Abstract

Digital transformation at Pegadaian Syariah is an important step in responding to technological developments and the public’s need for fast and efficient financial services. Through the Pegadaian Digital Service (PDS), pawn transactions can now be conducted online without compromising sharia principles. This study aims to examine how the Rahn and Ijarah contracts are implemented in online pawn services and to assess their compliance with the provisions of fiqh muamalah and legal regulations in Indonesia. The method used is a qualitative approach with a literature study, involving analysis of DSN-MUI fatwas, Islamic economics literature, and official documents from Pegadaian Syariah. The results of the study show that the implementation of the Rahn and Ijarah contracts in digital form fulfills sharia requirements because it is transparent, uses valid electronic signatures, and operates under the supervision of the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS). This digital transformation not only increases the efficiency and security of services but also expands public access to sharia-compliant finance and supports the realization of maqashid sharia, namely public benefit and justice in modern economic transactions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the influence of digital marketing and product variety on purchasing decisions for beauty products on the Tokopedia application among the residents of Tanjung Sari, Medan. This study employs an exploratory research method, with each variable measured using a Likert scale. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The population consists of all consumers of PT Tokopedia, totaling 157 individuals. Sampling was conducted using a saturated sampling technique, also known as a census, due to the relatively small population size. Data were processed using SPSS version 23, applying descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing through multiple regression analysis. The findings indicate that (1) digital marketing has a partial influence on purchasing decisions for beauty products on the Tokopedia application; (2) product variety also partially influences purchasing decisions; and (3) digital marketing and product variety simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for beauty products on the Tokopedia application among the people of Tanjung Sari, Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to identify how ChatGPT, as an artificial intelligence technology, is utilized to support students’ self-directed learning in the Instructional Multimedia course. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach, which systematically and factually describes the phenomenon of ChatGPT utilization within the Cybergogy model to support self-directed learning among PTIK students in the Multimedia Learning course. The population in the class serving as the research subject consisted of 32 students. Based on the results, viewed from several aspects: Engagement (Digital Involvement) shows that ChatGPT is highly helpful in understanding Multimedia Learning materials (mean 4.55) and increases learning motivation due to quick access to explanations and examples. In the aspect of Empowerment (Self-Directed Learning Empowerment), ChatGPT is very effective in generating ideas and inspiration for multimedia design (mean 4.48) and helps students complete tasks independently while still ensuring personal understanding. In the Enhancement (Improvement and Reflection) aspect, ChatGPT enhances the depth of understanding regarding multimedia design principles. In the aspect of Ethical & Critical Use, students are aware of using ChatGPT as a support tool rather than a substitute for their own thinking.The study concludes that the utilization of ChatGPT within the Cybergogy Model effectively optimizes self-directed learning in the Instructional Multimedia course at PTIK, viewed through four aspects: (1) Engagement, (2) Empowerment, (3) Enhancement, and (4) Ethical & Critical Use. The overall mean score obtained was 4.316, with the majority category being very high.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of professional ethics implementation on public trust in public accountants in Indonesia, focusing on principles from the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) Code of Ethics such as integrity, objectivity, professional competence, and confidentiality. A qualitative approach was employed through an in-depth literature study, involving the collection and synthesis of secondary data from national journals, international professional standards like IFAC, and documented cases of public accountant ethics violations in academic literature from 2020-2025. Thematic content analysis techniques were applied to identify patterns in the relationship between professional ethics implementation and dimensions of public trust, including perceptions of financial reporting transparency, audit credibility, and the impact of ethics violations on professional reputation.This research contributes theoretically by integrating stakeholder theory and agency theory in the context of Indonesian accounting ethics, while providing practical recommendations for IAI and KAP to enhance ethics training and oversight mechanisms. Limitations of the literature study lie in reliance on secondary data, suggesting future research with in-depth interviews among stakeholders.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling (BK) services play a crucial role in supporting students' academic, emotional, social, and career development. In the era of the Independent Curriculum, with its emphasis on individual potential development and learning flexibility, the need for effective BK services is becoming increasingly crucial. This study aims to analyze the role of the Principal (KS) as a driving force and manager in optimizing BK management in schools. The method used is a literature study by examining various empirical studies and theories on BK management, school leadership, and the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. The results of the study indicate that KS has a strategic role in: (1) providing structural support facilities/infrastructure and policies; (2) encouraging collaboration between BK teachers, homeroom teachers, and subject teachers; (3) conducting supervision and monitoring; (4) ensuring the integration of BK services into the school education system. However, many cases show that BK management is not optimal due to a lack of commitment, resources, or understanding of the BK function. Therefore, the role of the KS as a driving force is crucial to the success of counseling services in the era of the Independent Curriculum. Recommendations are given for strengthening commitment, training, and a structured BK management system.

Abstract

Accountability and supervision are two essential aspects in the implementation of Guidance and Counseling (GC) services in schools. Both function to ensure that all GC activities are carried out effectively, efficiently, and in accordance with professional standards. Research and literature indicate that accountability in GC includes counselors’ responsibility for program implementation, the use of resources, and the outcomes of services provided to students and stakeholders. Meanwhile, supervision serves as a control and developmental mechanism that ensures the delivery of services aligns with ethical codes and educational goals. However, the implementation of accountability and supervision in the field still faces various challenges, such as low awareness of their importance, lack of structured supervision, and limited supporting facilities. To address these issues, it is necessary to strengthen counselors’ competencies, improve data-based monitoring systems, and enhance sustainable institutional support. By consistently applying the principles of accountability and supervision, GC services in schools can become more transparent, professional, and positively impactful on students’ development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the appropriateness of charging administrative fees in digital payment transactions using QRIS among micro-enterprises in light of the regulations of Bank Indonesia and the principles of Islamic economic law (sharia). Using a qualitative method with a prescriptive approach, this research evaluates whether such practice is right or wrong based on interview data from merchants and consumers, as well as a literature review related to digital payment systems, MDR regulation, and fiqh muamalah. The analysis finds that merchants’ imposition of QRIS administrative fees constitutes conduct that is not aligned with regulatory provisions, violates consumer protection principles, and contradicts the principles of fairness, transparency, and the concept of ‘iwadh in muamalah. The findings affirm that QRIS administrative fees are invalid both from a regulatory and sharia perspective, thereby necessitating stronger education and oversight to ensure fair and sharia-compliant digital transaction practices.

Abstract

Morality is a measure of a person's good and bad, both as individuals and as members of society, and citizens. Meanwhile, moral education is education to make children human beings with good morals and humanity. This paper aims to provide an overview of instilling moral values in students through civic education learning and to understand the definitions of morals, moral education, and moral education in children. The research method used is a literature review research method or library study, which contains theories relevant to the research problems. The conclusion of this paper is that the formation of students' morals is not only from other lessons, but in Civic Education lessons also plays a role in the formation of students' morals

Abstract

This article reviews various literature findings regarding the leadership role of school principals in strengthening Guidance and Counseling (BK) services oriented toward student personal development. The study focuses on three domains: the regulations that underlie the implementation of BK services, the implementation of the principal's role in daily school activities, and the challenges that frequently arise in implementing these services. Furthermore, this article offers problem-solving strategies based on the needs of today's educational institutions. Overall, the literature indicates that the success of BK services is influenced by the quality of the principal's policies, the availability of supporting facilities, and a collaborative culture among all school members.

Abstract

The rapid growth of multi-level marketing (MLM) companies in Indonesia, including those claiming to adopt a sharia-based system, raises questions regarding the conformity of their business mechanisms with Islamic economic law principles. This study aims to analyze the level of sharia compliance in the network marketing practices of PT Bandung Eco Sinergi Teknologi (PT BEST). A qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method is employed to examine PT BEST’s business system based on muamalah principles and the provisions of DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 75/DSN-MUI/VII/2009 on Sharia-Compliant Multi-Level Direct Selling. Primary data were collected through interviews with distributors and management, observations of training and marketing activities, and documentation studies of company regulations and bonus schemes. The findings indicate that PT BEST has made efforts to implement a sharia-compliant network marketing model by providing real and beneficial products and explicitly avoiding riba-related practices. However, several aspects still require improvement, particularly the balance between product sales and member recruitment, the transparency of bonus distribution, and the effectiveness of sharia supervision. The study concludes that PT BEST’s business system partially fulfills sharia principles and offers recommendations for strengthening more ethical, transparent, and equitable network marketing practices.
