The term community service refers to activities that utilize relevant science and technology to advance the welfare of the community and educate the nations life. This journal publishes articles with topics such as theoretical innovations or methods or strategies for implementing community service activities, community service management innovations, university-community partnership strengthening programs, as well as other topics related to the impact and best practices in the implementation of community service to society. Praxis accepts article submissions from all over the world. All accepted articles will be published for payment of an article processing fee, and will be available free of charge to all readers with worldwide visibility and coverage. Praxis accepts article manuscripts with the following types Research Article: contains a quantitative, qualitative, or combination method study that shows the impact of community service projects on local communities, students, lecturers, or institutions. Reflective Essays contain sharp reflections on current issues or ideas related to community service based on literature. Projects with Prospects contains a description of the early stages of a community service project with an initial indication of its impact long-term evaluation plan a plan for how the project will remain sustainable; and best practices for readers to emulate. Book Reviews contains reviews of books related to community service which are more than just content descriptions, in order to analyze and extract their implications for theory and practice.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase the marketing of MSMEs "Usus Usus Reog" through branding campaigns using the Instagram platform and brand awareness. The methods used include initial surveys, community education, training, product logo creation, and digital marketing support. The results showed a significant increase in MSME Instagram account followers, the use of brand-related hashtags, and higher follower engagement. Although the direct impact on sales cannot be accurately measured, the benefits of this approach in strengthening brand recognition and building better relationships with customers can be seen. A comprehensive approach that includes education and training, in addition to brand promotion, has a significant positive impact. Therefore, we recommend continuing and expanding education and training efforts for MSME owners so that they become more proficient in utilizing the potential of Instagram and other media platforms.

Abstract

The foundation of a children's personality will be built perfectly because of the education they received in childhood. Parents carry out an educational role with positive and effective patterns of action or parenting. Family involvement in a child's education is a must. The form of education in the family is nurturing. Parenting is closely related to parents' ability to provide attention, time and support to meet physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual needs. The environment greatly influences children's development, especially in the family, because the family is the beginning of education and the formation of people in society who are responsible for the continuity of generations. The aim of religious activities in Educating Children in the Modern Era from an Islamic Perspective is to form good character or morals by instilling moral values, behavior and speech in children in the modern era and to improve the quality of parents in terms of education. children in the modern era from an Islamic perspective. The method used in this community service activity is a sociological and psychological approach. This activity was carried out in Garurejo hamlet, Gongseng village, Megaluh sub-district, Jombang district. This activity was attended by 66 Yasin Tahlil congregations and religious and community leaders in Garurejo hamlet. This target is determined based on the needs and objectives of Islamic Parenting activities, namely the mothers of the Yasin Tahlil congregation in Garurejo hamlet. The results of this activity are that with this program it is hoped that parents will understand more about the knowledge of educating children in the modern era. Parents and children can apply the material explained by the presenter in their daily lives.

Abstract

This dedication is motivated by the potential and persistence of children in learning religion, which has not been further sheltered by institutions engaged in the religious field. This is the main reason students do community service by developing the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) at the Nurul Huda Gading Kasri prayer room, Malang. This service activity aims to increase religious insight in early childhood through several learning methods. This service activity uses the tahsin method, story telling, learning by singing and role playing. Target achievements in empowering and assisting TPQ Nurul Huda through learning religious worship to increase the quality of education and shape the Islamic character of students. So it is hoped that this empowerment and mentoring program can help TPQ Nurul Huda become a legal institution and continue to grow.

Abstract

Big changes in the relationships of today's teenagers are caused by the ease of communicating via social media which is growing very rapidly. Delinquency can also cause problems in the family, community and work environment, if children are involved in delinquency it will have an impact on the child's educational and academic achievements. The low level of education in the family causes teenagers to be easily influenced by promiscuity. The most important level of education there is religious education. Parents who do not supervise closely cause teenagers to fall into traps without knowing whether it is true or not.The impact of promiscuity is freedom from free sex and HIV-AIDS. HIV is a very dangerous disease, because this disease is very dangerous for our health. especially for the nation's next generation.Apart from promiscuous sex during adolescence, HIV-AIDS can be self-destructive and have an impact on the structure of family life, the community environment and the school environment, and even directly or indirectly pose a threat to the continuity of development and the future of our beloved nation and state. Teenagers and children who are students need education about the dangers of free sex and drug use, remembering that basically teenagers have a high sense of curiosity and always want to try new things that can be obtained from this information and if this is not accompanied by supervision, guidance and direction from various parties. This community service will be carried out on , Thursday June 15 2023, 09.00 – 11.00 WIB at the MTS Negeri Semarang Mosque. This activity was attended by 70 participants, namely class 8. The activity was coordinated by the service team leader assisted by the school principal and office staff. The activities in this community service take the form of education about the dangers of promiscuity and free sex. After being given counseling about the dangers of promiscuity and free sex, the 32 students present were able to answer questions about the dangers of promiscuity and free sex.

Abstract

PAMSIMAS merupakan sebuah program dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan akses masyarakat terhadap air minum dan sanitasi yang layak. Program ini fokus pada pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam mengelola dan memelihara sarana air minum dan sanitasi di tingkat local. Program PAMSIMAS berfokus pada partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam setiap tahap, mulai dari perencanaan hingga pemeliharaan fasilitas. Dengan melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif, program ini juga berupaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di daerah-daerah terpencil dan pedesaan. Bangunan penampung air atau tandon PAMSIMAS Desa Sumari merupakan salah satu contoh fasilitas umum yang dibangun untuk penyediaan kebutuhan air bersih di Desa Sumari. Berdasarkan hasil survey lapangan dan koordinasi yang dilakukan dengan Mitra PKM, ditemukan beberapa fasilitas yang terkait dengan penyediaan air bersih yang perlu diperbaiki. Perbaikan yang akan dilakukan adalah perbaikan perangkat otomasi mesin pompa air di salah satu tandon PAMSIMAS. Karena penyediaan air yang ada saat ini belum memenuhi standar. Tindakan perbaikan yang dilakukan meliputi perbaikan pada perangkat otomasi dan jaringan kelistrikan pada mesin pompa air.

Abstract

Peraturan Desa ditetapkan oleh Kepala Desa setelah dibahas dan disepakati bersama Badan Permusyawaratan Desa merupakan kerangka hukum dan kebijakan dalam penyelenggaraan Pemerintahan Desa dan Pembangunan Desa. Penetapan Peraturan Desa merupakan penjabaran atas berbagai kewenangan yang dimiliki Desa mengacu pada ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan yang lebih tinggi. Sehingga sebagai sebuah produk hukum, Peraturan Desa tidak boleh bertentangan dengan peraturan yang lebih tinggi dan tidak boleh merugikan kepentingan umum. Berdasrkan observasi di lapangan, hingga saat ini masih banyak para penyelenggara desa (Kepala Desa dan Badan Permusyawaratan Desa) dan masyarakat desa yang belum memiliki pengetahuan dan keahlian dalam penyusunan peraturan perundang-undangan. Jika tidak diatasi sejak awal, hal ini dapat berpotensi memengaruhi kelancaran implementasi Undang-Undang tentang Desa, dan bahkan tidak menutup kemungkinan akan menimbulkan kekosongan hukum. Tujuan dari Pelatihan ini di antara lain: (1) Memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang pentingnya Pembentukan Peraturan desa dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas dan pengembangan aparatur pemerintahan desa; (2) Memberikan penjelasan tentang berbagai macam metode yang dapat dipakai dan digunakan dalam rangka Pembentukan Peraturan desa; dan (3) Memberikan pengetahuan tentang pembuatan Pembentukan Peraturan desa yang benar dan sesuai dengan prinsipprinsip Ilmu Perundang-undangan. Pengabdian Masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Desa Sukorejo, Kecamatan Kebomas, Kabupaten Gresik ini memakai metode: ceramah, dialog dan diskusi dengan tema “Pelatihan Penyusunan Peraturan Desa Bagi Aparatur Pemerintahan Desa’’ selanjutnya di lanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab untuk memperoleh hasil dan solusi sebagai bentuk pemecahan dan kendala yang dihadapi. Berdasarkan hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini, dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (1) peserta pelatihan dapat mampu memahami dan mengetahui mekanisme penyusunan peraturan desa; dan (2) dan adanya persamaan persepsi serta peningkatan Kerjasama yang bersinergi antara perangkat Desa dengan BPD dalam menyusun peraturan desa.

Abstract

The implementation of community service activities aims to identify businesses engaged in the craft of traditional children's toys. This activity is useful for improving business understanding in financial management for micro business actors. The method used is to provide education to business owners through training and socialization in financial planning in order to obtain the maximum possible profit. The object of the service activity is one of the traditional children's toy handicraft businesses located in Kepanjen District. During the implementation of the service, we found problems in the field of financial management, namely strategies to increase profits that are still minimal. From these problems, the service team provided education on profit maximization strategies for these UMKM. This education includes the delivery of knowledge on strategies in maximizing profits, training in making financial reports. The results of this service activity are very beneficial for increasing income for UMKM and knowing the importance of strategies or how to calculate good and correct profits.

Abstract

Training in the field of 3D Modeling using Blender has been completed for students at Methodist-8 Medan High School (SMA). The aim of this training is to provide basic understanding and skills in creating and designing animated 3D objects that can be expressed in real visual form, both in terms of shape, texture and size of the object using the Blender design tool. This training method includes several practical stages focusing on the introduction of Blender 3D, basic concepts of 3D animation, design, 3D measurements, framework and modeling, texturing and visualization. The students were given a step-by-step 3D Modeling learning guide and were guided directly on how to create and design animated 3D objects until completion by forming group teams to hone their skills in improving their creativity and understanding of the art of design that is responsive and has aesthetic value. The results of this training showed a 90% increase in students' understanding in learning the basic concepts of 3D animation with practical design tools using Blender. They were able to produce simple 3D modeling designs with good animated 3D objects, appropriate textures so that the resulting objects looked real, then implemented the results of their designs in the form of animating character visualizations and 100% response from the students requested that this training be continued in the activity session next period of community service.
