Abstract

Aqidah is the heart's conviction of truth. Aqidah serves as a religious basis to straighten and strengthen faith in Allah. This study examines the values of aqidah from the perspective of the Qur'an. The background of this study is that deviations from aqidah in Islam arise due to several factors, such as ignorance of religious knowledge, attitudes of ta'ashub or fanaticism passed down from generation to generation, thus justifying wrong behavior. These various forms of deviation generally indicate weak faith in Allah. This study identifies the understanding of the aqidah of Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah, links the understanding of Aswaja with the Qur'an, and analyzes its social and religious implications. This study uses an analytical method of analyzing Quranic texts. The type of research is library research, while the data analysis technique is conducted through document review. The object of this research is the values of faith. The research subjects are Ahlusunnah Waljamaah. Data collection was carried out using Kollelksil Dolkumeln, Analilsils Ilsil Dolkumeln. The results of the author found that: The values of Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah are in line with the teachings of the Qur'an which guide humans to think diversely, avoid excessive attitudes (at-tawassut), uphold intelligence, honesty, and justice (al-i'tidal), be tolerant (at-tasamuh), and apply a balance of service and devotion (at-tawazun). In addition, these values prevent evil and encourage good deeds (amar ma'ruf nahi munkar). Finally, the author recommends to readers, the Indonesian people understand the values of faith so that there is no deviation from faith

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed curriculum development toward more adaptive, personalized, and data-driven approaches. This study aims to analyze research trends, identify key variables, and propose future research directions related to the utilization of AI in curriculum development. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method based on the PRISMA guidelines. A total of 42 empirical articles published between 2020 and 2025 were retrieved from Scopus, ERIC, Semantic Scholar, and Google Scholar, and analyzed using bibliometric and thematic approaches. The results reveal three major research clusters: AI-based learning systems, curriculum intelligence design, and adaptive education models. The findings further indicate that the effectiveness of AI implementation in curriculum development is strongly influenced by mediating variables such as teacher readiness and digital pedagogy integration, and is reinforced by moderating factors including policy support and technological infrastructure readiness. In addition, ethical considerations and AI literacy emerge as critical components in designing sustainable AI-driven curricula. Overall, AI plays a strategic role in shaping innovative, inclusive, and sustainable curriculum models. This study contributes both theoretically and practically to the advancement of educational policy and technology-based curriculum design in the digital era

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has had a significant impact on the mindset, behavior, and character formation of Generation Alpha. Unlimited access to information not only provides benefits but also presents various moral and social challenges that must be anticipated. This condition requires parents to play an increasingly strategic role in internalizing Islamic educational values so that children are able to filter negative influences in the digital era. This study aims to examine and optimize the role of parents in instilling Islamic educational values in Generation Alpha. The method used is a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including literature review and observation of Muslim family parenting patterns. The results of the study indicate that optimizing the role of parents can be achieved through role modeling, habituation of Islamic values in daily life, guidance in the use of digital technology, and intensive, open, and educational communication. With an optimal parental role, the internalization of Islamic educational values is expected to shape Generation Alpha into individuals who are religious, morally upright, critical, adaptive, and wise in utilizing digital technology responsibly

Abstract

The “Buang-buang” ritual is a central element of the Robo-robo tradition celebrated by the Malay community in Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan. Although it is often perceived as an animistic practice, it in fact embodies complex and profound theological meanings. This study aims to explore the theological symbolism within the ritual and how the local community harmonizes ancestral traditions with Islamic teachings. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with an ethno-theological approach, using participatory observation during the peak of the celebration, in-depth interviews with traditional leaders, religious figures, and representatives of non-governmental organizations, as well as analysis of historical documents of the Amantubillah Kingdom. The findings reveal that the “Buang-buang” ritual is not merely an offering to supernatural beings, but rather a symbolic expression of collective gratitude and repentance. The act of casting offerings into the river estuary is interpreted as an effort to discard negative traits, misfortune (balak), and egoism before entering a new year. This meaning aligns with the Islamic concept of tafaul (optimism toward goodness). The transformation of traditional chants into Islamic prayers further demonstrates cultural accommodation and the reinforcement of tawhid values within local cultural practices.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of local cultural values in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning at SD Negeri 03 Bengkulu Tengah. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach to gain an in-depth understanding of the planning, implementation, and impact of integrating local culture into IRE learning. Data were collected through passive participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation involving IRE teachers, students of grades IV, V, and VI, the school principal, and community figures. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that local cultural values such as mutual cooperation, deliberation, politeness, traditional ceremonies, and local customs have been contextually integrated into IRE learning. This integration contributes to improved student understanding, increased learning engagement, and the development of students’ religious character and social attitudes. The study concludes that integrating local cultural values is an effective learning strategy to create meaningful and contextually relevant Islamic religious education

Abstract

Some groups within Islam display extreme understandings that can trigger intolerant and violent actions. Although the guidelines for Muslims are based on the Quran and Hadith, in practice, there are diverse understandings and religious traditions among various groups. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the interpretation of the Quran in these two tafsir books aligns with the principle of moderation that underpins Nahdlatul Ulama, a recognized Islamic organization that upholds a moderate stance in both religious and state life..Top of FormBottom of Form PIn this research, the author applies the interpretation method positionor comparative interpretation, namely by comparing the interpretations Lathoiful Isyarat and Interpretation Al-Munir. Library research approach (library research) The object of study is the Tafsir Lathoiful Isyarat and the Tafsir Al-Munir, while the focus of the research is Nahdlatul Ulama. Data collection was carried out using a heuristic method. The research results show that there are similarities and differences between the concept of tawassuth in the Tafsir Lathoiful Isyarat and the Tafsir Al Munir adopted by NU, namely that understanding and practicing religion must be through a path of balance and a middle ground so that religion seems friendly, gentle, and compassionate. In fact, balance is an inevitability, including in natural law. Finally, the author recommends that readers be careful in understanding anything, especially those related to tawassuth.

Abstract

The adagium ṣāliḥ li kulli zamān wa makān attributed to the Qur’an affirms its inevitable relevance in responding to the ever-evolving dynamics of life, including the issue of nepotism. Nepotism is a form of distortion of social justice that undermines social, political, and economic systems in many countries, including Indonesia. Therefore, a contemporary approach is needed to understand the messages of the Qur’an so that its universal values can be applied contextually. This study employs a library research method with the hermeneutical approach of Fazlur Rahman’s double movement. This approach involves two main movements: first, exploring the meaning of Qur’anic texts within their socio-historical context; and second, applying their universal moral values to the present context. The findings show that QS. al-Nisā’ [4]: 58, through the first movement, generates two moral ideas: justice (al-‘adālah) and trustworthiness (al-amānah). The second movement emphasizes the importance of implementing these values in social, political, and governmental life. Thus, the teachings of the Qur’an can be actualized contextually as an ethical foundation for preventing and addressing nepotism in a sustainable manner across various aspects of life

Abstract

This article discussed ʿIlm al-ʿAruḍ as a system of knowledge within Arabic language studies through an epistemological approach. Prior to this study, ʿIlm al-ʿAruḍ had often been understood merely as a technical tool for analyzing poetry, whereas it actually possessed a structured set of concepts, working methods, and clear criteria of validity for determining the correctness of wazan (metrical patterns) and the regularity of rhythm in Arabic poetry. This study employed a qualitative approach with a library research design, using descriptive–analytical analysis. The findings indicated that ʿIlm al-ʿAruḍ functioned as a scientific instrument for verifying metrical and rhyming patterns, which demonstrated that it held not only aesthetic value but also academic significance within the scholarly tradition of Arabic studies. From an epistemological perspective, the discussion showed that ʿIlm al-ʿAruḍ had identifiable sources of knowledge, analytical procedures, and mechanisms of verification that could be academically justified. Furthermore, the study found that ʿIlm al-ʿAruḍ remained relevant in contemporary Arabic language education when taught contextually and connected to modern linguistic studies, particularly phonology and linguistic rhythm. Therefore, it was concluded that ʿIlm al-ʿAruḍ deserved to be positioned as an essential component of the structure of Arabic linguistic sciences, both for strengthening the understanding of Arabic literature and for developing deeper linguistic competence.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high level of stress experienced by students of the guidance and counseling study program in the thesis preparation process. The purpose of this study is to describe: 1) a stress coping strategy that focuses on problem-focused coping, and 2) a stress coping strategy that focuses on emotion-focused coping. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with two key informants, namely (TA) and (AD), as well as four additional informants consisting of each student's supervisor, namely (JA) and (S), as well as close friends of each student, namely (NJS) and (DS). The research instrument uses an interview format, while the data analysis technique is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study showed: 1) a stress coping strategy that focuses on problem solving is carried out by students through efforts to overcome thesis problems directly as a form of problem-focused coping. 2) Stress coping strategies that focus on managing emotions are carried out by students through efforts to manage emotional stress during thesis preparation as a form of emotion-focused coping. The results of this research are recommended to students in order to improve discipline in managing time and reduce the habit of delaying revision work so that the thesis preparation process can run more directed and consistently

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of recommendations from psychologists and the Regional Child Protection Commission (KPAD) in marriage dispensation cases at the Wonosobo Religious Court from an Islamic law perspective. Marriage dispensation for children under the legal age remains a significant issue in Indonesia, requiring careful consideration of children's rights and best interests. This research aims to analyze the implementation of psychologist and KPAD recommendations in judges' decisions, evaluate their effectiveness in protecting children's interests, and examine their compatibility with Islamic law principles. Using a normative-empirical legal research method with a case study approach, data were collected through document analysis, interviews with judges, psychologists, KPAD officials, and direct observation at the Wonosobo Religious Court. The findings reveal that psychologist and KPAD recommendations are considered by judges but are not the sole determining factor in decisions. Effectiveness is constrained by limited resources, varying recommendation quality, and the dominance of urgent pregnancy considerations. From an Islamic law perspective, these recommendations align with the principles of maslahah (public interest) and protection of offspring (hifz al-nasl), though their implementation requires strengthening. The study recommends enhancing collaboration among institutions, improving the quality of psychological assessments, and developing more comprehensive guidelines that integrate Islamic law principles with child protection
