Abstract

Taman Lalu Lintas Ade Irma Suryani Nasution is one of the first traffic-themed educational attractions in Indonesia with the concept of a theme park. The purpose of making this park is to increase traffic safety awareness for young children. This research was conducted to find out the tourist attractions in the park, and the implementation of child-friendly aspects considering that the main target of this park is children aged 0-13 years. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection techniques are carried out by direct observation, documentation, and interviews. The results show that the tourist attraction in the park follows the concept of educational tourism which presents attractions and facilities regarding basic traffic that can be learned by visiting tourists by learning while playing. As well as the existence of child-friendly indicators that are applied to the implementation of educational tourism at Taman Lalu Lintas Ade Irma Suryani Nasution by looking at the factors of Safety, Health, Comfort, Flexibility, Security, and Aesthetics which can make tourists feel free to travel in Taman Lalu Lintas Ade Irma Suryani Nasution.

Abstract

Rafting is one of the sport challenge and it has high rish. It is necessary need guide security an safety procedures before doing rafting. Rafting guide is needed in his activity and it must has acompetency. This research uses a simple regression analysis techniques, the variabels tha is used are competency assembling influences positively and significantly toward the tourist satisfaction as hypothesis through verificative and descriptive quantitative method. The total sample of this research is 98 respomdemts through simple random sample method. The instrument that is used to collect the data is questionnaires. The result shows that the all questions are valid above 0,30 and reliable because it is above 0,70. As descriptively, the competency is generally “good” with average3,64 of 1-5 scale and the tourist satisfaction visit shows “good anough” result with average 3,15 of scale 1-5 scale. Mean while. The result of verificative analysis show determination coefficient (R2) in the amount of 0,370 or 37%, the rest (epsilon) is 63% which is other variabel that has not been researched. The result of the hypothesis examine shows that there are positive and significant influence among the variabels of competence toward the variabel satisfaction of tourist, which the significancy either partially (t test) and simultaneous (F test) is 0,000 less than 0,05.

Abstract

Bandung is one of the cities in Indonesia that has various tourist destination. One of the flagship tourist destinations is Tebing Keraton, located in Ir. H. Djuanda Forest Park Area. Shortcomings in terms of planning, security, and development at Tebing Keraton encourage the needs of strategies and efforts to enhance its attractiveness. Therefore, this research aims to determine the conditions and development strategies of Tebing Keraton through the 5A concept. Method used in this research is qualitative descriptive with data collection through observation, interview, and documentation. Technique of analysis are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Findings of the research show the tourism potential at Tebing Keraton that has fulfilled the principles of a tourist destination. First aspect is “something to see” through the view of natural landscapes, such as hills, pine forest, sunrise, and sunset view. Second aspect is “something to do” through its function as trekking and cycling route, camping area, and photography. Third aspect is “something to buy” with the presence of stalls around Tebing Keraton area. Development strategies to enhance tourism attractiveness are pursued through 5A Concept, Attraction, Accessibility, Accommodation, Amenities, and Activities, through maintenance and development of main and supporting facilities in the site area. Development strategies are aimed to increase its attractiveness and comfort, security, and safety for the tourists.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the financial performance of the Grand Pacific Hotel is for the 2019–2022 period by analyzing the Hotel Financial Report which describes the financial performance that has been achieved through information on the financial position of the Grand Pacific Hotel. . Using quantitative descriptive methods and data in the form of Financial Reports, consisting of the Profit and Loss Report and Balance Sheet of Grand Pacific Hotel. Testing was carried out based on four categories of financial ratios, namely Liquidity Ratios, Solvency Ratios, Activity Ratios and Profitability Ratios. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the Liquidity Ratio, Solvency Ratio, Activity Ratio and Profitability Ratio of Grand Pacific Hotel for the 2019 - 2022 period regarding the company's financial performance were in good condition.

Abstract

The coffee shop business in Indonesia is currently developing rapidly, especially in big cities such as Bandung, Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan, Bali, Palembang, and several other big cities, of course it is a big opportunity for entrepreneurs to open a business in this field, by various concepts or ideas that aim to attract customers from various circles, several cafes have even appeared in small towns in each region. South Sumatra is one of the 8 provinces producing the best coffee beans in Indonesia, with the dominant type of coffee being Robusta coffee. By seeing this opportunity, in the city of Palembang many coffee shops or what are usually called cafés are starting to appear, not only as a place to just drink a cup of coffee, but also as a place to relax, gather with friends, family, and even become a place to relax. to do a business, one of which is Kopiloka 3.0 Palembang. The function of a menu is to make it easier for visitors to choose what they want to order. A good menu can be seen from the level of sales and contribution in providing profits to the restaurant. Menu engineering is used to find out how much profit and actual food costs are, based on the basic cost and selling price of a product. In this menu evaluation, there are three indicators that will be discussed, namely popularity index, contribution margin, and menu classification. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation studies and literature studies. The research results stated that the Popularity Index for the coffee menu was 88.64% for the HIGH category menu items and 11.34% for the LOW category menu items. The coffee menu items consist of 18 menus, for the HIGH category there are 14 menus and for the LOW category there are 4 menus; The contribution margin of the 18 coffee menu items served is that there are 9 menu items that fall into the HIGH category with a percentage of 58.17%. Meanwhile, 9 other menus fall into the LOW category with a percentage of 41.81%; Menu classification in the coffee menu, namely, there are 8 menu items included in the STAR category with a percentage of 55.24%, 6 menu items included in the PLOWHORSE category with a percentage of 33.4%, 3 menu items included in the DOG with a percentage of 8.41%, and 1 menu item which is included in the PUZZLE category with a percentage of 2.93%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the process of implementing online learning as well as to determine the effectiveness of student learning and to find out whether there is an influence between online learning and the effectiveness of student learning at the Bina Satya Mandiri Tourism Vocational School, Sukabumi. In this research the author used descriptive and verification methods with a quantitative approach and data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature studies. The results of the research show that the implementation of online learning at the Bina Satya Mandiri Tourism Vocational School, Sukabumi, is going quite well, the effectiveness of student learning is going very well and there is a positive and significant influence between online learning on the effectiveness of student learning at the Bina Satya Mandiri Tourism Vocational School, Sukabumi.

Abstract

Cake is favored by people from all walks of life, due to its dominant sweet flavor and soft texture. Efforts to develop pastry products can be made by modifying processed pastry products made from wheat flour. One of them is in making cakes with the substitution of jackfruit seed flour and kluwih seed flour. Assess and develop cake products by utilizing jackfruit seed flour and kluwih seed flour into quality cake products. To achieve these goals, a good research and development method is needed. This Product Research and Development method is the Analysis, Design, Develop or Production, Implementation or Delivery, and Evaluation model and organoleptic test by creating new innovations in the world of pastiseri. The author found 3 different recipe formulations in this study. The author applied with 100% wheat flour substitution, then 50% wheat flour substitution combined with 50% substitution of jackfruit seed flour and kluwih seeds, and with 100% substitution of jackfruit seed flour and kuluwih seeds. The composition of the cake making formula with supporting ingredients of jackfruit seed flour and kluwih seed flour as much as 50% of the ratio has changed which is acceptable to the general public. Modifications to butter cake whose main ingredient is 50% wheat flour and 50% jackfruit seed flour and kluwih seed flour are still acceptable and become new cake innovations in the world of pastiseri.

Abstract

Tourism is a field that is currently rising in rank in driving the community’s economic growth. Where the role of the government is to support in encouraging the growth of the community’s empowerment in tourist villages. The aim of the research is to determine the role of the government in encouraging tourism growth in tourist villages in Bandung City. By encouraging involvement in community empowerment and creating policies, they are intended to support the community empowerment in Bandung City tourist villages. The type of research is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques using triangulation techniques (interviews, observations, and documentation studies). The result of the research shows that the role of the government based on theories is related to the entrepreneurial indicators, coordination and facilitators have been implemented, however in the process of implementing, the results that was obtained was not optimized. Meanwhile, the community’s empowerment with the dimensions of enabling, empowering, and protecting had also been implemented, but there is still a lack of continuous/periodic supervision and innovation in solving problems that occur in tourist villages. The suggestions to these is to build more participatory programs, to make innovations in solving problems and to increase supervision.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of travel motivation and perceived value on interest in visiting Lebakmuncang Ciwidey Tourism Village. This research method uses quantitative methods with descriptive analysis and verifiative analysis. The variables used are travel motivation, perceived value and interest in visiting again. The sample used amounted to 100 respondents, namely tourists who had visited Lebakmuncang Ciwidey Tourism Village. The results of the instrument test showed that all statements were declared valid because the value was above 0.300 and declared reliable because the value was above 0.700. From descriptive research, it is known that travel motivation, perceived value and interest in visiting again as a whole are included in the "good" category. While the verifiative results have a coefficient of determination of 0.802 or 80.20%, the remaining 19.80% is a variable that was not studied in this study. The test results showed that this study had a significant effect both partial and simultaneous.

Abstract

This research examines disaster preparedness in the tourist area of Pangandaran Beach, West Java. Pangandaran Beach is a popular tourist attraction and is located in an area vulnerable to natural disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis. In the face of potential disaster risks and threats, preparedness becomes very important to protect tourists and local communities. However, awareness about preparedness is not always well implemented. This research focuses on the preparedness of tourism stakeholders such as the government, businesses, and tourists in the area. In addition, this research also highlights the role of media representation in conveying information about disaster preparedness, including the potential impact of untrue news or hoaxes. Qualitative methods and "Critical Media Discourse Analysis" are used to reveal the views and experiences of the parties related to disaster preparedness in Pangandaran Beach. The results of this research are expected to contribute to improving preparedness and risk mitigation efforts in the tourist area.
