Abstract

Advances in information and communication technologies have brought about significant changes in various aspects of life, including the world of education. Teachers today are demanded to possess strong technological skills to face challenges and take advantage of opportunities. It is expected that the use of information technology could enhance the skills for hard skill support of teachers in schools. One of the supporting hard skills that teachers should possess is the ability to use Microsoft Excel applications. In addition to basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel teachers are expected to be able to process report scores. By using Microsoft Excel application it is expected to provide ease in calculating or processing student report scores especially for the teachers especially the principal teachers. By conducting Microsoft Excel application training, it is expected that teachers can operate Microsoft Excel application in calculating students’ grades or report grades processing.

Abstract

The village of Sialangrampai, located in Kulim District, Pekanbaru City, is an area with strategic potential in agriculture, UMKM development, and Malay cultural preservation. However, UMKM in the region still face various obstacles, including irregularities in financial record-keeping, limited marketing access, and low utilization of digital technology. To address these issues, the MBKM FISIP Riau University Real Work Lecture Program (KUKERTA) was implemented for 50 days, from June 23 to August 12, 2025, with the main objectives of increasing UMKM capacity, digital literacy, creative education, and strengthening local culture. The program implementation methods included surveys and problem mapping, seminars, training, mentoring, and field activities. The results included the registration of 10 UMKM on Google Maps, improved product branding, financial literacy seminars attended by dozens of business owners, tutoring activities for 20 children, leadership training for 35 students, and Zapin dance training involving 30 children. In addition, this program also produced social initiatives in the form of providing trash bins, installing educational information boards, and social-religious activities. The impact of this program included increased digital skills among the community, increased awareness of business management among business owners, increased participation in education, and the preservation of Malay culture. With the active involvement of the community, this activity showed that the synergy between universities, communities, and the government plays an important role in realizing sustainable empowerment.

Abstract

This article describes the implementation of the Ecobrick program in creating the nameplate “Timbulun Tujuh” located in Nagari Sibakur, Tanjung Gadang District, Sijunjung Regency. This program is part of the community service activity of Universitas Negeri Padang students through the Community Service Program (KKN), focusing on plastic waste management and environmental preservation. The main purpose is to transform plastic waste into environmentally friendly constructive materials with practical value, while at the same time promoting local identity through visual media. The methods applied include community socialization, plastic waste collection, ecobrick production, as well as the design and installation of the nameplate. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews with local residents and village officials, and documentation during the process. The results show that the community, especially the younger generation, became more aware of the importance of plastic recycling and actively participated in the ecobrick and nameplate-making process. Beyond producing a functional and artistic nameplate, this activity also raised environmental awareness and strengthened local identity in Nagari Sibakur. The program implies the need for similar initiatives to be continued on a wider scale as part of community-based environmental education.

Abstract

Sanden subdistrict is one of the subdistricts in Bantul Regency. Based on the preliminary study that has been conducted, the participation coverage of husbands as MOP contraceptive accepters in the District is low. Family Planning (FPA) is one of the important programs in efforts to control population growth as well as improve the well-being of families and communities. Among available contraceptive methods, MOP has been a popular choice for men who have decided to terminate their reproductive ability. MOP is a minor surgical procedure that stops the flow of sperm from the testicles to the male reproductive tract. Although this procedure is considered an effective method of birth control, there are still many factors influencing the acceptance rate and use of MOP in various communities. This dedication to the community aims to to apply Health promotion its links in an attempt to increase husbands’ participation as MOP accepters through social support factors, attitudes, and husbands’ intentions that influence a husband’s decision to accept MOP as a contraceptive method. The implementation of this activity was carried out in three stages namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The external result of this devotion is in the form of publication articles resulting from devotion to the public. This activity was followed by 15 participants. Based on the results of the pretest it was obtained that the average pretest score of the participants was 68 whereas after conducting the material administration and baby massage demonstration, the posttest score on the participants increased to 82.

Abstract

This dedication program aims to enhance the awareness and competence of prospective Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) teachers in conserving flora biodiversity through educational tourism approach as a science learning medium. Activities were implemented in the Banjarbaru City Botanic Garden, which is a natural laboratory rich in local and endemic flora, with an integrative approach including material delivery, field observation, as well as competency evaluation. Participants consisted of prospective students of MI teachers who were mentored to identify plants, understand ecosystems, and integrate local wisdom-based environmental conservation values. The methods employed create engaging, in-depth, and sustained learning experiences. Results showed a significant improvement in the participants’ ability in composing science learning activities that were contextual, innovative, and based on scientific observation. Additionally, participants showed positive attitudes towards environmental sustainability and high enthusiasm for implementing this learning model in their future school. These activities not only impact on improving pedagogical competencies, but also form caring teachers and become agents of change in preserving biodiversity in primary education environments. This model can serve as a reference for other community engagements focused on conservation and first-hand experience-based science learning.

Abstract

Background, Training program on aloe vera drink manufacturing and utilization of jasmine oil for soap in Sukolilo District is an excellent initiative to empower the community, where it is expected to positively impact on economic empowerment in Sukolilopa diverse district through improvement of pempiteran. One of those commodities is in aloe vera and nettle oil. In creative hands aloe or aloe vera and safflower oil are conjured into fresh drinks and soaps of enormously enticing economic value. In fact, nowadays aloe vera drink has been able to penetrate the market all the way outside the island. Cultivation of aloe vera plant is becoming more and more common in society, making this a potential to be developed. Many people like aloe vera products this makes it a very suitable product to develop as well as be an alternative to increase the income of the people, especially the housewives to help reeconomize the family. Similarly, the utilization of lead waste into soap is an economic opportunity for the community. Methods : Training, practice as well as accompanying and monev in making aloe vera drink which has high economic value and can be sold in packaged form. And is a product that can be consumed daily with high nutritional value. Activity outcomes (1) Have skills in processing aloe vera drink as well as making soap from jasmine oil. (2). Produminman aloe vera varies flavors as well as attractive packaging, (3) Shariah-based enterprise management documents and affords venture development capital, (4) Publication in Journal of Devotion to society (5). Abstract

Women play a strategic role in nation building, both through their contribution to the economic sector and in giving birth to a healthy generation of successors. The KKN program of UMT d Karang Tengah District integrates eco-friendly SME training with reproductive health education as a form of women’s empowerment. Community empowerment through environmentally based Small and Medium Micro Enterprises (SMEs) constitutes one of the strategies in enhancing economic self-reliance while safeguarding nature’s sustainability. However, the sustainability of women SME actors’ enterprises is inextricably linked to their health conditions, particularly reproductive health. Muhammadiyah Tangerang University’s Integrated Real Work Tuition (RTL) program in Karang Tengah District aims to enhance women’s capacity through environment-based training of SMEs and reproductive health education. Methods include skills training, health extension, workshops, companionship, as well as formation of neighborhood-based enterprise groups. Results show there is an improvement in production and marketing skills of MSMEs, an increase in reproductive health knowledge (menstrual health, family planning, adolescent nutrition of girls and pregnant mothers), as well as the formation of a more holistic ecosystem of empowerment. increasing mothers’ skills in processing organic waste, increasing awareness of maintaining reproductive health, the formation of waste banks, as well as the growth of a group of eco-friendly SMEs integrated with reproductive health education. The program contributes to women’s empowerment, family economic strengthening, and the achievement of Indonesia’s glorious generation. The program asserts that reproductively healthy and economically empowered women are key to the creation of Indonesia’s golden generation.

Abstract

The purpose of this devotional is to impart knowledge to congregational treasurers, categorical vessels and auxiliary bodies on the importance of financial recording in church financial management. Approach techniques carried out were seminars and simulations or face-to-face training. It is hoped that this dedication will impact the members of the GPI Papua Fakfak congregation namely improvement on church finances and the application of financial recording to achieve financial management transparency.

Abstract

Infant massage is a touch stimulation that has many benefits for the health and growth of infants, including increased weight gain, sleep quality, and emotional bonding between mother and baby. Based on a preliminary study in Bunder Village, Cikupa District, Tangerang Regency, it was found that most mothers do not have adequate knowledge and skills regarding correct and safe infant massage techniques. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide practical knowledge and skills to mothers in Bunder Village about infant massage. The implementation method includes interactive counseling, demonstrations, and direct practice of infant massage guided by expert speakers. This activity was carried out on [Implementation Date, e.g.: August 18, 2024] at [Implementation Location, e.g.: Bunder Village Community Hall] involving [Number of Participants, e.g.: 35] mothers. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in mothers' understanding and skills regarding infant massage. It is hoped that this training can improve the practice of infant massage at home, contribute to optimal health and growth of infants, and strengthen the emotional bond between mothers and their babies.

Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) is a regular agenda in the field of service to society conducted by students of UIN Alaudin Makassar under the appointed Guiding Lecturer KKN. KKN became a vessel for learning about how to be part of society and became our own space for us students to practice firsthand the sciences and theories that have been obtained from the lecture bench, in Rancameong, Babakan Penghulu Village, Bandung District, Cinambo District. The activities carried out in are activities based on the survey results and potential and existing problems in the KKN location. The activities contribute actively in solving problems of the Village which include raising legal, educational, religious, social, and health awareness. As for the work program that has been implemented namely the Festival of righteous children, Legal Counseling, Teaching Learning, Devotional Work, and Gymnastics together these work programs have been successfully implemented thanks to the collaboration between KKN students from UIN Alauddin Makassar and the entire talent community Ranhulume Village, Bandung City.
