Abstract

This study aims to design the user interface (UI) of a health application at The Seven Gym to promote users' physical and psychological balance. A qualitative approach was applied using the design thinking method, identifying user needs through the stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The study's findings show that a UI design incorporating sensory aspects, such as color and graphics, can enhance users' experience in tracking their health. The application is expected to motivate a healthier lifestyle overall, supporting physical health targets and mental well-being aligned with The Seven Gym vision and contributing to the goals of the sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Abstract

Recognize that speaking is an essential ability for effective communication. This study investigates at the five major components of speaking performance in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students. Specifically, to examine the levels of grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension among EFL learners. The study uses qualitative descriptive research to provide a thorough grasp of students' speaking abilities. The data show that pronunciation is the strongest component, which can be linked to students' regular exposure to English through music, whereas vocabulary is the lowest, affecting overall fluency and comprehension. Conclusion: Pronunciation and comprehension are generally well developed, but vocabulary limitations considerably impair speaking performance. This study suggests introducing vocabulary-building strategies and interactive speaking activities into the curriculum. Also, establishing an immersive English-speaking atmosphere.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi kombinasi energi terbarukan di daerah pedesaan Sulawesi Selatan guna menciptakan desa mandiri energi yang berkelanjutan dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada energi fosil. Metode tinjauan pustaka ini mengumpulkan, menganalisis, dan mensintesis literatur tentang kontribusi energi terbarukan dalam mengurangi emisi karbon. Penelusuran dan seleksi literatur dilakukan dari berbagai sumber ilmiah, diikuti oleh analisis, sintesis temuan, dan identifikasi kesenjangan penelitian, dengan fokus pada kebijakan dan tantangan implementasi di Indonesia. Hasil karya ini potensi energi terbarukan di Indonesia, terutama tenaga surya, angin, dan biomassa, sangat besar. Meskipun implementasi proyek seperti desa mandiri energi dan co-firing biomassa menunjukkan dampak positif, pengembangan masih terkendala biaya investasi, infrastruktur, dan dukungan kebijakan. Teknologi seperti smart grid menunjukkan potensi efisiensi energi, namun penerapannya terbatas. Dengan dukungan yang tepat, energi terbarukan dapat signifikan mengurangi emisi karbon dan mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The long-running war between Israel and Iran creates economic and political uncertainty, which can impact international financial markets, commodity prices and investment flows. To compare their results, we use the meta-analysis method in this article. The available data shows that the Israel-Iran conflict affects global portfolio investment management.

Abstract

Campuran aspal dapat dimodifikasi dengan menambahkan berbagai jenis bahan, seperti bahan kimia, bahan alami, atau limbah industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh substitusi filler dari limbah abu bonggol jagung pada campuran AC-WC melalui pengujian Marshall. Variasi kadar aspal yang digunakan adalah 5,5% dan 6%, dengan kadar abu bonggol jagung sebesar 1%, 2%, dan 3%. Hasil uji Marshall menunjukkan bahwa substitusi abu bonggol jagung memberikan hasil tertinggi pada setiap karakteristik sebagai berikut: stabilitas 935,72 kg pada kadar abu 3% dengan kadar aspal 6%, flow 4,63 mm pada kadar abu 2% dengan kadar aspal 6%, VMA 19,94% pada kadar abu 1% dengan kadar aspal 6%, VIM 4,63% pada kadar abu 2% dengan kadar aspal 6%, VFB 81,75% pada kadar abu 3% dengan kadar aspal 6%, dan Marshall Quotient sebesar 280,69 kg/mm pada kadar abu 2% dengan kadar aspal 6%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan abu bonggol jagung sebagai filler pada variasi kadar 1%, 2%, dan 3% masih sesuai dengan standar Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga 2018 Revisi 2.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is a tool for and interaction in the school environment. The phenomenon at SMAN 4 Jambi City, students with low interpersonal communication skills such as students who close themselves off when discussing in class or counseling, are withdrawn, nervous when communicating, act indifferent and use dirty words when speaking. This research aims to reveal the influence of providing brainstorming technique group guidance services on students' interpersonal communication. This type of quantitative research, semi-experimental one group pretest-posttest method. The research population was class XI students. The number of samples was 8 with a purposive sampling technique, the data was processed using SPSS version26. The research results before treatment were 96 and after treatment were 107.8. The t-test result for t-count is 5,569 which is greater than t-table 2,306. Thus, group guidance services using brainstorming techniques can influence the level of interpersonal communication of students at SMAN 4 Jambi City

Abstract

This research aims also to study the application of GOS management in Surabaya as eco green tourism in the reference to bamboo forest and Harmony Park. This green area is urban green spaces and tourist attraction which potentially reduce pollutions provide recreational space and increase the quality of life of the resident community. This research is qualitative and uses the observation method, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The key informants are field officers and managers of the park surrounding the Park Department of Hygiene and Green Open Space (DHGOS). The outcomes of the research demonstrate different DHGOS' in terms of green space management, such as behaviors of visitors who do not keep the environment clean, facilities that are damaged due to misuse, and limitations in financing for maintenance work. To overcome these challenges DHGOS utilizes sustainable greening projects, well-organized spaces, and regular facility & equipment monitoring & maintaining the facility & equipment. This management optimization is projected to strengthen the importance of bamboo forests and harmony parks as educational tourist items and sustainable green open spaces. The report suggests more visitor education and government assistance in finance as measures towards more successful green space management.

Abstract

Abstract Roads are one of the important infrastructure that is needed in a region's transportation system. This research aims to identify damage that occurs on road pavement. The analysis method uses the Bina Marga method. The Bina Marga Method is a method of assessing road pavement conditions by visually surveying the condition of the road pavement. This method carried out a 12 hour field survey in Buladu Village, Gorontalo City, Jalan Rambutan District. West City, from Monday to Sunday.   The research results show that the road damage found on the Jalan Rambutan road section is the most dominant type of road damage, namely the type of crocodile crack damage of 7 m². With calculation analysis using the Bina Marga method, the Priority Order value is 6 based on table 1. This value is included in the Order category. Priority >6. In this category, the road is included in the periodic maintenance program. Keyword: Road, Road Damege,Traffic volume

Abstract

Drug evidence management is an important part of the law enforcement process, as it aims to maintain the authenticity and integrity of the evidence. In this context, things like improper handling, inadequate storage, and the risk of loss or damage to evidence during the trial process are common causes of evidence shrinkage. The purpose of this study is to determine how the mechanism for managing drug evidence so that it does not shrink during the trial in court and what challenges are faced in managing drug evidence that can cause shrinkage, and how to solve them. The type of research used is normative research that examines the concept of law and legislation in Indonesia. how to solve them. The type of research used is normative research that examines the concept of law and legislation in Indonesian. The data used are secondary data, consisting of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The methods used in this study include literature studies, interviews with authorities, and analysis of existing policies. Research shows that effective management requires a strict documentation system, intense supervision, and training for employees working in the management of evidence. Establishment of clear standard operating procedures (SOPs), increased collaboration between agencies, and use of information technology for tracking evidence. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that by using this method, the management of drug evidence is expected to be maintained and not damaged during the trial. In addition, with better regulation, drug evidence can be maintained properly until the trial stage. The result will be better law enforcement and better justice.

Abstract

The position of the Public Prosecutor in the criminal justice system is very important as a representative of the state in law enforcement. The main role of the Prosecutor is to prosecute criminal cases that occur, ensuring that justice is served and the public is protected from criminal acts. As the party responsible for the prosecution, the prosecutor plays a role in collecting evidence, preparing charges, and presenting arguments in court. In carrying out their duties, the Public Prosecutor must uphold the principles of justice, transparency and accountability. They have an obligation to not only pursue punishment for defendants, but also to protect individual rights and ensure that the judicial process is conducted fairly. This includes the obligation to objectively evaluate whether the available evidence is sufficient to prove the defendant's guilt. Prosecutors also play a role in the mediation process and settling cases outside of court, providing alternatives that can reduce the burden on the justice system. In this context, the position of prosecutors is very strategic, because they are between the public interest and the rights of the defendant. Therefore, Public Prosecutors must have high integrity, good analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the law to carry out this role effectively and be responsive to developing social dynamics. Through this position, the Public Prosecutor contributes to building public trust in the criminal justice system.
