Abstract

Islamic education serves as a cornerstone in transmitting religious beliefs, values, and practices within Muslim communities globally. In contemporary times, the landscape of Islamic education is evolving to address the complex challenges posed by modernity, globalization, and diverse educational paradigms. Moreover, Islamic education is not confined to formal institutions but extends to informal settings such as family, community, and digital spaces. Thus, a holistic approach to Islamic education involves collaboration among various stakeholders, including educators, parents, religious leaders, and policymakers, to ensure a comprehensive and integrated learning experience. This abstract presents a synthesis of key themes and considerations within the discourse of Islamic education. Islamic education in the Netherlands today reflects the broader context of multiculturalism, integration, and religious diversity within Dutch society. Because of the constitutional freedom of education in the Netherlands, everyone can set up a school and is entitled to full state funding. There are currently 52 Islamic primary schools, with about 12,500 students mostly of Turkish and Moroccan descent. They focus on the development of Islamic religious identity, and high quality of education as well as student achievements.

Abstract

This research departs from the phenomenon of Arabic teachers who internalize character education values in Arabic language learning as an effort to prevent demoralization and moral decadence among students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Khairiyah Pontang. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach, by trying to construct reality and understand something hidden behind phenomena that are visible on the surface. The results of the research show that the internalization of character education values in Arabic language learning is going well. The application of character education values carried out by Arabic language learning teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Khairiyah Pontang is very complete, not only regarding the value of honesty, but also related to how they become children who are always used to living disciplined, frugal, thinking critically, behave qanaah, be tolerant, care about the environment, not be arrogant, optimistic, independent, democratic, love the country, care for the environment, care for the social, love of peace, national spirit, be productive, and other characters that are reflected in learning activities.

Abstract

What matters most about a person is their religious character. Developing one's religious character is an ongoing process that requires context. Character education, then, needs to start early so that it can take root and grow. Childhood is a wonderful time when children's minds are open and susceptible to new ideas, and as parents and teachers, we hope that all of our children have healthy brain development and grow into happy and successful people. Being well-rounded encompasses not only intellectual prowess and the ability to express oneself clearly, but also a robust spiritual intelligence that can be developed by early exposure to religious values, including regular prayer. Examining the practices of religious character development in the classroom at SPS Bougenvil in Ciracap Regency is the primary goal of this research. In this qualitative research method, a case study methodology is utilized. The location of the study was SPS Bougainvillea in the Ciracap District of the Sukabumi Regency in West Java. A total of ten first-year PAUD SPS Bougenvil students served as study participants. Previous studies' findings don't seem to be applicable; so, habituation and ongoing education are necessary to help kids become accustomed to it in their daily lives.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative study that aims to describe and explain how the performance of certified lecturers in implementing an active learning PAIKEMI model that takes place in the lecture process. This research took place at the Islamic State University of Antasari Banjarmasin, especially at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Keguruan, and targeted Islamic courses. The data collection process was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. In the first stage, data would be taken by observing how certified lecturers deliver their lectures in the classroom and then initiating interviews and questionnaires with them as well as with students to capture how their perceptions during lectures take place in the second stage. The third stage was analyzing the lesson plans (RPS) that lecturers have made before entering the classroom. The results of this study were as follows: 1) A large number of lecturers were already aware of contextual-based learning methods such as giving students the freedom to discuss, making the physical environment of the classroom conducive, and conducting periodic evaluations, all of which are felt to increase student motivation and trigger student creativity. 2) There were some lecturers who still implement traditional modes during lectures such as the lecture method, which is very monotonous for students so they have limited opportunities to actively participate during lectures.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal the morals of children aged 9-12 years, especially in Bindang Hamlet, Kartiasa Village. Parents also use several methods to educate children's morals. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature and uses data collection techniques by interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show: 1. Children's morals are polite and respect their elders and there are also children who like to say bad things to friends and other people; 2. Parents' method of educating children's morals is by using the Advice Method, Habituation Method, and Exemplary Method; 3. Factors inhibiting parents from educating children's morals are negative relationships at home, lack of parental attention to children, and technology. Supporting factors include support from family and a good environment.

Abstract

One approach to improving children's social competence is to use the method of playing catch-up, which is chosen because it can help improve children's social competence, understanding, and self-confidence. social and social communication. This type of research is a collaborative learning study that used the Kemmis and McTaggart models. Ten students from B SPS Mekar Karya IV Babakan Baru in Kecamatan Ciracap, Kabupaten Sukabumi, consisting of five boys and five girls, are the subjects of this research. The three dimensions of social competence social empathy, social understanding, and social communicationmake up the research object here, which is children's interpersonal competence. Observation and documentation are the data collection methods used. Observation and documentation tools are utilised. Data analysis is carried out using quantitative descriptive methods. The study's success will be indicated when the percentage cutoff shows that 75% of the children experience an increase in interpersonal competence using the method of playing catch. In the presence of play, the results of the study show that children's interpersonal competence increases. The percentage of interpersonal competence revealed by the data did not change when the observation was conducted. Out of the total number of children, 2 (or 10%) met the BB criteria, 13 (or 65%) met the MB criteria, 5 (or 25%) met the 25% criteria, and 0% met the BSS criteria. After the first cycle of testing is completed, there are 2 children with 20% meeting the MB criteria, 4 children with 40% meeting the BSH criteria, 4 children with 40% meeting the BSB criteria, and in the second cycle, 1 child with 10% meeting the BSH criteria and 9 children with 90% meeting the BSB criteria undergo an increase. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mind mapping method on physics learning outcomes. This research was conducted at Al-Masthuriyah Senior High School (SMA), Sukabumi Regency on the concept of dynamic electricity. This research was conducted for five meetings, starting from September 4-25, 2023. The research method used was quasi experiment with purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were test instruments in the form of multiple choice questions as many as 26 items and non-test instruments in the form of a questionnaire of student perceptions of mind mapping in physics learning. The data from the instrument results were analyzed by statistical tests in the form of t-tests, while the data from the questionnaire non-test instruments were analyzed qualitatively descriptively. The results showed that there was an influence on physics learning outcomes by using mind mapping. This conclusion is based on the results of hypothesis testing using t-test. Based on the hypothesis testing, the t-count value is 2.07, and the t-table value at the 5% significance level is 2.008. Thus, it can be seen that t-count > t-table, so the null hypothesis is rejected. In addition to the t-test, the effect of mind mapping can also be seen from the average value of the pretest, which is 26.51 which increases in the average value of the posttest, which is 71.37.

Abstract

This researcher aims to: (1) To find out how the tartil method is applied in improving the Juz Amma reading ability of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Mekar Karya III, Ciracap District. (2) To find out the results of applying the tartil method in improving the ability to read Juz Amma in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Mekar Karya III, Ciracap District. This type of research is classroom action research. The data sources in this research are parents and teachers. The subjects in this research were 15 children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Mekar Karya III, Ciracap District. The data collection techniques used in this research are: observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a subjective test, where the educator's imagination is realized through exhibitions, meetings and perceptions. The results of this research concluded that in the implementation process it was seen that 15 students in cycle I showed very good development (BSB). The learning pattern in cycle II has reached the benchmark for research success with a percentage of Developing According to Expectations (BSH) of 33% and Developing Very Well (BSB) of 40% to 73%, therefore the action ends in the implementation of cycle II.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to document the methods used by preschool teachers at SPS TP Kenanga 1 to encourage the development of expressive language in children aged four to five years through the use of stories. The research methodology used is a case study. Teachers from Paud SPS TP Kenanga 1 participated in this research. Interviews, eyewitness accounts, and written notes are means of gathering information. Data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions are the three steps of the Miles & Huberman interactive model used in this data study. This research found that in group A at PAUD SPS TP Kenanga 1, the teacher tried to help students improve their expressive language skills by inviting them to tell stories. The teacher plans the story based on the goals and themes chosen by the students, but he also provides media and materials. lots of things are happening. The teacher provides the materials needed for storytelling activities, but students are only allowed to use media that suits the needs of the class. Instead of leading with questions about the content to be presented, the instructor starts by doing a storytelling activity. Some students do not get the opportunity to participate in storytelling activities even though the teacher offers them. It is not the teacher who decides how to evaluate his or her students; rather, it is the students themselves.

Abstract

Variation is a skill that teachers need to master in delivering learning to overcome boredom among students. Variation in learning is a change in the activity process which aims to increase students' learning motivation and reduce boredom. Teachers as part of the educational system framework are required to always develop teaching skills in accordance with the times and the environment in which the educational process is carried out. This research method uses qualitative research. The type of research carried out is field research. The sources of this research are primary and secondary data sourced from Arabic language teachers and students. Data collection uses observation, documentation and interview techniques. This research was conducted at MTs Al Washliyah 31 Jalan Pahlawan Number 02, Pekan Tanjung Beringin Village, Serdang Bedagai Regency.
