Abstract

This research discusses the Da'wah of KH Muhammad Abduh Pabbajah to the Community in the City of Parepare. This research attempts to answer the following research problems: 1) What is the strategy of preaching KH Muhammad Abduh Pabbajah to the people in Parepare City?; 2) What is the important theme of KH Muhammad Abduh Pabbajah's preaching to the people in Parepare City?. This research refers to the theories, concepts, and strategies of da'wah introduced by Al-Bayaninu, namely: al-manhaj al-athifi (sentimental strategy); al-manhaj al-`aqli (rational strategy) al-manhaj al-hissi (sensory strategy), and al-manhaj al-fitri (natural strategy). This research uses qualitative research methods based on field research, by applying a phenomenological approach to analyze data and facts found in the research field. This method is used to reveal the meaning of the complexity of the da'wah of KH Muhammad Abduh Pabbajah in the City of Parepare, with the aim that the use of this method can describe the strategies, models, and methods of da'wah from the characters studied holistically and comprehensively. Sources of data in this study were obtained from literature searches, documents, and empirical investigations to obtain a detailed description of field data through purposive interviews with informants. The research that was conducted succeeded in revealing that: 1) The Da'wah Method KH. Muhammad Abduh Pabbajah in the community in Parepare City combined several da'wah methods such as al-manhaj al-athifi (sentimental strategy); al-manhaj al-hissi (sensory strategy), as well as al-manhaj al-fitri (natural strategy) dynamically by paying attention to the situation of the community that is the object of his da'wah. To support the da'wah that was carried out, KH Muhammad Abduh Pabbaja carried out several social activities, such as establishing an Islamic Boarding School Educational Institution, carrying out social activities by becoming the general chairman and secretary general of the Darul Dakwah wal Irsyad (DDI) Executive Board, becoming a State Servant, actively delivering da'wah and filling recitations at the Grand Mosque, making political parties a means of da'wah, as well as conveying da'wah through several writings. 2) The theme and content of KH Muhammad Abduh Pabbajah's da'wah is an invitation to strengthen faith, and instill respect for humans and humanity, in order to maintain the unity of the servant of Allah SWT vertically, and maintain harmonious social relations horizontally. The steps taken by KH Muhammad Abduh Pabbajah in maintaining the balance of the relationship. KH Muhammad Abduh Pabbajah does not spread news that can damage social relations, does clarification (tabayyun) every time he receives news that is not certain to be true, strongly condemns spreaders of false news, always maintains calm, honesty and istiqamah and follows the Sunnah of the Prophet in the treatment of various diseases.

Abstract

This thesis discusses how the interpersonal communication applied by the KKBPK extension workers in increasing the participation of men in the post-modern era towards family planning programs in the City of Parepare. The purpose of this thesis is to find out the planning and communication strategy between personal trainers of KKBPK to increase male participation, the obstacles that hinder male participation, and how the description of male participation in the post-modern era in Parepare City. This type of research is qualitative, field research (Field Research), researchers go directly to the field through observation, interviews, and documentation studies, in order to obtain clear and representative data. The results of this study indicate: (1) Interpersonal communication planning and strategy is the method used by the KKBPK Extension Officer in approaching men's participation, with interpersonal communication carried out face to face, it is easier for men to get and understand the family planning program messages conveyed. KKBPK instructor. (2) The obstacles that hinder the participation of men in the City of Parepare are the notion or perception that they still tend to hand over the responsibility for the family planning program entirely to their wives or women,psychological (worried about not optimal virility, impotence), social constraints (shame so gossip), wives who are not supportive on the grounds that the family planning program, especially vasectomy, opens up risky opportunities for men to cheat, with vasectomy it is feared that men will feel more free, "safe" -safe” if you have an affair, because the assumption is that the mistress will not get pregnant. (3) Various efforts have been made by the KKBPK Extension Officer, ranging from planning and strategy to formal (lurah, midwife) and informal (community leaders, religious leaders) approaches to increase the participation of men in the post-modern era in Parepare City.

Abstract

This thesis discusses about cultural da'wah messages in the implementation of akikah in Leppangang, Pinrang Regency which combines sharia and culture by using semiotic analysis. This study aims to reveal the meaning of denotation and connotation in the implementation of akikah in Leppangang, Pinrang Regency. As well as knowing the meaning of cultural da'wah messages in the implementation of akikah in Leppangang, Pinrang Regency. This research is a qualitative research using a cultural da'wah review with semiotic analysis. The research approach used is more emphasis on theological and phenomenological. The sources of data for this research are traditional leaders, community, religious leaders, and the government. Data collection methods used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data processing technique used is the inductive method. The results of this study are reveal the meaning of denotation and connotation. So that in every tradition of carrying out aqikah in Leppangang, a concept is born of an embodiment or appearance of a sacred tradition and mythical thoughts emerge about what is believed and ultimately do not match what has been thought so far. In addition, it classifies three processes, namely: 1) The implementation of aqikah according to Islamic law, including: slaughtering aqikah animals, shaving the baby's hair, and giving names that contain da'wah messages in the form of worship, shari'a and morals 2) The process of Islamization in the implementation of akikah, includes: Reading barzanji ,Massorong reinforcements, and dio ute blood, 3) Traditions in the implementation of aqikah, include: serving reinforcements, carrying babies around the house, eating offerings, and mappenre tojang. The two processes that do not include the implementation of aqikah according to Islamic law contain a cultural meaning, namely the meaning of tafa'ul which is a prayer and good hope for the life of the child from the implementation of akikah.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the communication strategies of Islamic extension agents in fostering converts in Patambia, Pinrang Regency. This research used descriptive qualitative research. The results of this study indicated: (1) The existence of converts in Patambia, Betteng Village, Lembang District, Pinrang Regency, with the large number of converts in Patambia, Betteng Village, Lembang District, shows something positive, namely an indication that the desire of people to convert to Islam is quite large, reaching 128 people. details of 74 male and 54 female. (2) The program for converting converts in Patambia, Betteng Subdistrict, Lembang District, Pinrang Regency, namely: Islamic aqidah development, worship guidance and guidance for reading and writing the Qur'an.

Abstract

This thesis is about the Use of a YouTube Channel at the KUA Ujung Kota Parepare in Forming a Sakinah Family. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The results of this study indicate: (1) Utilization of the Youtube channel: KUA Ujung Parepare, containing content related to guidance and marriage (bimwin) materials such as the meaning of the sakinah family, the rights and obligations of husband and wife, thaharah material (mandi junub), family economic management, practice of consent qabul, ways of educating children, maintaining reproduction and material on Domestic Violence (KDRT). (2) Supporting factors in using the youtube channel at KUA Ujung Parepare are: the community's need for information about the sakinah family, easy access to youtube services. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors in using YouTube channels are: lack of content publication, limited knowledge of access to YouTube channels, and it takes a long time to access YouTube channels. (3) Utilization of the youtube channel: KUA Ujung Parepare in forming a sakinah family in Ujung Parepare City which has a significant role and contribution in getting to the sakinah family, especially in increasing the knowledge and understanding of the bride and groom in forming sakinah , mawaddah and warahmah families.

Abstract

This study discusses the Communication Strategy of Intimate Radio Broadcasters in the Here-and-Side Chat Program (Obras). This study aims to determine the strategy, communication process, and the existence of an intimate radio broadcaster in Parepare City. This study is a qualitative study using theoryHypodermic (Syringe) as a way to see the process of the message content of the Chat Here and there (Obras) live, fast and have a strong effect on interest in hearing the program, as well as using theory Agenda Setting Theory which explains the cumulative effect of the media. The sources of data for this study are community leaders, loyal listeners of intimate radio, and the government. Data collection methods used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data processing technique used is the inductive method. The results of this study indicate that 1) The broadcaster's communication strategy carried out by Radio Mesra Parepare is to pay attention to the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats which then emerges from the analysis that there is a broadcaster's communication strategy which is divided into 5 aspects, namely idea communication strategy, personality communication, personality projection, pronunciation strategies, and voice control strategies; 2)Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the implementation of the communication strategy of Radio Mesra Parepare broadcasters in the Obrass program in general had gone well, including the use of fluent language, broadcasters focused on the material presented, and they had also used expression tools to support their communication. Each of the Obrass broadcasters has also had a different personality from one another, being friendly both when broadcasting and outside the broadcast, has been quite successful in pronunciation and generally has been able to control the voice when broadcasting.

Abstract

The main objectives of this research are to find out the student’s needs in learning English as a general course and also the target language needs for materials and to design an appropriate syllabus on the basis of agricultural student’s needs especially in food crops and horticulture. In order to achieve these objectives, a need analysis of the students was carried out in advance. The research method employed descriptive research. The research was carried out by distributing questionnaires to collect the relevant data. The data collected were tabulated and analyzed using both descriptive and quantitatif methods. The population of this reserach was all the first grade of food crops and horticulture students consisted 25 students and one English Instructor and one Vocational Teacher. The result of the research indicated that learning needs questionnaires given on speaking and listening activities. Based on the questionnaires showed that learning needs of perceptions of sudents skills regarding the importance of item referring to speaking skill were 94,4% ,the subskills highest importance is listening 93,6%, and other were writing 92,8% and reading 90,4%. Target language needs as perception of students regarding the importance of students reffering to speaking skils were 95,2%, and listening as the next skill with 94,4%. Reading and writing skills have the same range of 93,6% according to perception of respodents. Based in this fact, a syllabus that meets the students expectation specially related to teaching material, teaching method and leraning strategies is to be designed that using in curriculum 2013.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the strategy of Acting out in the Akidah Akhlak subject in familiarizing the polite attitude of students in class XI MIA 2 MAN 2 Parepare. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. This study research was conducted to find out the strategies of Akidah Akhlak subject teachers in getting used to the polite attitude of students and the supporting and inhibiting factors of Akidah Akhlak subject teachers in getting used to the polite attitude of students. In this study, the data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation with data processing steps, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The credibility test was carried out using the data triangulation method. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the Acting out strategy in the Akidah Akhlak subject carried out by the teacher in familiarizing students with polite attitudes was quite effective in the aspects of religious and moral values of class XI MIA 2 students. In this case, the teacher provided motivation and advice to familiarize manners in everyday life such as in dressing, decorating, traveling. The supporting factors in getting used to polite behavior using the acting out strategy are the enthusiasm of students and facilities and infrastructure while the inhibiting factors are requiring a long time allocation and lack of preparation from each group. The researcher draws conclusions from all the data that has been obtained, namely that teachers of the Aqidah Akhlak subject by using the acting out strategy can familiarize students with polite attitudes. Therefore, the habituation of politeness can be applied by Akidah Akhlak teacher for all students at MAN 2 Parepare.

Abstract

This study discusses the use of the Mondly Arabic Application in Improving Mastery of Muĥādatsah Santri Takhasshush Al Urwatul Wutsqaa Islamic Boarding School, Fort Sidrap. This study aims to determine the use of the Mondly Arabic Application in Improving Mastery of Muĥādatsah Santri Takhasshush Al Urwatul Wutsqaa Islamic Boarding School, Fort Sidrap. This study used a quasi Experimental Design in the form of a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The location for the research was Al Urwatul Wutsqaa Islamic Boarding School, Sidrap Fort. The results of this study indicate, (1)masteryMuĥādatsahTakhassush students at PP Al Urwatul Wutsqaa Benteng-Sidrap using Mondly Arabic have an average mean of 86.00. This indicates that there is an increase in Muĥādatsah mastery of 22.80. (2) students takhassush Muĥādatsah mastery in PP Al Urwatul Wutsqaa Benteng-Sidrap using conventional media has an average mean of 73.40. This indicates that there is an increase in Muĥādatsah mastery of 18.00. (3) the mastery of Muĥādatsah takhassush students at PP Al Urwatul Wutsqaa Benteng-Sidrap when using Mondly Arabic using conventional media there is a difference with the scoremean posttestexperimental group andmean posttestthe control group obtained 86.00 > 73.40 with a difference of 12.60. It can be interpreted that the final score between the experimental and control groups is different so that there is a positive influence from the independent variables on the dependent variable.

Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of the readability of the book Let's Understand Arabic at MTs DDI Takkalasi. This study aims to determine the readability level of Arabic textbooks for class VIII students of MTs DDI Takkalasi. This study used a mixed method with a quantitative and qualitative sequential explanatory design. The location for the research was MTs DDI Takkalasi, Barru district. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, several points of conclusion were found, that the results of the readability test using the Cloze Test on thirty class VIII students of MTS DDI Takkalas, found that the average of the six texts tested was included in the category of moderate readability (Instructional) for participants educate.
