Abstract

This study delves into the synergy between technology and policy in Biofarma's Cold Chain Vaccine Distribution System in Indonesia amid the pandemic. This research aims to identify and quantify the tangible and intangible benefits of technology-policy integration, assess the system's influence on the timeliness and quantity of vaccine delivery, and evaluate the maintenance of vaccine quality across Indonesia's diverse regions. Utilizing a qualitative methodology, the study conducted extensive interviews with three representatives from different Indonesian provinces to uncover the impacts of technology and policy integration on vaccine distribution. The results spotlight several key patterns those are 1) Technological Backbone: Data Integration & Distribution: Automation has significantly transformed coordination and precision in vaccine distribution. 2) Operational Revolution: Efficiency & Adaptability: The system has notably enhanced operational efficiency and adaptability. 3) Regional Nuances: System Challenges & Refinements: Identifying unique challenges across various regions shed light on factors impacting the efficacy of the distribution system. 4) Vaccine Safeguarding: Real-time Monitoring & Inventory Transparency: Real-time monitoring and transparent inventory management ensure vaccine quality and reliability. 5)Horizon Scanning: Technological Advancements & Environmental Adaptations: Recommendations for technological advancements and proactive measures to refine vaccine distribution strategies have emerged. Refined and named patterns accurately represent the essence of the data, emphasizing the pivotal role of technology and policy integration in effective vaccine distribution amid the COVID-19 crisis. The study underscores the critical alignment of technology and policy to confront challenges and enhance vaccine distribution, impacting the ongoing response to COVID-19 and future global humanitarian operations.

Abstract

This research discusses the authority of the Land Deed Official (Pejabat Pembuat Akta Tanah or PPAT) to issue authentic deeds, specifically Sale and Purchase Deeds (Akta Jual Beli or AJB), in the process of transferring land rights through sale and purchase, where authentic deeds hold full probative force. The case under consideration involves the misuse of PPAT authority in the execution of their duties. PPAT, in carrying out their responsibilities in creating authentic deeds, must adhere to the principles of caution and precision. The responsibility of the PPAT for a legally defective Sale and Purchase Deed in the Decision of the District Court of Wonogiri Number 13/PDT.G/2021/PN Wng. is discussed. In the judgment, it is explained that the PPAT violated the law due to the failure to meet the legal requirements of the agreement as per Article 1320 of the Indonesian Civil Code. This research is normative juridical, utilizing a qualitative data analysis method. To examine legal issues, primary legal sources, secondary legal sources, and tertiary legal sources are used, and these sources are subsequently analyzed using descriptive analytical techniques.

Abstract

SARS-CoV-2 or coronavirus disease is the cause of the world pandemic in 2019 (Adnan et al., 2020). In its development, SARS-CoV-2 has occurred mutations, resulting in the emergence of several new variants (Hartono and Yusuf, 2021). One of the efforts made to determine the occurrence of mutations is to build and analyze phylogenetic tree (van Dorp et al., 2020). ORF3a protein is one of the constituent genes of the SARS-CoV-2 virus (Ahmad et al., 2022). The dataset was obtained through a database that has been publicly published on the NCBI website (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/). The data used are homo sapiens from China (Wu et al., 2020), USA (Daniel et al., 2020), France (Shannon et al., 2020), Indonesia (Rantam et al., 2021), Australia (Caly et al., 2020), and Mexico (Mendoza-Salazar et al., 2022). The phylogenetic tree was constructed using the Neighbor-Joining method. The result is ORF3a from Mexico and France are closely related. ORF3a from Mexico and France have the same level of distance and similarity with ORF3a from China and ORF3a from Indonesia have proximity to ORF3a USA.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the blended learning learning model on students' learning interest in class V SDN Kemayora 15. This type of research is a true experiment with a posttest applied to both classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The population in this study were all VB and VC grade students at SDN Kemayoran 15 with a total of 52 students. Sampling in this study was carried out by simple random sampling technique. There are two types of instruments used to obtain data, namely distributing questionnaires of student interest in learning and student learning outcomes tests. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test and the Mann Whitney test. Based on the SPSS results above, it is known that the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000. So that 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 or 0.000 <0.05. Then the hypothesis is accepted. The results of this study show the influence of the blended learning learning model on students' learning interest in civics learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Squid is one of Indonesia's marine fisheries resources that is nutritious and in high demand by the public, hence the need for good quality squid. The obstacle experienced in fulfilling the demand for squid is the quality of squid. Various research have been conducted to determine preservatives that are effective enough to maintain the freshness of squid for a long time and extend the shelf life. This research was conducted using a literature study technique, comparing and selecting the most effective of several natural preservatives used. Some of the preservatives compared were lactate solution from cabbage fermentation, yogurt, chitosan solution, picung seeds, and cucumber. This study aims to determine the effective preservatives that have the longest shelf life for squid. The results of the literature study showed that yoghurt was the most effective preservative for extending the shelf life of squid until day 11 with total lactic acid bacteria colonies of 4.8x 105 cfu/gram and pH value of 6.8 in low temperature storage. The concentration used was 1.5%.

Abstract

The continuous growth of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and the development of new virus variants is a significant health concern affecting various populations, specifically healthcare workers. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a model of Sustainable COVID-19 Prevention for Health Workers in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). This quantitative study was carried out using a cross-sectional design, and the sample population comprised 2233 health workers in various health centers. Subsequently, a total of 300 were selected as participants based on the predetermined criteria. The analysis results showed that understanding standard operating procedure (SOP) and the purpose of preventive action had a significant effect on COVID-19 prevention behavior, with a significance value of p=0.001. Furthermore, the availability of human resources, drugs/health equipment, and budget had a significant influence. The results also showed that information, appreciation, emotional, equipment support, teamwork, socialization of actions, work coordination, and work culture affected COVID-19 prevention behavior, with a significance value of p=0.001. Based on the results, the variables with a significant effect on COVID-19 prevention behavior should receive adequate attention from the government.
