Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh air kelapa, pestisida nabati kulit bawang putih, dan interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) pada tahap pre-nursery. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Jalan Platina III, Lingkungan XIII, Kelurahan Titi Papan, Kecamatan Medan Deli, Sumatera Utara, dengan ketinggian tempat 37,5 mdpl, mulai bulan Desember 2024 hingga selesai. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dua faktor, yaitu air kelapa (A0 = kontrol, A1 = 100 ml, A2 = 200 ml) dan pestisida nabati kulit bawang putih (B0 = kontrol, B1 = 50 ml/L, B2 = 100 ml/L) dengan tiga ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian Air kelapa berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan diameter batang dan luas daun. Perlakuan pestisida kulit bawang putih hanya berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan jumlah daun dan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, diameter batang dan luas daun, Interaksi antara kedua perlakuan tidak menunjukkan pengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun dan luas daun Kata kunci: Air kelapa, pestisida nabati kulit bawang putih, kelapa sawit, pre- nursery

Abstract

Pertumbuhan tanaman kelapa sawit dengan pemberian Vermikompos dan Ekstrak Tomat. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Jalan Platina III, Lingkungan XIII, Kelurahan Titi Papan, pada bulan Desember 2024 sampai dengan Maret 2025. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor perlakuan, Faktor pertama Vermikompos terdiri dari 3 taraf perlakuan, yaitu V0 = Tanpa vermikompos (Hanya Topsoil) V1 = 80 gr /polybag, dan V2 =160 gr/polybag. Faktor kedua, yakni Ekstrak tomat dengan tiga taraf perlakuan, yaitu T0= 0 ml/l, T1 = 10 ml/l, dan T2 = 20 ml/l. Parameter yang diamati yaitu Diameter Batang (mm), Tinggi Tanaman (cm), Luas Daun (cm2) dan Jumlah Daun. Pada penelitian ini, perlakuan Vermikompos berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan diameter batang, jumlah daun, dan luas daun, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman. Perlakuan Ekstrak tomat hanya berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan jumlah daun, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, dan luas daun. Interaksi antara perlakuan Vermikompos dan Ekstrak tomat tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan diameter batang, tinggi tanaman, luas daun, dan jumlah daun. Kata kunci: kelapa sawit, vermikompos, ekstrak tomat, pre nursery

Abstract

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology offers significant opportunities for transforming instructional media in elementary schools; however, its implementation often lacks a strong theoretical foundation. This study aims to conceptualize VIVO (Visual Interactive Virtual Object) as a novel learning framework for elementary science education to bridge students’ understanding of abstract concepts. In this study, VIVO is positioned not as a commercial representation, but as a conceptual paradigm in learning design. VIVO is defined as a learning concept based on intelligent digital media that integrates dynamic visualization, precise interactivity, and adaptive virtual objects to facilitate students’ active and contextual construction of conceptual understanding. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method using content analysis and a literature review that synthesizes theories of multimedia learning, cognitive load, and constructivism. The findings indicate that the VIVO concept consists of four main components: AI-supported dynamic visualization, guided interactivity, contextual virtual objects, and adaptive visual scaffolding. From a theoretical perspective, VIVO has the potential to reduce extraneous cognitive load and enhance students’ active engagement through interactive manipulation of virtual representations. In conclusion, this study provides a theoretical foundation for the development of intelligent digital learning media that function not merely as tools for information delivery, but as instruments for knowledge construction. These findings imply the need for a paradigm shift in instructional media design toward more interactive and adaptive learning environments. The proposed VIVO framework is expected to serve as a basis for future research and development (R&D) studies to empirically examine its effectiveness in improving students’ science learning outcomes in real classroom settings.
