Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach, data analysis using the Miles Huberman and Saldana interactive model with steps: 1). Data collection, 2). Data condensation, 3). Presentation of data, and 4). Drawing conclusions. For data validity using Triangulation and Member check. There are 2 triangulations used, namely, source triangulation and method triangulation. Findings: 1). Planning of teaching resources999: at the beginning of each school year the school makes a plan of activities and school budgets in which there are activities regarding the needs and development of teaching resources and planning for recruitment, first analyzing the mapping of lesson hours so that the needs of teaching staff are known. 2). Recruitment and Selection at SMA IT Nurul Falah Bandar Lampung: a). recruitment patterns applied internally. b) selection carried out includes administrative selection and interviews. 3). Development and Training at SMA IT Nurul Falah Bandar Lampung: To improve and develop the potential of educators (teachers), the school conducts training such as In House Training (IHT), besides that the school also provides opportunities for educators (teachers) to further improve and develop their potential by participating in activities / workshops outside the school in the hope that it can have a positive effect on the progress of the school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Madrasah Principal's Leadership in Improving Teacher Performance at MAN 1 Metro City. Leadership is the process of the activity of someone who has the art or ability to influence, coordinate, move individuals without being forced from any party so that they can work together regularly in an effort to achieve common goals that have been set or formulated. This research uses descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and document studies. The subjects in this study were the Principal, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Infrastructure and Teachers. The data analysis technique is by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. While testing the validity of the data using source triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The leadership of the Madrasah Principal in influencing teacher performance, by: participating in giving an example not an order, for example by arriving early and leaving last and forming a team work. (2) The leadership of the Madrasah Principal in mobilizing teacher performance. namely by improving the quality of teachers, by providing opportunities to attend training, workshops and also training such as the MGMP. (3) the leadership of the Madrasah Principal in motivating teacher performance. give prizes to teachers who are exemplary and achievers, pay more attention, for example there is a sick teacher who is visited and given motivation and allowances. (4) Leadership of the Madrasah Principal in communicating teacher performance. by creating good communication between teams. Use an interpersonal communication style, because communication is very vital in the leadership wheel, so it must be in accordance with what will be conveyed to the team.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the principal's leadership style, organizational culture on the performance of teachers at Muhammadiyah 3 Junior High School in Bandar Lampung. This research uses a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. The analysis used in this study is using regression analysis to test the influence between the independent variable on the dependent variable. The results of this study assessed by teachers as respondents have very good results, namely the average or mean 80, median with a score of 80, mode 80. Judging from the calculation of the regression equation with the results of a significant value of 0.000 <0.005. t count value 4.375> t table 2.03693. So it means that there is a significant influence between the principal's leadership style on teacher performance. The constant B1 is positive, then the principal's leadership style has a positive effect on teacher performance by 0.395 or 39.5%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the variables of managerial ability of the madrasa head, work climate and work motivation on the performance of teachers of the State Madrasa Ibtidaiyah in Bandar Lampung. Madrasas that are the object of this research are MIN 1, MIN 5 and MIN 6 in Bandar Lampung. The data used in this study used primary data obtained from questionnaire data distributed to teachers working in MIN 1, MIN 5 and MIN 6 Bandar Lampung who have civil servant status for more than 3 years. The sample used was 50 respondents. The sample withdrawal used by the author is Non Probability Sampling with Purposive Sampling method. The results of the study simultaneously showed that all the independent variables, namely the managerial ability of the madrasa head, work climate and work motivation together had an effect on the performance of teachers of the State Madrasa Ibtidaiyah in Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

At SMP Negeri 2 SukoharjoPringsewu, the teaching of Islamic religious education follows an Islamic-based education system. The class hours in the morning are dedicated to Islamic religious education, where Islamic educational theories are incorporated, covering lessons on the Qur'an, hadith, moral creed, and fiqh. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection is done through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis involves data reduction, followed by presenting it in a descriptive form and verifying it to draw conclusions. The study aims to analyze, identify, and describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Islamic religious education at SMP Negeri 2 SukoharjoPringsewu. The findings of this study indicate the following: The planning of Islamic religious education learning at SMP Negeri 2 SukoharjoPringsewu tends to follow a technological concept, emphasizing techniques that foster cognitive behavior and constructive theories to address teaching problems, particularly concerning 'ámaliyah' learning competencies. The teacher employs scientific lecture methods to read, describe, and design Islamic values, using lesson planning theory to encourage students to explore literature related to da'wah methods. The implementation of Islamic religious education learning at SMP Negeri 2 SukoharjoPringsewu adopts the ROPES model, comprising review, overview, presentation, exercise, and summary. The evaluation of Islamic religious education learning at SMP Negeri 2 SukoharjoPringsewu involves assessing the learning tools using observation and interview data.

Abstract

One of the goals of the national education system is to form a noble character in students. However, in reality there are still many cases of violations involving school-age children. Therefore, the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) is planning a Strengthening Character Education (PPK) program by appointing several schools as pilots in implementing character education. One such pilot school is MAN 1 Bandar Lampung, which serves as an example for other madrasas. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data is then analyzed by reduction and presented in the form of a verified description to draw conclusions.The purpose of this research is to analyze, find, and describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of character education at MAN 1 Bandar Lampung. The research results show the following:Planning to strengthen character education at MAN 1 Bandar Lampung involves several steps. First, determine the character values that will be developed in schools. Next, do the preparation of educators and education. Then, review documents related to the implementation of strengthening character education. Furthermore, conducting policy outreach to all school members, parents of students, and related communities.The implementation of strengthening character education at MAN 1 Bandar Lampung is carried out in three main ways. First, integrating character education content into all planned subjects and activities. This approach combines integrated models in all subjects with supplementary models, such as extracurricular activities, guidance and counseling services, as well as student coaching activities. In addition, character education is also integrated into daily activities at school through habituation and example, as well as building communication and collaboration between schools and parents of students.Evaluation of character education at MAN 1 Bandar Lampung is carried out in several forms. First, the program evaluation is reported directly to the Department of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. Furthermore, the evaluation is related to the process of implementing strengthening character education in schools. And finally, the evaluation is related to the performance results of implementing character education by students.With the Strengthening Character Education program at MAN 1 Bandar Lampung, it is hoped that it will make a positive contribution in shaping the noble character of students, as well as being a good example for other madrasas in carrying out character education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of Islamic religious education curriculum at Insan Robbani IT Junior High School in North Lampung, including the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research used a qualitative approach with data triangulation through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results show that the success of curriculum management is supported by regular evaluation of the previous curriculum, the formation of a curriculum development team involving various stakeholders, and the integration of Islamic values in learning. Evaluation is conducted holistically, covering academic aspects and student character building. The findings provide an important contribution for integrated Islamic schools in improving the quality of curriculum management to support Islamic values-based education.

Abstract

The study aims to determine and analyse the implementation of strategic management in the tahfidz program at MTs N 2 Bandar Lampung. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection methods used were interview, observation, and documentation. The collected data were analysed through data reduction procedures, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Data validity test was conducted by triangulation. The results of the study found that: 1) The formulation of the strategy for developing the Qur'an tahfizh program, namely the vision of realising religious people and the mission of developing the potential of students according to their interests and talents and increasing the competence of students through intensive coaching both academic and non-academic. The goal is to produce students who have the character of memorising the Qur'an, facilitate students in learning to memorise the Qur'an and equip students with the knowledge of Tahfidz Al-Qur'an as capital for further schooling. The strengths are the teaching staff or mentors, quite a lot of enthusiasts, full support from the madrasa head. The weaknesses are the ups and downs of student enthusiasm and motivation, the absence of dormitories. The opportunities are support from parents, career paths for students for further schooling, and a better image of the institution. 2) Implementation of the development strategy of the fullday Al-Qur'an tahfidz class program, namely the fullday Al-Qur'an tahfidz class program that has been formulated and implemented including the targets to be achieved. Routine activities on Monday-Thursday at 14.00-16.00. Memorisation and muroja'ah, sima'an, memorisation test, certificate collection and tabarukan. The fullday Qur'an Tahfidz class is headed by Aisyah. There is no difference between the culture or habits carried out by regular students and Tahfidz Al-Qur'an students. the leadership style in the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program is an analytical leader. 3) Evaluation of the development strategy of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program is a review carried out directly and also periodically, namely meetings every 2 months. Tahfidz with the most enthusiasts at MTs N 2 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

The integration of the values of faith and piety in the education curriculum is very important to shape the character of students who are more religious and noble. This study aims to determine the Implementation of the Imtaq Program in Improving the Religious Understanding of State Junior High School Students in Bandar Lampung City. Implementation is an action, application or implementation of a plan that has been prepared carefully and in detail to achieve the objectives of the activity to run effectively. Imtaq is a tool that will guide education towards its original goal of producing a knowledgeable generation of believers who are able to compete successfully and fear Allah SWT. Religious understanding is a learning process in which a person is able to understand the religious values he adheres to so that he can practice these values in his attitude and behaviour. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that the Imtaq program at school has a positive impact because it succeeds in providing knowledge, experience, and religious practice as well as being a value of worship for students. The Imtaq program is able to touch values that can be used for real life for the benefit of students themselves and in social life. The Imtaq program is able to create peaceful situations and conditions, prevent students from negative associations, and fortify them with faith and piety.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the program of strengthening the values of religious moderation in students of Nashihuddin Islamic Boarding School in Bandar Lampung. Religious moderation is an important concept that emphasizes a middle and balanced attitude in carrying out religious teachings, which supports diversity and tolerance. This research uses a qualitative approach with interview, observation, and documentation methods to collect data from various sources, including leaders, administrators, and students of the boarding school. The results show that the programs to strengthen religious moderation at Nashihuddin Islamic Boarding School have succeeded in increasing interfaith tolerance, strengthening intercultural relations, and increasing the social involvement of students. In addition, these programs also have a positive impact on the image of the boarding school in the eyes of the surrounding community, as well as contributing to local social and economic development. Santri are taught to understand and respect religious diversity, which helps to reduce interfaith tensions and promote peace and tolerance. The article also identifies some challenges in the implementation of these programs, such as the need to update the education curriculum to include more materials on religious moderation, as well as the need for specialized training for staff and teachers.Recommendations include developing cooperation with other educational institutions, government agencies and civil society organizations to expand the positive impact of religious moderation values. Thus, this article concludes that strengthening the values of religious moderation in Islamic boarding schools is very important to shape the character of santri who are inclusive, tolerant, and contribute positively to society. Continuous efforts and support from various stakeholders are needed to improve the effectiveness of these programs.
