Abstract

This study uses a qualitative approach with sociological analysis to evaluate the potential and problems of Bakutaru Disadvantaged Villages. Field observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis were conducted to collect data on local businesses, skills training, economic, social, and ecological conditions of the village. The results of the study show that the diversification of economic activities has potential, but is constrained by limited infrastructure. Village social capital is strong, but minimal social infrastructure hinders cooperation. Basic education is quite good, but non-formal and supporting educational facilities are still lacking. Health services are adequate, but the low participation of BPJS indicates the need to increase health insurance. Ecological challenges include high pollution and minimal disaster management. This research makes an important contribution to development and science by demonstrating the need for effective interventions to improve the economic, social, and ecological resilience of Bakutaru Disadvantaged Villages, South Konawe district, Southeast Sulawesi

Abstract

This study looks at the financial assistance, innovation, and regulatory environment as key determinants of the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in the West Javan cities of Depok and Bogor. A structured questionnaire survey was used to gather data from MSME owners and operators using a quantitative research approach. The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings show a strong correlation between financial assistance, innovation, the business climate, and MSME expansion. Increased MSME growth is linked to better financial support, innovative ideas, and a supportive regulatory framework. These results highlight the significance of addressing a variety of issues in order to promote the expansion of MSMEs and offer insightful information to stakeholders, policymakers, and company owners who wish to assist in the growth of the MSME sector in the area.

Abstract

This study aims to produce integrated LKPD (student worksheets) of Ternate local potential projects to improve the chemical literacy of high school students. This study is a research and development orresearch and  development (R&D), which uses the ADDIE development model ( Analysis, Design,  Development, Implementation, and  Evaluation). The ADDIE model begins with a needs analysis conducted through a literature review and field study by means of classroom observation and questionnaire distribution. The research method used is a descriptive research method. The results of the needs analysis obtained a percentage of 100% indicating that the Ternate Local Potential Project integrated LKPD has never been used in the learning process. Furthermore, the development of the Ternate Local Potential Project integrated LKPD was designed, then tested for feasibility (validity test) by two expert teams. The validity  data obtained an average value of 3.46 with a valid category. So that the Ternate Local Potential Project integrated LKPD that was  developed has met the valid criteria and is feasible to use or can  be implemented in chemistry learning in schools so that chemical literacy can  be improved

Abstract

In activities related to financial services, a Muslim has a tendency to choose Shariah-compliant services. The presence of digital banking services will certainly not escape this tendency but in a rational view, this tendency is often challenged. For this reason, research is needed that relates the behavior of a Muslim in choosing digital banking services that not only comply with sharia provisions but also provide benefits that can be felt directly. This study integrates the factors recognized in technology continuance theory with the prevailing values in Muslim behavior to provide results that match the digital characteristics of Islamic banking. Data were collected from 183 Muslim users of Islamic digital banking services in Java, Indonesia and then tested with structural equation modeling (SEM). The research findings show that sharia compliance and perceived usefulness directly have no effect on continuance intention to use Islamic digital banking services, but indirectly through attitude mediation, these two factors have a significant effect. In the direct effect, satisfaction is the most determinant factor in influencing continuance intention to use, while perceived usefulness is the most determinant factor in influencing attitude. Then in the indirect effect, attitude has a full mediation role on the effect of perceived usefulness on continuance intention to use, and partial mediation of the effect of sharia compliance on continuance intention to use

Abstract

This study investigates the associations between age and preferences for various payment methods, particularly focusing on Unified Payments Interface (UPI). Utilizing a quantitative approach, we tested multiple alternative hypotheses to explore how age influences payment preferences and perceptions. Results indicate that younger consumers tend to favor UPI due to its convenience, while older adults exhibit a preference for traditional payment methods such as debit and credit cards. Concerns about security and usability are notably more pronounced among older users, suggesting the need for tailored educational initiatives and user-friendly designs. The findings contribute to existing consumer behavior theories by integrating age as a critical factor in technology adoption. Practical implications emphasize the importance of targeted marketing strategies, enhanced user experiences, and effective communication regarding security features to foster greater acceptance of digital payment systems across all demographics. Recommendations for future research include longitudinal studies, cross-cultural comparisons, and an exploration of emerging technologies in the payment landscape. Understanding these dynamics is crucial for stakeholders aiming to enhance digital payment adoption and ensure inclusivity in the financial ecosystem

Abstract

This paper reflects on how the neuroeconomics strategies employed by streaming companies, like Netflix and Spotify, affect Generation Z's purchasing intentions in Ahmedabad City. Neuroeconomics endeavors to be an integrative science that explains how neuroscience and psychology will intervene in or complement economics to develop knowledge about understanding consumer decision-making processes and those factors that influence buying behavior. Having established such neuroeconomic theories, streaming service companies then hunt them under the guise of optimized user experience with visual and auditory stimuli and tailored recommendations to keep the user interested and waiting for another subscription or purchase. The effects of such strategies are pretty important to understand for the Gen Z audience - a bunch of kids known for their tech-savvy nature and instant gratification. This paper investigates how streaming applications make use of cognitive biases arising from loss aversion to dopamine-driven reward systems and social proof influencing the buying behavior of young consumers. A mixed method approach was used on a representative sample of Gen Z youths by surveys and interviews in Ahmedabad to collect the data. Overall, the findings from this study are expected to be very informative on how neuroeconomic strategies will or will not impact the consumption behavior of Gen Z in the streaming industry. This would be followed by actionable recommendations for companies about how they can maximize their marketing efforts to resonate more effectively with this emergent market going forward. As neuroeconomics and consumer behavior begin to intermix, streaming services stand to increase users' engagement, amplify sales, and cultivate long-term customer loyalty with Gen Z among urban India.

Abstract

This research explores how information systems can improve access to justice for marginalized groups, focusing on the challenges they encounter within legal frameworks. Employing a mixed-methods approach, data were gathered through surveys and interviews involving both community members and legal professionals. The analysis reveals that existing information systems can enhance awareness of legal rights and streamline access to legal services. Results show that by making information systems more user-friendly, understanding and navigation of legal processes for marginalized populations can be significantly improved. The study concludes that optimizing these systems is essential for filling gaps in legal access, highlighting the importance of collaboration between legal experts and technology developers to create effective solutions that address the specific needs of these communities. This research adds to the discourse on how technology can help close the justice gap and foster a more equitable legal system
