Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Arabic language learning methods based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) through literature studies to identify their effectiveness, challenges, and development strategies. Using a library research method with a qualitative approach, this study uses academic documents (journals, books, proceedings) in 2019-2024 as the subject, while the object is the HOTS concept and its application in Arabic language learning. Data collection techniques are carried out through systematic searches in academic databases with related keywords, then analyzed using content analysis through theme coding, pattern identification, and synthesis of findings. The results of the study indicate that the HOTS approach is effective in improving analytical, evaluation, and creative skills in Arabic language learning, especially through problem-based learning methods, flipped classrooms, and technology integration, despite facing obstacles such as limited teacher training and teaching materials. These findings recommend the development of a HOTS-based curriculum, intensive teacher training, and technology adaptation to optimize learning outcomes

Abstract

A marketing strategy is a comprehensive, integrated and integrated plan in the field of marketing that provides guidance on the activities that will be carried out to achieve goals. The aim of this research is to find out marketing strategies to increase sales at Terubuk Bengkalis Market. This type of research is qualitative. The method used in this research is the SWOT approach method. Based on the final results obtained in IFAS and EFAS, the strength factor is 2.73, the Weakness Factor is 3.41, the Opportunity Factor is 3.48, and the Threat factor is 3.41

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has an important role in shaping the spiritual and moral character of students, including those with special needs, such as the blind. The value of totality encourages students to give full dedication in carrying out worship and daily activities despite facing physical limitations. Meanwhile, the value of low self-esteem teaches awareness of the greatness of Allah and encourages an attitude of not being arrogant and empathetic towards others. Thus, PAI not only builds spiritual intelligence, but also forms a noble character that is adaptive to various life challenges. The research method used in this study is a Literature Review and case study. The literature review aims to provide a theoretical basis and clarify the position of the research in a broader scientific context. A case study is a learning or research method that uses real or hypothetical cases to analyze, understand, or provide solutions to a problem. The results found that Islamic Religious Education teachers in handling AN case-studies are: Recognizing feelings of inferiority and understanding their origins are important initial steps for AN. Focus on AN's strengths and achievements rather than AN's weaknesses. Focus on things that have been achieved and your strengths. Achieve simple things to build self-confidence. Maintain physical, mental, and emotional health. Whether it is in classroom learning, or learning outside the classroom which is a behavioral reinforcement program (moral education).

Abstract

Sufism plays an essential role in shaping the spiritual character of Muslim communities, especially in the face of modernization and globalization, which tend to erode Islamic values. Kampung Agas, located in Tanjung Uma, Lubuk Baja, Batam City, is one of the areas that maintains the practice of Sufism in daily life. However, the community's understanding of Sufism varies, with many associating it only with dhikr and wirid practices without comprehending its essence in self-purification and moral development. This study employs a qualitative approach using field studies and in-depth interviews with religious leaders, community members, and taklim assembly administrators in Kampung Agas. Participatory observation was also conducted to understand the practical application of Sufism in daily life. The findings indicate that Sufism contributes to shaping the community's spiritual character by enhancing religious awareness, controlling desires, and strengthening social values such as honesty, patience, and compassion. However, challenges remain in spreading a broader understanding of Sufism, particularly among the younger generation, who are more influenced by materialism and individualism. In conclusion, Sufism has a positive impact on the spiritual development of the Kampung Agas community. However, innovative approaches in religious outreach are needed to make it more relevant to contemporary developments, such as utilizing digital media and incorporating Sufi-based education in schools

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between formula milk feeding and the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers at Tarempa Health Center, Anambas Islands Regency. The research used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The subjects were mothers with toddlers aged 0–24 months, while the object was the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers. Data were collected through structured interviews using validated and reliable questionnaires. Data analysis techniques included univariate and bivariate analyses with the Chi-Square test. The results showed that out of 33 respondents, 73% of toddlers were given formula milk, and 64% experienced diarrhea. Bivariate analysis indicated a significant relationship between formula milk feeding and the incidence of diarrhea (p = 0.005). Toddlers who consumed formula milk had a higher risk of developing diarrhea compared to those who were not given formula. This study highlights the importance of educating mothers about exclusive breastfeeding and safe formula milk practices to prevent diarrhea in toddlers

Abstract

Islamic education is an activity carried out consciously and in a planned way by developing, improving, leading, training, nurturing students so that they can actively develop the potential that exists within them with the aim of having religious spiritual strength, knowledge, noble morals and the skills needed to live life in this world and towards the afterlife in accordance with Islamic values. Thoughts on Islamic education have always been a hot topic of conversation from time to time. Starting from the emergence of Islam as a religion to the elaboration of Islam, it became an object of study in the realm of thought by Muslim scholars and orientalists.  The aim of this research is to see the views of two figures, Harun Nasution and Nurcholish Madjid, who were figures in the development of Islamic thought who were quite influential in their time. This research method is included in library research. The research results show that both education systems are based on the principles of the Koran which emphasizes the importance of morals and the need for education in all aspects of life.

Abstract

Education holds a vital role in shaping high-quality human resources and serves as a central component in guiding learning processes. This study aims to explore the concept of curriculum management and its application within Indonesia’s education system. Employing a qualitative literature review approach, the research draws on various sources including books, academic journals, and official policy documents. The findings reveal that curriculum management encompasses conceptualization, planning, execution, and evaluation to ensure an effective learning process. The curriculum framework integrates key components such as objectives, learning content, methods, and assessments, all of which are interconnected to support optimal educational outcomes. The evolution of Indonesia’s curriculum—from the 1947 model to the current Merdeka (Independence) Curriculum—demonstrates the nation's commitment to refining its educational vision and adapting to contemporary challenges. Quality assurance emerges as a crucial factor in enhancing education standards. The study concludes by stressing the importance of collaboration among the government, educational institutions, and the wider community in managing the curriculum to effectively respond to global developments

Abstract

This article explores the integration of the deep learning approach (as conceptualized by Biggs & Tang) into the Early Childhood Islamic Education (PIAUD) curriculum as an innovative strategy to holistically enhance children’s spiritual and cognitive literacy. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, the study analyzes relevant literature, current curriculum documents, and implementation in several Islamic-based PIAUD institutions. Findings indicate that this approach fosters contextual understanding of Islamic values, nurtures early critical thinking, and integrates spiritual, cognitive, and affective dimensions in learning. The novelty of this study lies in its emphasis on combining reflective pedagogy with tawhid-based Islamic values in early childhood curriculum design. It recommends a transformative, adaptive curriculum framework responsive to 21st-century educational challenges and the demands of the Fifth Industrial Revolution

Abstract

Mad wa qashar are two important concepts in tajweed that relate to the length and shortness of the letters in the Qur'an. Properly understanding and applying mad wa qashar is essential to produce fluent recitation of the Qur'an. In this study, the author wants to analyse the material of mad wa qashar in learning al-Qur'an Hadith at Madrasah Tsanawiyah. The research method used is a qualitative method with a content analysis approach, the main source is the Al-Qur`an Hadith textbook published by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia. After conducting an in-depth analysis, the author can find the structure of the Al-Qur'an Hadith material in Madrasah Tsanawiyah related to mad wa qashar consists of two sub-themes. The two sub-themes are: i) The definition of Mad wa Qashar, ii) Types of Mad and examples. In the future, the author hopes that this research will have a positive impact, especially in madrasah as a formal educational institution with the characteristic of instilling Islamic values to its students

Abstract

This study aims to explore the understanding and practice of wudhu (ablution) and shalat (prayer) among 7th-grade students at MTs NU Kraksaan Probolinggo, as part of fiqih education, which plays a vital role in shaping students' religious character. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with students and teachers, direct observation of worship activities, and documentation of fiqih learning materials used in class. The findings reveal that most students possess a basic understanding of the procedures for wudhu and shalat, but a significant gap remains in actual practice—particularly regarding the accuracy of implementation and the internalization of the spiritual meaning behind the rituals. Factors such as home prayer habits, time constraints, and limited opportunities for hands-on practice at school contribute to this gap. On the other hand, Islamic religious education teachers have delivered the material systematically, but challenges persist in ensuring students’ emotional engagement and consistent practice beyond the classroom. This study provides a theoretical contribution to the development of fiqih education at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level by emphasizing the importance of integrating cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects in worship education. Practical recommendations include increasing hands-on practice during fiqih lessons, creating a school environment that supports regular prayer, and encouraging active parental involvement in guiding religious practice at home. Collaboration among teachers, schools, and families is key to cultivating correct, consistent, and meaningful religious habits in students
