Abstract

This study aims to analyze the spatial distribution patterns of Tuberculosis (TB) cases and identify the contributing risk factors in the working area of UPTD Medan Satria Health Center. TB remains a serious public health problem in Indonesia due to its high transmission rate and increasing number of cases. The study employed a descriptive quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach, involving 55 TB patients recorded throughout 2024. Data were collected through field observation, documentation from the SIMPUS information system, and analyzed using QGIS software to produce spatial maps. The findings revealed that RW 009 had the highest number of TB cases. This area also had very high population density and limited access to healthcare facilities. Population density and limited access to health services were found to influence TB distribution, while smoking behavior did not show a significant relationship. Therefore, spatial analysis proves useful in identifying priority intervention areas and designing more effective and targeted TB prevention and control strategies in the community.

Abstract

In the modern era, recreation and tourism have become essential needs that support people's quality of life. Accommodations such as hotels and resorts play a key role in providing tourist comfort. This study examines the rights and obligations of tourists under agreements with hotels, possible forms of breach of contract, and dispute resolution mechanisms between tourists and Kedas Hotel and Resort. The method used is a normative juridical approach to study legal norms and an empirical approach through interviews with relevant sources. The results indicate that tourists have the right to services according to booking information, security, cleanliness, and additional amenities such as breakfast. Conversely, tourists are obliged to make payments on time and maintain order during their stay. Fulfilling these rights and obligations can prevent breach of contract. If breach of contract does occur, resolution can be achieved through mediation and litigation mechanisms. This study recommends that the legal team at Kedas Hotel and Resort increase education for prospective tourists regarding their rights and obligations throughout the booking process and their stay to minimize disputes.

Abstract

Electric energy is important in human life, because almost all activities use electronic devices. Kiosks also have use of electrical energy. Small kiosks that can move around are not suitable for kWh meters (Grid). The solution is to utilize alternative energy in the form of Solar Power Plant, an independent energy producer by converting sunray into electric energy. Before system is built, planning is needed to get a reliable system. Method used to plan this system is R&D (Research & Development). The process includes: relevant studies, site(location) selection, load and energy consumption estimation, system design, component rating calculation, selection of components, design revisions, compiling budget plan, as well as conducting economic calculations. Planning results for a system with a load of 260 Watts and daily energy consumption of 1.1 kWh, system require 3 PV panels of 350 Wp, SCC rating 96V 60A max input with max power of 1440Watt at 24V, inverter 24/220V 50Hz with 1000Watt continuous and 2000Watt maximum power, battery bank with capacity of 300Ah 24V. System is feasible and profitable because it has a payback period (PP) value < PV panel lifetime, as well as an RoI (Return on Investment) percentage value of +11% profit.

Abstract

This study analyzes the operational framework of PT. CKK in providing accurate and reliable security equipment repair and maintenance services through the integration of process design, technology, and supply chain management. Using a mixed approach involving case studies, document analysis, stakeholder interviews, field observations, and service flow simulations, the study developed a service blueprint that includes repair processes, preventive maintenance, and the application of technologies such as AI/Analytics for damage prediction, GPS-integrated CRM, blockchain for supply chain transparency, and custom testing tools. The results show that this strategy is able to optimize service efficiency, minimize operational downtime, and ensure compliance with international standards (TSA and ECAC). However, limitations such as the theoretical nature of the implementation of advanced technologies, reliance on the quality of historical data, and high investment burden need to be addressed. Managerial implications recommend strengthening data infrastructure, gradual technology adoption, e-learning-based HR training, supplier diversification, and expansion to the latest generation of security systems. This research provides practical guidance for security equipment maintenance service companies to improve service reliability while supporting market penetration in Indonesia through a combination of technical innovation and measurable operational management. The validation findings through limited simulations and focus group discussions also emphasized the importance of a balance between technological innovation and adaptation to operational limitations in the field
