Abstract

The strength of the mechanical and physical properties of particle composite materials is influenced by the volume fraction of the powder and matrix. Fraction variations used are 30:70%, 50:50%, and 70:30% with the hand lay up method. The pretreatment was carried out by soaking 2% NaOH for 1 hour. The results of the MOE treatment mechanical test received the highest test value at the powder volume fraction of 30:70%, which was 6145.51 kgf/cm² and the highest MOR test value at the 30:70% volume fraction, which was 167.38 kgf/cm². Meanwhile, the highest non-treatment MOE value at the 30:70% powder volume fraction was 5540.9 kgf/cm² and the highest MOR test value at the 30:70% volume fraction was 156.6 kgf/cm². The results of the physical properties test were the highest density at the 30:70% powder volume fraction of 0.87 gr/cm³ and the highest density at the 30:70% non-treatment powder volume fraction of 0.78 gr/cm³. The results of the MOE mechanical test do not meet the JIS A 5908-2003 standard while the MOR mechanical test and physical test have met the JIS A 5908- 2003 standard. The results of microstructure testing showed that at a fraction of powder volume of 30:70% it was seen that the particles were coarser which blended perfectly with the matrix. Meanwhile, in the volume fraction of non-treatment powder 30:70% it looks finer particles and powders with a matrix seem to not glue well, this is because of the wax coating on the powder.

Abstract

Sumbawa Regency's traffic volume increases every year as a result of the increase in the number of vehicles. One of the roads that is considered to have quite a large vehicle volume is Jalan Sultan Kaharuddin. To find out these problems, it is necessary to analyze the performance of unsignalized intersections so that the results achieved represent the conditions in the field. This research aims to analyze the performance of unsignalized intersections in Unter Iwes sub-district. Data collection is carried out by conducting surveys in the field to obtain primary data, which will then be processed using the 1997 MKJI method. From the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the Jalan Sultan Kaharuddin intersection has a Saturation Degree (DS) value of 0.50 during the Saturday morning rush hour at 08.00-09.00 WITA, this means that the current condition of the intersection is still adequate and still below 0.75.

Abstract

Penggunaan BIM di indonesia belum maksimal padahal BIM sudah muncul sejak lama di Indonesia. Terkait dengan hal tersebut maka perludilakukan penelitian terkait evaluasi penerapan Building Information Modeling (BIM) pada proyek konstruksi di Sumbawa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana perkembangan pengadopsian Building Information Modeling di Sumbawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data kuantitatif dengan melakukan penyebaran kuisioner. Pelaksanaan proyek di Sumbawa saat ini masih banyak menggunakan perangkat lunak konvesional seperti Autocad untuk desain gambar, Microsoft Excel untuk perhitungan volume dan biaya dan Microsoft Project untuk penjadwalan. Semua masih dilakukan dengan cara yang paper-based dan banyak hal yang akhirnya menjadi sia-sia karena terdapat perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi sepanjang proses konstruksi. Dengan masih digunakannya metode konvensional pada pelaksanaan konstruksi di Sumbawa masih terdapat banyak permasalahan yang terjadi pada pelaksanaan konstruksi.sesuai analisis dapat disimpulkan Implementasi building information modeling di Sumbawa Nusa Tenggara Barat, secara umum masih belum berjalan dengan baik dan masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan. Permasalahan utama yang terjadi adalah belum adanya sinergi antara unsur proyek karena pengguna jasa dan penyedia jasa belum sepenuhnya memahami Building Information Modeling

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the role of geomorphology in analyzing the risk of landslides disasters in a complete and comprehensive manner in the Karanggayam area, Kebumen Regency, Central Java Province, based on threat, vulnerability, resilience, and exposure factors. This research is descriptive in nature, so the data source relies on the results of field observations, which are then supported by data from laboratory analysis. The stages in this research were divided into data acquisition, data analysis, and studio stages. Studies of drainage patterns and geomorphological studies can be used as indicators to analyze the risk of landslides, such as landforms, soil thickness, slope, lithology, land use, and vegetation, as well as other indicators such as population density and rainfall, while indicators of resilience factors and exposure factors such as early warning systems, evacuation routes, health facilities, the economy, road borders, and river borders are part of social, economic, and public health. The risk of landslides in the Karanggayam area has three levels: low, medium, and high.

Abstract

Ruang Publik Kreatif (RPK) is an open area located at the Sumbawa University of Technology (UTS) which is used for many outdoor activities. The RPK Hall was built with steel portal construction so it was deemed necessary to check the strength of the structure to ensure that it had a safe truss structure. Calculations for the truss structure will use the Frame3DD application which is much lighter than other structural calculation applications. This research resulted in a recommendation to replace CNP 100 profile curtains with CNP 150 profile curtains because the installed profile did not comply with the deflection limit and allowable moment limit. 2. Installed truss profile changed from WF250x125x6x9 to WF298x149x5.5x8 on elements 1 and 8, WF200x100x5.5x8 to WF298x149x5.5x8 on elements 2 and 7, WF100x50x5x7 to WF150x75x5x7 on elements 3 and 6, WF10 0x50x5x7 becomes WF125x60x6x8 on elements 4 and 5, and WF250x125x6x9 became WF200x100x5.5x8, and all of them resulted in at least a 29% increase in raw material costs from the initial RPK construction budget.

Abstract

Cost and time are important variables in a construction project. Significant cost and time deviations can indicate poor project management, so there is a need for evaluation and control regarding this matter. In this research, researchers evaluated costs and time using the Earned Value Concept method. Performance evaluation of time and cost was carried out using Microsoft Project. Cost performance using the Earned Value Method means that there is a cost overrun of IDR 1,206,432.85 from the total construction budget plan (overbudget). This is shown by the EAC (Estimate to Complete) value of IDR 11,536,477,946.05 which is greater than the BAC (Budgeted All Construction) value of IDR 11,535,271,513. Performance when using the Earned Value Method has SV values ??in the July-October period showing positive values, namely IDR 175,140,527.07, IDR 175,138,345.20, IDR 175,140,527.07, IDR 32,838,848.83, this value shows that the project was realized faster than planned. Performance based on the schedule productivity index (SPI) in the July period has a value of 1.037894631, August has a value of 1.02648206, September has a value of 1.019104588, and October has a value of 1.002926831. This SPI value shows >1, meaning that the realized work productivity is carried out faster than the planned schedule.

Abstract

Solar Power Plants (PLTS) are electrical power generators that convert solar energy into electrical power. One of the companies engaged in electricity generation is PT. Brilliant Renewable Infrastructure. The problem that often occurs in PLTS is zero power in the combiner box. Zero power is a problem that often occurs which causes the energy produced by the PV module to not be optimal. The aim of this research is to analyze the causes of zero power in the combiner box. One way to find out the factors causing zero waste is to use a Problem Tree. Problem Tree is a methodology/technique used to identify the reasons for a problem. The results showed that the factors causing zero power in the combiner box were three causes, namely the cable gland installation was not tight enough, the DC cable was bitten by rats and the strings were not functioning. The impact of these 3 types of damage can cause zero power so that no electrical voltage is generated

Abstract

Laboratorium Kimia Teknik Industri merupakan laboratorium yang digunakan untuk praktikum sekaligus untuk melakukan produksi beberapa jenis produk kimia dan turunannya, salah satunya adalah detergent pencuci piring. Kegiatan produksi detergent pencuci piring yang berjalan saat ini masih belum baik dari komposisi produk maupun kualitas serta efesiensinya. Untuk mendapatkan tingkat efisien yang diharapkan maka dilakukan pengembangan produk detergen pencuci piring dengan menggunakan metode Value Analysis dan Value Engineering. Value Analysis dan Value Engineering merupakan pendekatan yang berorientasi fungsi dan terorganisir dan terarah untuk menganilisis fungsi-fungsi dari produk, sistem atau proses penyediaan untuk tujuan meningkatkan nilainya (Value) dengan mengidentifikasi dan menghilangkan biaya-biaya yang tidak diperlukan dan mencapai kinerja yang dibutuhkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapati 4 komparasi Teknik yang dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan produk dengan masing-masing nilai Komparasi Teknik 1 sebesar 5 skor, Komparasi Teknik 2 sebesar 0 skor, Komparasi Teknik 3 sebesar 3 skor, Komparasi Teknik 4 sebesar 13 skor. Pengembangan produk detergen pencuci piring direkomendasikan menggunakan Komparasi Teknik ke 4 dengan sifat produk yang terdiri dari 8 bahan baku dan memiliki nilai viskositas di angka 2700 MpAs.

Abstract

As a company that operates in the field of solar power system project development, of course there are many risks at PT Surya Utama Nuansa (SUN Energy), such as during installation and during maintenance. Therefore, employees are required to use personal protective equipment, but based on observations, potential dangers were found in the form of piles of damaged inverters or other materials in random locations and workers lifting solar panels alone, as well as scattered electrical cables. The aim of this research is to provide a solution to reduce the risk of work accidents. The method used in this research is the HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) method. Based on the results of the identification and assessment of potential hazards that have been carried out, there are 5 potential hazards, namely a moderate risk level of 27%, a high risk level of 20%, and an extreme risk level of 53%. And it is known that there is a 40% potential hazard in the work attitude classification. 20% on work procedure classification, and 40% on workplace classification. This shows that potential hazards in workplace classification require more attention in efforts to prevent work accidents. It is hoped that this research will implement health and safety at the PT project site. PP (Persero) has been repaired so that it can minimize the occurrence of work accidents while carrying out activities on the site.

Abstract

Quality is an important indicator of a product. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the field of construction services, Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC), and Investment which is currently expanding its terminal and facilities at Lombok International Airport (BIL). Results Based on the inspection, various Defects were found in the steel such as cracked welded joints, peeling steel paint, thin paint thickness. This will have an impact if the steel roof truss structure is Defective, it will endanger the collapse of the building and the safety of visitors at BIL. Based on this, an analysis is carried out on the work of the steel pipe roof truss structure that occurs in the terminal expansion project and its supporting facilities so that recommendations for improvement can be made. This research was conducted using the Six Sigma method. The result of the research is that the main factor that causes failure is the steel pipe being stepped on during the installation of electrical installations. The proposed improvement to overcome these Defects is to provide ongoing counseling and training programs on worker compliance in carrying out work by the Standard Operating Procedures available in all work processes. It is hoped that by conducting this research, the company can better maintain quality so that the risk of building collapse and safety from incidents cannot be avoided.
