Abstract

Learning styles for the blind are very important to know. this is to help accuracy in the learning process carried out so that the material can be well received. Likewise, with the ability of the blind master's mathematical literacy, it is important to measure the ability of the blind master to understand material related to mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning styles and mathematical literacy abilities of the blind. The subjects taken were the blind with the blind type. Qualitative research using observation data collection methods and unstructured interviews. The conclusion is that the learning styles of the blind type are auditory and kinesthetic. While the ability of mathematical literacy is not good because it only meets one indicator of the problem formulation. It needs to be studied further, the same thing for other types of blindness

Abstract

The critical thinking ability of students who are classified as low is a trigger for teachers to be required to be smart in choosing the learning model to be used. Problem Based Learning is a learning model that is able to develop students' critical thinking skills using problems as their starting point. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the Problem Based Learning model on increasing students' critical thinking skills in solving SPLTV questions. This research used the Quasi Experimental design experimental research method and was carried out in May 2022, class X MA Nurul Ulum, Mertak Tombok, NTB. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, interviews, and tests. Data analysis used the Normality Test, Homogeneity Test and Hypothesis Test which were calculated using SPSS 16 for Windows. The results showed that learning with the Problem Based Learning model experienced an increase in critical thinking skills with an average value of 31,87 to 76,25 with the results of the hypothesis test showing the results of 7,401 > 2,021 or which means that the Problem Based learning model Learning can improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and examine the application of game-based learning methods to multiplication and division arithmetic operations. The research was conducted at SMP Plus Raudlatul Muqorrobin Kalisat, Kalisat District, Jember Regency. This type of research is exploratory and qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were class VII students of junior high school. Data collection techniques used interviews with mathematics teachers, observations related to learning activities from mathematics learning materials, multiplication and division operations, and documentation in the form of photographs. The data analysis technique used in this study uses Miles and Huberman's steps, namely data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study showed a positive change in the use of game-based learning methods in multiplication and division arithmetic operations. These changes are reflected in the enthusiasm of students while playing, increased student interest in learning, and student learning outcomes. By applying appropriate learning methods, it is necessary to create solutions for students and teachers to facilitate the achievement of learning objectives.

Abstract

Adolescence is the most turbulent period in humans, so there are many changes in children's behavior at this time; instilling good moral values in students is needed to live life both at school, at home, and in society. This article aims to provide a new perspective in developing learning strategies in schools to help improve and improve morals in students, using the Gerlack & Ely learning model in the hope of assisting students in understanding the moral values contained in Pancasila and being able to practice in everyday life. With this learning model, students will be invited to work together to solve problems in learning so that the learning atmosphere will not be boring. Generally, learning in schools often uses a one-way communication system, namely, the teacher explains, and students only listen; this will feel boring and lazy. Applying the Gerlack & Ely learning model can increase student activeness in the learning process so that the material taught can be more easily understood. It will later be practiced in everyday life.

Abstract

This article discusses how the use of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model can improve students' literacy skills. PjBL is one of the innovative learning models, where learning is more student-centered, using projects as learning media. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of the PjBL learning model in improving students' literacy skills. Literacy includes the knowledge and skills needed by learners to access, understand, analyze, and evaluate information, create meaning express thoughts and emotions, and generate ideas and opinions. One aspect of literacy skills is reading literacy. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve students' reading literacy skills, one of which is by using the PjBL learning model. In this PjBL model, students are invited to discuss with groups about the theme of the Diversity of Indonesian Communities in Unity in Diversity with problems encountered in everyday life.

Abstract

Learning design is essential in improving the quality of learning and students' learning experience. However, many universities (especially in Information Technology) have not developed a structured learning design, so the learning process becomes ineffective. The PBL approach is used because it encourages students to actively solve real problems relevant to the learning material, which will develop problem-solving skills, critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. This approach is supported by constructivism and social cognitive theories, which emphasize the active role of students in constructing their knowledge through interaction with learning content and social interaction. The results of the limited trial showed a significant increase in post-test scores compared to the pre-test, supporting the concept that active learning, as implemented in the PBL module, can improve student understanding. Developing and testing this module reflects a systematic and sustainable approach to designing effective instruction, potentially enhancing the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education must be supported by improving the quality of learning. Improving the quality of education must be supported by improving the quality of learning. There are various efforts to enhance students' learning quality, multiple efforts, among others, by arousing interest in learning. This study aims to see the extracurricular relationship of learning to type using the Typer Shark Deluxe application to increase the interest and quality of typing learning of Class IX Integrated Junior High School Cendekia Insani Nurul Huda Paowan students. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with the researcher's position as the main instrument (key), while sampling data sources is carried out with Purposive and Snowball techniques. Data collection techniques use triangulation (combined) methods; data analysis is inductive/qualitative, and qualitative research results emphasize meaning rather than generalization. Data analysis techniques use an interactive data analysis model, which includes four components: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Judging from the results of the data obtained, using the Typer Shark Deluxe application is very useful for increasing the interest and quality of learning to type class IX students of Integrated Junior High School Cendekia Insani Paowan.

Abstract

This research examines instructional leadership models in educational contexts, focusing on transformational, transactional, and Islamic value-based approaches. A comprehensive literature study explored the complex dynamics of contemporary educational leadership. The research demonstrates that each leadership model possesses unique characteristics influencing organizational effectiveness. Transformational leadership highlights structural inspiration and motivation, while transactional leadership emphasizes exchange mechanisms and incentives. The Islamic value-based model integrates spiritual dimensions and moral ethics in leadership practices. Findings indicate the importance of a holistic approach that synergizes managerial, psychological, and spiritual aspects in building a dynamic and high-quality educational ecosystem. Research implications emphasize the need for adaptive leadership models capable of responding to the complexity of contemporary educational challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) as part of the Independent Curriculum in supporting the development of student creativity. The P5 program is designed to build character, critical thinking abilities, and 21st-century skills through a holistic, project-based approach. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to identify, evaluate, and synthesize research relevant to related questions or phenomena. Data is collected through three main stages of SLR: planning, implementation, and completion. The study results show that the optimal implementation of P5 can increase students' innovation, creativity, and ability to solve problems independently. However, several obstacles are still found, such as the lack of teachers' understanding of the P5 concept, the limitations of supporting facilities, and the diversity of student backgrounds. To overcome this, additional steps are needed, such as teacher training and improving facilities to maximize the effectiveness of P5 in forming a creative generation that has character according to Pancasila values.
