Abstract

Online transactions provide huge benefits for buyers and sellers. For buyers, the convenience of shopping without having to go to a physical store is the main benefit. They can compare prices and products from various sellers, saving time and transportation costs. For sellers, online transactions open up wider market opportunities, increase product exposure, and increase sales and distribution efficiency. However, the risk of personal data leakage always lurks in online transactions. This issue is serious and can compromise consumers' privacy and information security. Data leaks can occur when personal information such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, emails, credit card details and other personal data falls into unauthorized hands. The research aims to explore the protection of consumers' personal data and examine the responsibility of marketplaces in dealing with data leaks. The author uses a normative juridical approach, which includes primary and secondary legal analysis, as well as descriptive analysis to summarize applicable regulations and legal theory related to practice. The results show that Indonesia has Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Protection of Consumer Personal Data to protect personal data. Marketplaces that violate these rules may be subject to administrative sanctions in accordance with applicable regulations, while consumers have the right to file a lawsuit for marketplace negligence in accordance with Article 1366 of the Civil Code.

Abstract

Money laundering is a serious crime that harms the interests of society, causes economic instability in a country, and is more dangerous than corruption because tracking the flow of money from money laundering will be more difficult. Due to this complexity, asset forfeiture becomes crucial because the approach method used is known as "follow the money." This research reviews asset forfeiture in money laundering from a law enforcement perspective. This research evaluates asset confiscation methods in money laundering cases from a law enforcement perspective, aiming to better protect societal interests and prevent criminals from gaining illicit profits. This research is normative or doctrinal, also known as dogmatic research with a conceptual and legislative approach. The findings indicate that, although asset forfeiture has been regulated through criminal prevention actions based on the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code, as well as civil and administrative actions based on the Anti-Money Laundering Act, there are still shortcomings in regulations that allow criminals to hide their illegal gains. It has not achieved justice and harms both the country and the victims of money laundering. To ensure crime doesn't benefit perpetrators, it's essential to expand asset seizure regulations by revising the Anti-Money Laundering Act to include civil seizures and cover all crime-related assets. Strengthening protections for innocent third parties is also necessary to uphold justice.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and the Human Development Index (HDI) in North Maluku Province. The research aims to analyze the influence of HDI, Government Expenditure, Investment, and Labor Force on Economic Growth and the impact of life expectancy, school life expectancy, and per capita expenditure on HDI. The study employs the Two Stage Least Square analysis method using panel data processed through the Eviews application. The results indicate that the HDI, Government Expenditure, and Investment variables significantly affect GRDP, while the Labor Force variable is optional. Meanwhile, the GRDP variable does not substantially affect HDI, but the Life Expectancy, School Life Expectancy, and Per Capita Expenditurea variables significantly impact HDI. The conclusion suggests that economic growth does not necessarily guarantee an improvement in the quality of human resources in North Maluku. The study recommends including additional variables related to GRDP and HDI to better understand their impact in each region.

This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, involving 100 employees as the sample. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires measured using a Likert scale. The collected data was then analyzed using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results show that work motivation and work environment have a significant impact on employee performance. Additionally, job satisfaction was found to partially mediate the effect of work motivation and work environment on employee performance. This means that enhancing work motivation and creating a conducive work environment can increase job satisfaction, which in turn, improves employee performance. Abstract

They are raising international issues related to road maintenance and repair. Road damage occurring in various countries, including cracks, potholes, and surface deformation, significantly impacts transportation safety and efficiency. Many roads in certain regions experience damage, such as cracks, potholes, and surface deformation due to increased traffic loads and extreme weather conditions. This paper aims to analyze road damage in Karamat Village according to Bina Marga standards to identify and understand the causes and effects of such damage. Primary data is collected from field observations at the study site, referred to as primary or first-hand data. The road damage found on Pajaten Road in Karamat Village, Majalengka Regency, includes patches, cracks, disintegration, potholes, and waves. Routine maintenance aims to improve the surface layer quality without increasing structural strength. The Pajaten road section in Karamat Village, Majalengka Regency, has conditions of loose stones, cracks, patches, potholes, and waves. The Directorate General of Highways states that the calculation results have a priority order 10, placing it in the priority group > 7. According to Bina Marga, road damage is addressed through a routine maintenance schedule. Patching is recommended and suggested for repairing road cracks, ruts, and collapses.
