Abstract

This study examines the implementation of an Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) strategy by Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KCP Citarum to enhance customer loyalty. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the IMC strategy incorporates advertising, direct marketing, online marketing, sales promotion, publicity, and public relations. However, challenges include low Sharia financial literacy, phishing threats, and a lack of professional marketing staff. Solutions proposed involve outreach to educational institutions, distributing cautionary brochures, and optimizing online marketing. The study concludes that an effective IMC strategy can improve customer loyalty in Islamic banking, provided that its unique challenges are addressed systematically.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation, leadership training, and sharia work environment on employee performance at the Pacitan Branch Post Office. In the world of work, factors such as motivation, training quality, and a supportive environment play a very important role in improving employee performance. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with a survey as a data collection technique. The respondents in this study were employees at the Pacitan Branch Post Office totaling 41 people. The data obtained was analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques to determine the influence of each independent variable on employee performance. The results of the study show that work motivation, leadership training, and sharia work environment simultaneously have a positive effect on employee performance. Partially, work motivation and leadership training have a significant influence on performance improvement, while the sharia work environment, although it has a positive effect, is not significant. This research implies that companies need to focus more on developing work motivation and leadership training programs to improve employee performance, as well as create a more supportive work environment in accordance with sharia principles.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe practice of buying and selling vegetables using the "untingan" system refers to a type of transaction where goods are bundled into small groups. The aim of this research is to analyze the Islamic economic perspective regarding the practice conducted at the Gambar Wonodadi Blitar market, where each bundle (per bundle) is not weighed, but only estimated. The approach used is a phenomenological approach with field research employing a descriptive qualitative method. Primary data sources were obtained through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. This primary data was supported by secondary data sourced from books, scientific journals, and other relevant information. The results of the study indicate that the buying and selling practice fulfills the necessary conditions, namely: 1. There are sellers and buyers involved in the transaction; 2. There is an object being traded, in this case, vegetables; 3. The transaction has a good intention and purpose; 4. There is an agreement (Ijab Kabul) between both parties without coercion and without causing harm to either party. The practice is also free from prohibited aspects, including haram li dzatihi (prohibition due to the nature of the object being sold), since vegetables are not haram objects. It is also free from haram li ghoirihi (prohibitions related to other factors besides the object being traded), such as: 1. Tadlis (misrepresentation); 2. Ihtikar (monopoly); 3. Ba’i najasy (manipulation of prices); 4. Riba (usury); 5. Maysir (gambling); and 6. Gharar (excessive uncertainty). In this transaction, the untingan system used falls under the category of gharar qalil (slight uncertainty), which, according to scholars, is permissible as long as the conditions and terms of the transaction are fulfilled. According to the urf (customary practice) principle, this practice is also allowed because it does not violate any rules. In this transaction, the urf principle is met, as: 1. It brings logical benefits; 2. It is common in society or at least among most people; and 3. It does not contradict any established religious texts (nash). In Islamic economics, selling without weighing or estimating (ba’i jizaf) is permitted as long as it meets the following requirements: 1. The object being sold must exist and be visible to both parties; 2. Both parties (the seller and buyer) do not know the exact measurement or weight; 3. The estimation process must be carried out by someone who is skilled or experienced in it; and most importantly, 4. It does not harm either party. Therefore, it can be concluded that the practice of buying and selling using the untingan system at the Gambar Wonodadi Blitar market is a valid transaction according to the Islamic economic perspective. ABSTRAKPraktik jual beli sayuran sistem untingan merupakan jual beli yang memiliki arti diikat kecil-kecil. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tinjauan ekonomi islam terkait praktik yang dilakukan di pasar Gambar Wonodadi Blitar dikarenakan dalam setiap untingan (ikatan) yang dibuat tidak dilakukan penimbangan melainkan hanya dikira-kira. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan fenomenologis dengan jenis penelitian lapangan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data primer diperoleh dari terjun langsung ke lapangan untuk melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data primer didukung oleh data sekunder yang bersumber dari buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan berbagai informasi lain yang memiliki korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik jual beli sudah memenuhi rukun yakni: 1. terdapat penjual dan pembeli yang melakukan transaksi; 2. Terdapat obyek yang ditransaksikan berupa sayuran; 3. Memiliki maksud dan tujuan yang baik; 4. Terdapat kesepakatan ijab Kabul antara kedua belah pihak tanpa paksaan dan tidak merugikan salah satu pihak. Praktik jual beli juga terbebas dari hal-hal yang dilarang yaitu haram li dzatihi atau keharaman dari zat obyek yang dijual, dalam hal ini sayuran bukanlah obyek yang haram. Kemudian juga terbebas dari aspek haram li ghoirihi atau hal-hal yang dilarang diluar dari zat obyek yang ditransaksikan antara lain yaitu: 1. Tadlis; 2. Ihtikar; 3. Ba’I najasy; 4. Riba; 5. Maysir; dan 6. Gharar. Dalam traksaksi ini sistem untingan yang digunakan tergolong ke dalam gharar qalil (kecil) dimana menurut para ulama hal ini diperbolehkan asalkan rukun dan syaratnya terpenuhi. Menurut kaidah urf (adat/ kebiasaan) hal ini juga diperbolehkan dikarenakan tidak melanggar. Pada transaksi ini sudah memenuhi kaidah urf yakni: 1. mengandung kemaslahatan yang logis; 2. berlaku umum pada masyarakat atau minimal di kalangan sebagian besar; dan 3. tidak bertentangan dengan nash. Dalam ekonomi islam sendiri, jual beli tanpa timbang atau taksiran (ba’i jizaf) diperbolehkan asalkan memenuhi syarat yakni obyek yang dijual harus ada wujudnya dan dapat dilihat oleh kedua belah pihak, Kedua belah pihak (penjual dan pembeli) tidak mengetahui secara pasti kadar takarannya, Proses taksiran harus dilakukan oleh orang yang sudah ahli (terbiasa), dan yang paling utama adalah tidak merugikan salah satu pihak. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa praktik jual beli sistem untingan di pasar Gambar Wonodadi Blitar adalah transaksi yang sah menurut perspektif ekonomi islam.Kata Kunci : Jual Beli, Ba’i, Untingan, Ba’i Jizaf, Urf, Ekonomi Islam.

Abstract

The purpose of this to examine the Islamic-based marketing strategies used by BMT Surya Kencana Jambon in increasing customer interest in Mudharabah financing products. Mudharabah financing is a form of cooperation between investors (shahibul maal) and business actors (mudharib) with a profit-sharing system based on sharia principles. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with an observational approach, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that marketing strategies are implemented through two approaches, namely offline (distribution of brochures, personal approaches, and business assistance) and online (use of Facebook and WhatsApp Business applications). Marketing is carried out based on Islamic principles such as shiddiq, amanah, tabligh, and fathanah. Although these strategies have successfully attracted customer interest, BMT still faces several challenges, such as low public understanding of Islamic finance, limited human resources, and intense competition with other financial institutions. Therefore, improving financial literacy, developing human resource quality, and implementing technology are crucial factors to ensure the sustainability of ethical Mudharabah financing marketing based on Islamic values.

Abstract

Umat muslim di dunia diprediksi akan terus meningkat hingga tahun 2050, di antara negara-negara dengan populasi muslim, Indonesia menempati posisi teratas sebagai negara dengan jumlah muslim terbesar di dunia, sehingga memiliki potensi untuk menjadi pusat pengumpulan zakat. Namun, kesadaran membayar zakat, khususnya zakat perdagangan, masih tergolong rendah, termasuk di Kabupaten Sumenep. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi niat membayar zakat perdagangan, dengan fokus pada pengaruh pemahaman zakat perdagangan, figur religius, dan kredibilitas lembaga amil zakat, di Kabupaten Sumemep. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan metode regresi linear berganda untuk menguji pengaruh variabel-variabel tersebut secara simultan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan beberapa wawancara singkat dengan sampel yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa, secara simultan, variabel figur religius, pemahaman, dan kredibilitas lembaga amil zakat memiliki pengaruh terhadap niat pedagang di Sumenep Namun, secara parsial, variabel figur religius tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap niat membayar zakat. Sebaliknya, variabel pemahaman pedagang tentang zakat perdagangan memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan. Selain itu, kredibilitas LAZ juga terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat membayar zakat.

Abstract

This study examines Muslim consumer behavior in selecting and purchasing products from RN Buket MSME through the lens of Islamic economics. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with the business owner and 13 Muslim consumers. The findings reveal that consumer purchase decisions are shaped by a combination of rational, emotional, and religious considerations. Products are evaluated based on aesthetics, price, functionality, and alignment with Islamic values. The application of Sharia principles by the business owner, including ensuring product halalness, price transparency, and honesty in promotion, significantly influences consumer trust and satisfaction. Furthermore, the commitment to avoid riba, gharar, and maisir strengthens the MSME’s image as a trustworthy business adhering to Islamic economic principles. The trust cultivated fosters consumer loyalty, reflected in repeat purchases and product recommendations. Overall, implementing Islamic economic principles not only promotes blessings in business practices but also serves as an effective strategy for enhancing trust and loyalty among Muslim consumers toward MSME product.

Abstract

This systematic review study analyzes the factors influencing food waste in various countries from the perspective of Hifzhul Bi'ah. The problem of food waste is a significant challenge because it impacts global food availability. From an Islamic ethical perspective, this phenomenon contradicts the principles of Hifzhul Bi'ah (Environmental Jurisprudence), which aims to realize the public good and prevent damage (israf) on earth. This study used a Systematic Review method based on PRISMA guidelines, reviewing 15 articles published between 2020–2025, predominantly from Indonesia. Most studies applied the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM PLS) methodology. Key factors that consistently influence food waste are Attitude, Subjective Norms, and Behavioral Control, as well as additional factors relevant to the moral aspects of Hifzhul Bi'ah, such as Religiosity and Environmental Awareness. The findings indicate that food waste is a multifactorial phenomenon, involving internal psychological/moral and external social/economic dimensions. A holistic and contextual mitigation strategy is needed, which explicitly integrates the sharia guidance of Hifzhul Bi'ah, to encourage sustainable anti-waste behavior and support the achievement of the SDGs

Abstract

Indonesian Employment Services Companies can play an important role in improving the community's economy, especially from a sharia economic perspective. From a sharia economic perspective, this is very important because investment in human resources is considered a better investment than investment in goods and capital. By improving the quality of the workforce, the Indonesian Employment Services Company can make a greater contribution in developing more productive economic sectors, such as the service and industrial sectors. By paying attention to these aspects, the Indonesian Employment Services Company can help build a more inclusive, fair and sustainable economy, which is in line with sharia economic goals. This research was conducted with the aim of, first. To find out the role of Private Indonesian Migrant Worker Placement Implementers in sending Indonesian Migrant Workers abroad which includes the recruitment process, provision, departure and working relationships with agents abroad. Second. To find out the role of the Indonesian Employment Services Company in improving the economy of the study community at the Mulia Laksana Sejahtera Limited Liability Company, Ponorogo Branch. The results of this research, first, are that Private Indonesian Worker Placement Implementers have an important role in providing employment opportunities through sending Indonesian Workers abroad. The Implementer of Private Indonesian Worker Placement is responsible for carrying out good recruitment, providing provision and training, ensuring safe and legal departure, as well as protecting and paying attention to the welfare of Indonesian Workers. Second, the mechanism for improving the community's economy through Indonesian workers can be carried out by prioritizing income and remittances for Indonesian workers obtained through work that is halal and in accordance with sharia principles. Returning Indonesian workers can strengthen the sharia economy with sharia businesses that will strengthen the halal sector and create jobs in accordance with sharia principles.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Sharia economic analysis of the practice of profit sharing cooperation on broiler chicken farms. This research method uses a qualitative approach by conducting in-depth interviews with broiler chicken breeders who have implemented profit sharing cooperation practices. The data obtained was then analyzed. The results of the analysis show that the practice of profit sharing cooperation in the broiler chicken farming business can be in accordance with sharia economic principles. Profit sharing is a mechanism for fair profit sharing between investors and breeders, where investors provide capital and breeders provide labor and farm management. Profit sharing is carried out based on previously agreed percentages, taking into account the risks and contributions of each party. However, there are several challenges in implementing profit sharing cooperation practices in the broiler chicken farming business. One of them is the difficulty in determining the value and fair distribution of results, especially in the face of fluctuations in feed prices and the availability of broiler chickens on the market. Apart from that, an incomplete understanding of sharia economic principles is also an obstacle in implementing this practice.

Abstract

Food is a basic human need. A person is given complete freedom to consume whatever they need. However, when making purchasing decisions, a Muslim is not permitted to consume food that is not halal (haram). It is feared that the rise of imported processed food circulating in Indonesia will trigger Muslim communities to buy processed food not based on the halal label but only considering the price of the product. This type of research is field research using quantitative methods. The technique used in sampling in this research is Non Probability. The number of samples used was 100 respondents, namely the Muslim community in Metro City. With multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 23 which functions to prove the research hypothesis. The results of this research show that the halal label variable has a partial and significant effect on purchasing decisions and the price variable has a partial and significant positive effect on purchasing decisions. Then, through the F test, the halal label and price simultaneously influence the decision to purchase imported processed food products. This effect is explained by the large significant level of the halal label and the price of 0.000 which is less than 0.1 or tcount>ttable (21.752) > (2.36
