 and B3 where groups B1 and B3, taking into account the homogeneity of the  same children aged 5-6 years and the same learning facilities.Based on the hypothesis test table in the sig column. (2-tailed) obtained a sig value of 0.024. this value indicates that the sig value is 0.024 <0.05. in accordance with the measurement criteria in the hypothesis test, if a sig value <0.05 is abtained, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of Pop Up Books in introducing alphabet letters in Bhakti Bunda Padang Kingdergarten.

Abstract

The research was classroom action research according to Kurt Lewin, Kemmis & Mc Taggart cycle model. The research was carried out in two cycles and each cycle was carried out in two meetings. In order to ensure the research, run well the researcher conducted on the stages that were passed in CAR such as; 1) planning/preparation, 2) implementation, 3) observation/observation, and 4) Reflection. The subjects in this study were teachers and 16 students of group B at RA (Islamic Kindergarten) Samara Plus in 2022/2023. While the object of this research was the ability to recognize shapes through Kinetic Sand media at group B of RA (Islamic Kindergarten) Samara Plus. The data collection instrument was the form of observation and student learning activities observation. After the data was collected through observation, the data was processed by using score and rating scales in the form of “stars” and checklists. Based on the results of this study, it proved that there is an improvement of the early childhood students in learning activities after the Cycle I and Cycle II through Kinetic Sand media at RA Samara Plus. Cycle I was the highest early childhood students’ ability to recognize shapes was still developed or two stars. In cycle II showed that the ability to recognize shapes had reached Expected developed. Abstract

The background of this research is because there are children who when carrying out an activity at school prefer friends, lack a sense of concern for children, do not cooperate and are less responsible for the tasks carried out. This research approach is quantitative with a type of quasi-experimental (experimental quiz). The population in this study was the study group at Pembina State Kindergarten 01 Sutera which consisted of 3 classes, namely B1 17, B2 17 and B3 21. The samples in this study were group B1 and group B2 which were taken by purposive sampling technique, where the group B1 is used as the control class and B2 is used as the experimental class. The instrument in the research uses a test. The data analysis test used in this study was to compare the differences of the two average scores, so a t-test was performed. but before that, first do the normality test and homogeneity test. The results of this study show that: a) the homogeneity test is known to have a significant value (sig) 0.399> 0.05. It was concluded that the variance of the N-gain data for the experimental class and the control class was homogeneous: b) The sig(2-tailed) value was 0.001 based on table t 0.001<0.05. Thus it can be concluded that playing bakiak is more effective for stimulating children's prosocial skills in Pembina 01 Sutera Kindergarten. It can be concluded that clogs play is proven to be more effective on children's prosocial skills

Abstract

The process of teaching and learning between teachers and students is a form of communication. Communication has a very important role in the teaching and learning process in the classroom, because without communication the teaching and learning process does not run well, so what is the goal of education will not be achieved. The purpose of this study was to find out how the teacher's communication skills in teaching early childhood in Tembilahan State Kindergarten? What are the factors that influence communication skills in teaching early childhood at Tembilahan State Kindergarten? The subjects studied were 4 teachers. The approach that the researcher used was descriptive qualitative, the data collection method was by interview, the results of the discussion of the research on teacher communication skills in teaching early childhood in Tembilahan State Kindergarten were well implemented. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the independent curriculum learning management is managed in the Khalifah Carocok Anau Kindergarten in the South Coastal Region. This researcher is a participant in a qualitative study that describes the planning, implementation, and assessment of the independent curriculum in kindergarten. Information is collected from various sources, including observation, interviews, and documentation. To process all the collected data used data analysis, especially descriptive analysis. Based on research findings, the management of independent curriculum learning includes planning, implementation, and assessment processes. Learning planning consists of annual programs, semester programs, and teaching modules. Where co-curricular, extra-curricular and intra-curricular activities are used to complete the learning process. Every Monday to Thursday, students take part in intracurricular learning, and every Saturday students take part in extracurricular learning. For Friday imtaq-based lessons. In one semester, two learning projects are completed. Different content, products and results are used to carry out learning in a differentiated way. The implementation of independent curriculum learning is carried out by giving independence to children to carry out activities. Assessment of learning emphasizes the process not the result. The assessment process is carried out in the form of early learning activities, during the learning process and at the end of learning activities

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how much influence outdoor activity has on the development of children's drawing creativity at Khalifah Tarusan Kindergarten. This research uses a quantitative approach in the form of a quasi experiment. The population of this study was all children at the Khalifah Tarusan Kindergarten with a sample of 10 children in class B2 and 10 children in B3. The data collection technique uses a test in the form of 12 statement items. Data analysis techniques use normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests, and effect size tests with the help of the SPSS 23 application with a significance level of 5% (0.05). The results of the research show that the implementation of outdoor activities has a significant influence compared to indoor and control classes through teacher demonstrations on the development of children's creativity at the Khalifah Tarusan Kindergarten. With a pre-test score of 217 in the experimental class and a post-test of 393, while the control class had a pre-test score of 184 and post-test 314. With a sig (2-tailed) score of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This research purpose to reveal the thematic songs impact on the musical intelligence of early childhood in Hauriyah Halum Integrated Childhood Education. This research uses quantitative methods with an experimental approach at Hauriyah Halum Integrated PAUD, Padang. The research population involved 51 early childhood children, with a sample of 22 children divided into groups of experimental and control. Data was collected through tests before and after treatment. Analysis for Data used normality, homogeneity, paired sample t-test, and independent sample t-test. The research results showed a significant increase in the intelligence musical of children in the experimental group who received thematic song treatment with a score in average of 18.27 compared to the control group with free song treatment who received an average score of 16.09. Next, reviewing the t-test results obtained a sig (2-tailed) of 0.006. This value is <0.05. So, the final result is that the score is significant
