Abstract

This research seeks to identify the connection between the spiritual well-being of Quran teachers and their life satisfaction in Surabaya. The study is quantitative, utilizing Pearson correlation analysis with the aid of SPSS v.26 software. A total of 87 Quran teachers in Surabaya participated. Data was gathered online via Google forms using a Likert scale to evaluate the relationship between spiritual well-being and life satisfaction. The Pearson correlation test results showed a correlation score of 0.714 with p = 0.000 (p <0.05). This demonstrates a significant positive relationship between the spiritual well-being and life satisfaction of Quran teachers. Essentially, a higher level of spiritual well-being in Quran teachers correlates with greater life satisfaction. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan kesejahteraan spiritual yang dimiliki Guru Ngaji dengan kepuasan hidup pada Guru Ngaji di Kota Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan Analisa korelasi Pearson dibantu dengan software SPSS v.26. Penelitian ini diikuti oleh 87 Guru Ngaji di Surabaya. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan secara daring melalui distribusi formulir google dengan menerapkan skala Likert untuk menilai hubungan antara kesejahteraan spiritual dan kepuasan hidup. Hasil dari uji korelasi Pearson memperlihatkan bahwa skor korelasi mencapai 0,714 dengan p=0,000 (p<0,05). Ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang positif signifikan antara kesejahteraan spiritual dan kepuasan hidup pada Guru Ngaji. Dengan kata lain, semakin tinggi tingkat kesejahteraan spiritual Guru Ngaji, maka semakin tinggi pula kepuasan hidup yang dialaminya.

Abstract

Nomophobia merupakan fobia modern, dimana seseorang yang mengalami rasa takut, cemas, ketidaknyamanan bahkan ketakutan yang berlebihan jika tidak terhubung dengan smartphone. Kesepian adalah suatu perasaan yang tidak menyenangkan ketika memiliki hubungan yang sedikit dan tidak memuaskan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kesepian dengan nomophobia pada Siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi. Teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 233 siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas “X” Surabaya. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan skala kesepian dan nomophobia. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kesepian dengan nomophobia pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas “X” Surabaya. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil perhitungan korelasi r Product Moment, dimana rxy = 0,233 dengan signifikansi p = 0,001 < 0,05 artinya semakin tinggi kesepian maka semakin tinggi nomphobia dan sebaliknya semakin rendah kesepian maka semakin rendah nompphobia. Adapun sumbangan efektif dari kesepian mempengaruhi nomophobia sebesar 5%.

Abstract

Kecenderungan nomophobia dapat disebabkan oleh oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya kontrol diri rendah dan penggunaan smartphone yang intens. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kontrol diri dan intensitas penggunaan smartphone pada siswa sekolah menengah atas. Metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan responden 156 siswa yang diambil menggunakan purposive sampling. Penelitian menggunakan skala kontrol diri dikembangkan peneliti dengan nilai cronbach alfa 0, 848 dan skala intensitas penggunaan smartphone dikembangkan peneliti dengan nilai cronbach alfa 0,856 sedangkan skala nomophobia mengadopsi Shalsabilla (2022) dengan nilai Cronbach 0,942. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisi regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan positif. Siswa yang memiliki kontrol diri baik dan menggunakan smartphone secara intens dapat meningkatkan kecenderungan nomophobia siswa sekolah menengah atas.

Abstract

Academic self-efficacy and intensity of social media use affect the level of academic procrastination. This study aims to determine the relationship between both with academic procrastination in high school students. Using a quantitative correlational method, this study involved 233 students of SMA X Surabaya with a purposive sampling technique. The results of the analysis showed a significant relationship between academic self-efficacy and intensity of social media use simultaneously with academic procrastination (F = 52.727; p = 0.000 < 0.05). Partially, there was a significant negative relationship between academic self-efficacy and academic procrastination, as well as between intensity of social media use and academic procrastination. These findings indicate that academic self-efficacy and intensity of social media use can be predictors of academic procrastination behavior in high school students.

Abstract

Abstract Mental health problems in today's life often occur among teenagers, ranging from stress, and depression to frustration in facing various physical trials, demands, and challenges. This study aims to determine the role, impact, and whether Army BTS can solve life's problems. The method used in this study was qualitative with three respondents, data collection was carried out using interviews and observation. The results of this study state that the Army BTS community can be used as a way to voice everything in the form of self-love and provide motivation. The impact of community is on one's mental health, knowing how to deal with one's condition, having friends to share stories with, and helping you get back on your feet. Abstract

Self-efficacy is an individual's belief in their ability to manage actions to achieve goals, while adjustment refers to the individual's capacity to adapt personally and socially to a new environment. This study aims to examine the relationship between self-efficacy and adjustment among migrant workers in Bali. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, involving 115 migrant workers in the Bali area. Data were collected using a self-efficacy scale and an adjustment scale. The data analysis technique used was the Spearman Rho correlation test. The results showed a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy and adjustment among migrant workers in Bali. The higher an individual's self-efficacy, the better their ability to adapt to a new environment. This finding is based on the Spearman Rho correlation coefficient, where rxy = 0.714 with a significance level of p = 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the adjustment, and vice versa. Furthermore, self-efficacy contributed 43% to the variance in adjustment. Self-efficacy adalah keyakinan individu terhadap kemampuannya dalam mengelola tindakan untuk mencapai tujuan, sedangkan penyesuaian diri merupakan kemampuan individu beradaptasi secara pribadi dan sosial di lingkungan baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan penyesuaian diri pada pekerja rantau di Bali. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi. Teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 115 pekerja rantau di wilayah Bali. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan skala self-efficacy dan skala penyesuaian diri. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rho’. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara self-efficacy dengan penyesuaian diri pada pekerja rantau di Bali. Semakin tinggi self-efficacy yang dimiliki individu, maka semakin baik kemampuan mereka dalam menyesuaikan diri dengan lingkungan baru. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil perhitungan korelasi r Spearman Rho’, dimana rxy = 0,714 dengan signifikansi p = 0,000 < 0,05 artinya semakin tinggi self-efficacy maka semakin tinggi penyesuaian diri dan sebaliknya semakin rendah self-efficacy maka semakin rendah penyesuaian diri. Adapun sumbangan efektif dari self-efficacy mempengaruhi penyesuaian diri sebesar 43%.

Abstract

Uncertainty in obtaining decent employment can lead to increased anxiety among university students. This condition is often triggered by intense job market competition, negative perceptions of the professional world, and rising demands for individual qualifications. This study aims to identify the relationship between self-efficacy and career anxiety among undergraduate students in the final stage of their academic studies. A quantitative approach with a correlational research design was employed, involving 129 final-semester students from the undergraduate psychology program at University of 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya, enrolled in the 2018–2019 cohorts during the study period. The instruments used were the Career Anxiety Scale developed by Tsai et al. (2017) and a self-efficacy scale based on the theoretical framework proposed by Bandura (1997). Data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique. The results indicated a strong negative correlation between self-efficacy and career anxiety. Higher levels of self-efficacy were associated with lower levels of career-related anxiety. Self-efficacy accounted for 40.45% of the variance in career anxiety, suggesting a substantial influence. Ketidakpastian mendapat pekerjaan yang layak dapat menyebabkan munculnya kecemasan di kalangan mahasiswa, yang dipicu oleh persaingan kerja yang semakin ketat, pandangan negatif terhadap dunia kerja, serta meningkatnya tuntutan terhadap kualifikasi individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan kecemasan karir pada mahasiswa yang berada pada tahap akhir studi sarjana. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional pada 129 mahasiswa semester akhir program studi sarjana psikologi Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya yang terdaftar pada angkatan 2018-2019 selama masa periode penelitian Instrumen pengukuran penelitian ini menggunakan career anxiety scale yang dikembangkan Tsai, et al (2017) dan skala efikasi diri merujuk konsep teoritis oleh Bandura (1997). Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan efikasi diri berhubungan erat dengan kecemasan karir. Semakin tinggi tingkat efikasi diri maka akan semakin rendah kecemasan karir pada mahasiswa. Efikasi diri memiliki pengaruh dengan kecemasan karir sebesar 40,45% menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang kuat.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between self-control and cyberslacking among high school students in Surabaya. Students' low self-control is a challenge in suppressing deviant internet use behavior during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which self-control is related to deviant behavior (cyberslacking) in students. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. A total of 345 high school students in Surabaya became respondents using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire with a scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. Abstract

An ideal educational atmosphere should foster noble values, both for children who attend Islamic boarding schools and Those that don't, prosocial behavior can make a big difference, such as a decrease in the quality of interactions, social skills, increased individuality and lack of social awareness. This study's objective is to clarify the connection between prosocial behavior and empathy. With a sample of 227 students and a population of 650 pupils, This research employs a quantitative methdology. Purposive sampling was the data collection technique used in this study. The researcher's own empathy scale, which has a Cronbachalphavalue of0.870, and a prosocial behavior scale, which was taken from Albab (2023), both have a Cronbachalphavalueof0.929. Spearmanrhoanalysis was employed in the data analysis method. The study's findings suggest that prosocial conduct and empathy are positively correlated. Suasana pendidikan yang ideal hendaknya menumbuhkan nilai-nilai luhur, baik bagi anak yang bersekolah di pondok pesantren maupun yang tidak, perilaku prososial dapat memberikan dampak yang cukup signifikan, seperti menurunnya kualitas interaksi, keterampilan sosial, meningkatnya individualitas dan kurangnya kesadaran sosial. Tujuan penelitianini ialah untuk memperjelas hubungan antaraempati dengan perilakuprososial. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif dengan populasi yang terdiri dari 650 siswa dan sampel sebanyak 227 siswa. Metode pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik pemilihan sampel secara sengaja atau purposive sampling, yang disesuaikan dengan tujuan dan kriteria tertentu.. Skala yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala perilaku prososial yang diadopsi dari Albab (2023) dengan nilai alphacronbach sebesar0,929, serta skala empati yang dikembangkan sendiri oleh peneliti dengan nilai alphacronbach sebesar 0,870. Penelitian ini menerapkan analisis korelasiSpearmanrho sebagai metode untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara empati dengan perilaku prososial.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has facilitated people's shopping activities, especially through e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Tokopedia, and TikTok Shop. This convenience has triggered an increase in consumer behavior, particularly among students aged 18–21 who are in the phase of searching for identity and the need for social recognition. One psychological factor believed to play a role in consumer behavior is self-esteem. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and consumer behavior in online product purchases among students in Surabaya City. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The subjects were students aged 18–21, and data were collected using a self-esteem scale and a consumer behavior scale. Data analysis was carried out using correlation analysis. The results of the study indicate a relationship between self-esteem and consumer tendencies in online shopping. These findings provide an overview of the role of psychological factors in shaping student consumption patterns and serve as a basis for efforts to develop self-management education and healthy consumption among the younger generation.
