Abstract

In the digital era, technology in learning has become a fundamental need to improve the quality of teaching and learning. One innovative approach that can increase student motivation, engagement, and knowledge retention is learning gamification. This study aims to explore the impact of using gamification on student retention through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. A total of 20 articles from scientific journals published in the 2020-2024 period were systematically analyzed based on journal quality criteria (Quality Assessment), including topic relevance, the impact of using gamification, and the correlation between gamification and student retention. The results of the analysis show that gamification positively affects student knowledge retention. So that teachers can develop learning by integrating gamification elements into learning to create a more enjoyable, competitive, and practical learning experience.

Abstract

Scholarships are a form of support or appreciation given to individuals, generally for those who wish to continue their education but have economic limitations or for those who excel. A system is needed to determine worthy scholarship recipients to support decision-making. This research aims to identify the impact of a decision support system (DSS) in selecting scholarship recipients using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. This research collected 15 journals from Google Scholar published from 2020 to 2024, which were analyzed based on (Quality Assessment) such as topic relevance, use of methods and criteria, and the impact of implementing a decision support system on determining scholarship recipients. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of a decision support system has a significant impact on selecting scholarship recipients who are transparent, effective, efficient, and accurate.

Abstract

Information and communication technology is currently experiencing very rapid development, especially in the world of education, which is increasingly developing, especially in learning media, where many schools have not utilized technology in learning, so students feel bored in class. This type of literature review research uses the systematic literature review method. Based on the results of a systematic literature review, several researchers used Publish or Perish with the help of other applications such as Zotero Mendeley, VOSViewer, and Microsoft Excel. The selected articles all have good values for the influence of educational games on student learning motivation. The analysis results show that educational games provide an engaging and interactive way to learn, thus encouraging students to be more active and involved in the educational process. These studies support integrating technology in education as an effective strategy to improve school learning quality.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation and impact of digital attendance systems in education. Digital attendance is a technological innovation that replaces manual attendance systems using electronic devices such as web-based applications or specialized software. This study explores the effectiveness of digital attendance implementation in improving administrative efficiency, the accuracy of attendance data, and the monitoring of teaching and learning activities. It also analyzes its impact on student engagement, attendance compliance, and the learning process. The research employs quantitative and qualitative approaches by collecting data through surveys, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that digital attendance enhances operational efficiency and facilitates real-time student attendance monitoring. However, implementing this technology also faces challenges, such as technical issues and user resistance. These findings contribute to developing policies and strategies for adopting educational technology to support school digital transformation.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the independent curriculum in the context of educational units in rural areas, specifically at MTs Insan Madani in Situbondo Regency. Employing a qualitative research approach and the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this research synthesizes data collected through documents, images, and audiovisual materials. The findings highlight that while the independent curriculum aims to provide a practical and communicable learning experience, its implementation faces challenges. Key issues include a lack of understanding among teachers and the need for adaptation to available resources and curriculum changes. The study concludes that empowering teachers through targeted strategies and continuous training is critical to achieving the curriculum's goals.

Abstract

A curriculum is a plan and regulation containing objectives, content, learning materials, and teaching methods used as guidelines in teaching and learning activities. The curriculum is the leading guide for educators to ensure every student has access to rigorous academic experiences. The word "Curriculum" comes from the Latin Currece, which means "Running" or "Continuing". The curriculum can also be interpreted as a set or system of plans and arrangements regarding learning materials that can be used as teaching and learning activity guidelines. In essence, the curriculum can also be called a learning plan. Therefore, all parties involved and directly related to the function of this curriculum must understand it. This research is qualitative. The method used is the systematic literature review (SLR) approach, which collects data and evaluates and synthesizes relevant evidence. The target of this study was students at the Mts. Insan Madani educational unit is located in Gebang Village, Jatibanteng District, Situbondo Regency. The data collection technique used is qualitative data that is reviewed and collected in the form of writing and images; qualitative data can be obtained through various data collection techniques, such as images, voice recordings, and videos. Implementing the independent curriculum is a practical learning experience and is easy to communicate with various parties. The results of this study reveal that implementing the independent curriculum at the educational unit level has several influences, namely from its natural resources and the changes in the existing curriculum. As a result, some teachers still do not understand how to implement the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Implementing Moving Class at SMAN 1 Panji aims to make students focus on studying subjects of interest that will be used for college entrance tests. The number of students who do not get classes in the subjects of interest because the provision of courses in the implementation of Moving Class has not been optimal causes many students not to be enthusiastic about learning. By considering these problems, it is necessary to have a literature review on the simplex method to know whether or not the simplex method can be used as a method in optimizing the provision of classes in the implementation of Moving Class so that all students get courses according to their interests and students will be more enthusiastic in participating in learning. A literature review is used to determine whether or not the simplex method can be used to assess the provision of classes in implementing Moving Class. In previous studies, the simplex method was widely used to optimize production, profits, and also a combination of production because it has several constraints and linear limits, so it was concluded that the simplex method could be used to optimize the provision of classes on the implementation of Moving Class because it also has linear constraints.

Abstract

Motivation is the driving force that propels individuals to achieve specific goals. In psychology, motivation is often linked to the fulfillment of basic needs, as described by Abraham Maslow in his hierarchy of needs. Motivation can emerge internally, such as personal desires and beliefs, or externally, such as environmental rewards. Meanwhile, in Islam, motivation is grounded in sincere intentions (niyyah) and oriented toward the afterlife. Islam emphasizes good deeds, sincerity, and reliance on God (tawakal) as primary drivers of human behavior. This journal compares the perspectives of Islam and psychology in understanding the concept of motivation. The study reveals that Islamic motivation focuses on seeking God's pleasure and eternal well-being in the afterlife, whereas psychology emphasizes worldly needs and self-actualization. Despite their differences, both approaches highlight the importance of motivation in shaping behavior and enhancing individuals' holistic well-being.

Abstract

Digital attendance is a soft device or application computer designed to monitor and record somebody's presence systematically. Application This replaces the traditional manual way of recording and tracking the presence of employees, students, and others using digital technology. Applications for digital attendance usually implement various feature technologies such as QR Code, fingerprint finger, introduction face, RFID ( Radio Frequency Identification ), or GPS ( Global Positioning System ) to entertain accuracy and security recording presence. The study aims to obtain information about the practical method development application of existing digital attendance. Research This uses the method of systematic literature review (SLR). Stage identify, study, evaluate, and interpret all the existing research results. This study finds three effective ways To develop application digital attendance: QR code, fingerprint finger, and RFID. In addition, there are fewer effective ways to build an application with digital time and presence, such as introducing face and GPS. Methods This vulnerable error needs investigation To get a percentage of high database results. Lack of availability time is influenced by factors deep data research determines results database system is inhibiting development application logger time and digital presence. Therefore, a step further in application absence is to apply a method proven to be effective so that the stage development application study is fluent.
