Abstract

Health services are one of the crucial aspects in the health development of a country. The Indonesian government has implemented the National Health Insurance Program (JKN) through the Social Security Administering Body (BPJS) to provide equal access to health services to all Indonesian citizens. One of the focal points of health services is the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of the Bawomataluo Health Center, Fanayama District, South Nias Regency. This study aims to examine the implementation of the BPJS participant health service policy at the UPTD Bawomataluo Health Center. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The research informants consisted of health workers, UPTD administrators, and BPJS participants. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the health service policy for BPJS participants at the UPTD Bawomataluo Health Center faced several challenges, such as limited human resources and health facilities, as well as administrative constraints and information on BPJS health services. However, efforts to improve the quality of services continue to be carried out through training for health workers, improving facilities, and socializing to the community

Abstract

This research aims to describe the dimensions of discourse in the short story Sepotong Senja Untuk Pacarku by Seno Gumira Ajidarma. Descriptive qualitative research method with critical discourse analysis approach of Teun A. Van Dijk model is used to develop this research. The results show that the text dimension, social cognition dimension, and social context dimension are contained in the short stories studied. The text dimension in the short stories consists of macro structure, superstructure, and micro structure. In the macro structure, the theme raised is about 'romance'. The superstructure and microstructure contain six elements and four elements respectively. The findings of the social cognition dimension are that the author wants to convey to readers that the development of technology today causes letters to no longer be an alternative to long-distance communication. The author also illustrates to the current generation how valuable and interesting it is to send and communicate through letters. The finding of the social context dimension is that the author wants readers to take concrete actions to prove what is expressed. The author also wants everyone to be able to accept and hear input or criticism from others

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the development of the Taman Ghanjaran tourist village in Ketapanrame, managed by BUMDesa "Mutiara Welirang," to enhance the Taman Ghanjaran tourist village. The type of research is qualitative descriptive. This study focuses on the development of tourist villages based on dynamic governance, particularly on dynamic capabilities including 1) thinking ahead; 2) thinking again; and 3) thinking across. The results indicate that the capability of thinking ahead requires stakeholders to leverage existing potential. The decision by the Village Head, BPD, and the community to utilize unproductive absorption land for a park was sound. This is reinforced by establishing a clear vision, mission, and strategies for the future and collaborating with various parties to address future challenges continuously. The capacity for thinking again suggests that some policies need to be revised to address the declining visitor numbers at Taman Ghanjaran. BUMDes, under the tourism unit, should develop community investment programs in Ketapanrame through KUB (Business Groups). Digital promotion is now a necessity that cannot be overlooked. The capacity for thinking across has already been implemented in the development of Taman Ghanjaran. Although in 2023 it received the Indonesian Village Tourism Award (ADWI), efforts should not stop; continuous improvement and innovation in all areas are necessary

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the "Lapor Pak Yes" program initiated by the Communication and Information Technology Office of Lamongan Regency as an innovation in public service. The program is designed to accelerate the resolution of public complaints through various communication channels, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, and the national platform SP4N-LAPOR!. This research utilizes Dunn's (2003) policy evaluation theory, which includes six main criteria: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and appropriateness. A qualitative approach was employed in this study, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The study involves various stakeholders, including local government officials and community members who actively use the "Lapor Pak Yes" program. The data collected highlights findings regarding the program's effectiveness in addressing public complaints, the challenges faced, and its impact on improving the quality of public services. The findings reveal that although the number of complaints received was relatively high, with approximately 319 reports related to civil services in 2022, the rate of complaint resolution remains low. Around 40% of reports concerning infrastructure issues, such as road repairs and flood management, were not promptly addressed

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the influence of morale on performance, soldier morale on performance, and soldier morale simultaneously on performance in the Amphibious Ship Unit (Satfib) of Koarmada I, which is still not optimal. This research used a quantitative method with a proportional random sampling technique from 623 Satfib soldier personnel consisting of officers, non-commissioned officers, and enlisted personnel. The data collection method was carried out using a list of questions. The data analysis method was multiple linear regression analysis with the Special Package for Statistics Science (SPSS) version 24 application. This research also used validity and reliability test results as well as hypothesis testing results by research standards. The research results show that: the soldier's morale variable has a positive and significant effect on the performance variable. The variables of soldier spirit and morale simultaneously have a significant effect on personnel performance with a contribution of 0.420 or 42.0%. This means that the exogenous variable consisting of the spirit and morale of soldiers provides almost all the information needed to predict variations in the endogenous variable (performance) of 42.0%, thus there is still 58.0% influenced by other factors not examined in this research. It is hoped that Satfib Koarmada I can increase the enthusiasm and morale of soldiers so that it can create a more conducive working atmosphere so that it is hoped that it can improve performance to achieve organizational goals optimally

Abstract

This study explores sustainable banking performance in Indonesia, emphasizing the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles within banking practices. Employing a mixed-method approach, the research combines a systematic literature review and a preliminary survey of 125 respondents. The literature review synthesized global and local studies, identifying key frameworks, challenges, and opportunities, with a particular focus on Indonesia’s regulatory and socio-economic context. The survey revealed significant public awareness of sustainable finance, with respondents familiar with the concept. However, gaps were identified, particularly in the awareness of specific initiatives like interest subsidies for electric vehicle financing. These findings underscore the critical role of regulatory alignment, stakeholder engagement, and innovation in driving sustainability efforts. Additionally, the study highlights opportunities for Indonesian banks to align with global standards such as the Principles for Responsible Banking, while addressing barriers like organizational inertia and resource constraints. This research provides actionable insights for policymakers, practitioners, and scholars, contributing to the theoretical and practical advancement of sustainable banking in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the performance accountability of government agencies through a literature review. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the implementation of performance-based budgeting, regional financial management information systems, clarity of budget targets, understanding of accounting, compliance with regulations, and accounting control are the main variables that influence performance accountability. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of performance-based budgeting makes a significant contribution to accountability, especially if supported by appropriate planning, implementation, and reporting. Clarity of budget targets plays an important role in facilitating the accountability process, while understanding of accounting and compliance with regulations strengthen transparency and accountability. An effective financial management information system also has a positive impact, although the implementation of the regional government accounting system shows varying results. These findings underline the importance of planned financial management, consistent implementation, and transparent reporting to achieve optimal performance accountability. This study contributes to improving good governance by emphasizing strategic factors that need to be considered by government agencies

Abstract

This study aims to analyze public sector financial reports in order to assess the accountability and performance of local governments. Financial reports are one of the important instruments used to describe the financial position and evaluate the performance of public sector entities. In the context of local government, financial reports are the basis for decision making, both for internal government parties and for external stakeholders such as the community, creditors, investors, and the central government. This study uses a descriptive analysis approach and case studies to explore the functions, objectives, and stakeholders related to public sector financial reports. The results of the study indicate that public sector financial reports not only function as a tool to measure financial performance, but also as a medium to increase transparency and accountability in regional financial management. In addition, public sector financial reports are also an important reference in decision making related to public policy and regional development. Comparison with the private sector shows significant differences in terms of focus, accountability, and supervision of financial reports. This study provides recommendations for improving the public financial accounting and reporting system in order to create more efficient and accountable management at the local government level
