Abstract

This research aims to analyze the psychological conditions of adolescent children in the development of learning English speaking. The problem studied is the factors that influence the development of English learning in teenagers and its impact on their psychology. The research method used is literature study by searching for and reviewing relevant previous research. The research results show that the psychological condition of adolescent children plays an important role in learning English speaking, especially in terms of motivation, attitude and self-confidence. These findings become a reference for teachers to understand students' psychological conditions and facilitate the learning process in class. Apart from that, this research is also useful for students to overcome difficulties in learning English and for other researchers as a contribution to further understanding of the psychology of English learning among teenagers.

Abstract

Based on the early observation and test results of mathematical representation ability , it is shown that the ability of mathematical representation of the students was still low so that it needed to be improved. In this case, Problem Based Learning (PBL) model could be one of the alternatives in implementing mathematics learning in the class. PBL model consists of five phases which are students’ orientation on the problem, organizing the students to study, guiding students’ experiences, developing and presenting attainments, and also, analyzing and evaluating problem solving process. Each phase could improve students’ mathematical representation ability in the learning. PBL model implementation in the learning. This research is a classroom action research that implemented in three cycles. Students were given a quiz as the final test in every cycle to measure their mathematical representation ability. The result shows that mathematics learning using the PBL model could improve students’ mathematical representation ability. It is shown by the improvement of average score of mathematical representation ability and the presentation of quantity of students who reach Minimum Learning Mastery Standard in each cycle.

Abstract

The emergence of education is on the rise, fueled by the evolution of human intellect capable of instigating transformation. Among the educational frameworks in Indonesia is vocational education. Vocational education stands as a platform aimed at nurturing individuals' potential in both knowledge and skills to enable them to thrive in specific occupational fields. Within vocational education, the learning system is notably advantageous and scrutinized. Project Based Learning emerges as one of the learning methodologies viable within vocational education. This learning approach has been extensively adopted in developed nations like the United States. Termed as "project-based learning" in the Indonesian context, this article delves into analyzing feasible implementations of the Project Based Learning media system utilizing e-books.

Abstract

The existence of curriculum changes seeks to continue to advance education in Indonesia in terms of intellectual and character. But the fact that Indonesian education still prioritizes intellectual rather than character, this can be seen from the lack of application in character education itself. Therefore, this study aims to examine more deeply the integration of the independent curriculum currently applied in the world of education with the concept of the Qur'an in shaping human character. The method used in this research is a library research with data sources obtained through various references in the form of journals, books, proceedings, and relevant articles. The results of this study explain that the formation of human character in the world of education is limited to the curriculum system, but the curriculum used must also be in accordance with the concept of the Qur'an in shaping human character.

Abstract

This research examines the effectiveness of using Student Worksheets (LKM) in Civil Engineering learning based on Project Based Learning (PjBL). With a descriptive qualitative approach, this study aims to understand the impact of using LKM on student engagement, personalization of learning, and development of critical thinking skills. The research results show that LKM increases student engagement and provides opportunities for the development of independent skills in understanding the material. However, challenges such as less conducive classroom management are also acknowledged. With a better understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of using LKM, the role of lecturers as facilitators becomes key in supporting learning effectiveness.

Abstract

One factor that can influence learning motivation is learning methods. This research was motivated by a problem when the researcher made observations, where there were still some students who lacked enthusiasm for learning, did not listen to the teacher, and still had low motivation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the seventh grade PAI class at SMP Negeeri 1 in the Payakumbuh District to see how the peer tutoring method affected the students' enthusiasm to learn. Thinking about how little relevant and suitable procedures are used. By dividing a population into a control group and an experimental group, IM studies employ a quasi-experimental study design. The students in both classes will be given pre- and post-tests as part of this research. The research found that the Sig. (pvalue) = 0.026a 0.05 for the control class and experimental class indicated that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, respectively, in the hypothesis testing. The computations show that the implementation of the peer-guided learning technique affects the learning outcomes of seventh grade PAI students at SMP Negeri 1 Kecemaaten Payakumbuh.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the reality in the field is that during the process of reading the Kunung book In progress, researchers saw that students were not reading the Yellow Book and I still have trouble reading the yellow book. Based on the problem Finding out how much of an impact Muthalaah Night Activities have on sixth graders' Yellow Book reading comprehension is the driving force for this study. Researchers employed experimental research methods in this study. A quasi-experimental design is derived from this experimental research. Comprehensive planning A posttest alone control design was utilised in this investigation. According to the findings from the examination of the ability to read the yellow book students during the reading process by implementing Muthala’ah activities Evening. In the process of reading, students are seen paying attention and listen to the explanation given by the researcher carefully, Students also actively ask questions if there is material they do not understand. Besides Meanwhile, the students also looked enthusiastic when studying in groups and students looks active during the discussion by collaborating with group and share their opinions with each other. After data collection is carried out, it is then processed and carried out examine the hypotheses with the t-test. Assuming α = 0.05 as the level of significance. Criteria for testing: If tcount is greater than or equal to ttable, accept Ha; otherwise, reject H0. A t-test for evaluating hypotheses reveals that the computed t-value (0.4438) is larger than ttable. Therefore, we agree H1, which states that Muthala’ah Activities have an effect. Abstract

The shift from Teacher Centered Learning (TCL) towards Student Centered Learning (SCL) demands that learners become subjects with the potential to explore their abilities and knowledge to be more active, creative, and independent in the learning process. Therefore, educators are required to choose the appropriate learning models to make students more active, creative, and independent in their learning activities, particularly in the field of building construction courses. Project Based Learning (PBL) is a model in which students play an active role in creating a project or product relevant to their competencies. This research aims to analyze the extent of the influence of project-based learning models on building construction courses in vocational education. The method used in this research is a literature review, focusing on examining and analyzing several journals and articles related to the title I have created. Through comprehensive analysis of several relevant journals and articles, this article identifies the positive and negative impacts of PBL on building construction courses, aiming to provide insights for educators and researchers in determining effective learning models.

Abstract

The bulletin board is one of the static visual learning media that can be placed anywhere inside the classroom, characterized as open, so it can be read and observed at any time. By using descriptive quantitative research and chi-square testing, namely the test of independence (Contingency Table Analysis), the aim is to observe and determine the extent of the relationship between the use of bulletin board learning media and the improvement of students' learning outcomes, especially after conducting presentations. The research target is the students of SMP Kristen Kandora, Mengkendek District, Tana Toraja Regency, South Sulawesi. The research sample consists of 35 eighth-grade students. In collecting data, researchers provided questionnaires or research surveys which were then filled out by students. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was concluded that there is a significant correlation between the use of bulletin board learning media and students' learning outcomes. From the calculation using the independence crostabs test (Contingency Table Analysis), a significance value of 0.02 <0.05 was obtained, which means "There is a relationship between the use of bulletin board media and the level of all indicators of students' learning outcomes in conducting learning".

Abstract

The existence of Islamic guidance and counseling services at school can be used as a method by teachers in providing guidance and motivation to students in accordance with the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith by applying religious values as a guide or foundation for students in overcoming all the problems they face. Lack of religious understanding is one of the factors that lead to deviant behavior towards adolescents, it can occur when individuals do not have a strong religious foundation so they are easily affected by environmental conditions, so there is a need for a process of mentoring learning and religious education. Guidance and counseling in the view of Islam is an effort made to solve a problem that occurs in a person based on Islamic norms. Based on the function of Counseling Guidance in the Islamic view of everything that is done in order to enrich the potential of the students and try as much as possible to find out what is being experienced in order to obtain the right solution and have a life in God's favor both in the world and in yaumil end.
