Abstract

The General Election Commission (KPU) of XYZ  Regency supports the existence of information systems and well-functioning IT within an organization, which can help achieve its goals and objectives. The Program and Data Subdivision at KPU XYZ  Regency is one of the subdivisions that implements an Information System using the Voter Data System (Sidalih) to enhance the utilization of IT and assist in realizing targets and achieving objectives related to data management and operational services. Sidalih requires an audit to evaluate, measure the level of capability, and provide recommendations that have not yet been assessed for the current system. The audit standard to be used is the Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) 5, which aligns with Sidalih as the information system is currently operational. The results obtained from the Voter Data Information System, referring to the Deliver, Service, and Support (DSS) domain, indicate a capability level of 2, which is Managed Process, while the target level to be achieved is 3, which is Established Process. This is based on a gap analysis that broadly indicates the need to improve the capability level from the existing condition, focusing on enhancing activities with recommendations to maximize what is already functioning well and to carry out activities aimed at achieving the objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to implement a Zero Client network using vCloudPoint devices at PT XYZ using the Action Research method. The purpose of this study is to improve operational efficiency and information technology management in the company through an iterative approach involving planning, action, observation, and reflection. The method used allows for continuous improvement during the implementation process. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Zero Client can reduce IT infrastructure costs, improve system stability, and facilitate device management through a centralized server using Windows Server 2019 and vMatrix vCloudPoint. Network devices such as Ruijie routers and switches support reliable connectivity to distribute data efficiently. This study concludes that the implementation of Zero Client provides an effective solution to improve productivity and operational efficiency at PT XYZ. These findings provide a basis for further research on the development of a broader Zero Client model and its integration with the latest security technologies

Abstract

Pattern Recognition is an important area in computer science that maps data to predefined concepts. Support Vector Machines (SVM) are particularly effective due to their ability to identify the optimal hyperplane that separates two classes in the feature space. Unlike neural networks, which look for a separating hyperplane, SVM determines the best hyperplane in the input space. SVM primarily serves as a linear classifier but can also address non-linear problems through the kernel trick, enabling high-dimensional operations. This paper delves into the foundational principles of SVM and its applications, specifically in classifying heart disease symptoms in individuals. The research includes the implementation of Gaussian Radial Basis Function (RBF) and Polynomial (POLY) kernel functions, along with various parameters affecting SVM performance. Additionally, a comparative analysis with Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) for data classification is presented to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed kernel functions.

Abstract

: E-Leaning is a primary need for carrying out teaching and learning activities, especially at universities. Galuh Ciamis University has an E-Learning called "Geulis", but the interface design is still very stiff and doesn't look comfortable when the user uses the E-Learning. Therefore, the need for user interface analysis is an important factor in using design so that it looks attractive, adjusted based on the user's needs and feelings. This research uses the Kansei Engineering method which can translate user feelings into a product design with comparison specimens from UNIGA Learning, DCI Learning Management System, My Best – Elearning BSI, Elearnig UNPER, MUCIS Learning System, E-Learning Universitas Bakti Tunas Husada E- Learning at Bakti Tunas Husada University, IAID Darussalam, and E-Learning UMC. The list of Kansei words related to web displays consists of 8 words, while the specimens used are 8 specimens which will be used as benchmarks in making the questionnaire. The participants involved in this research were 60 students at Galuh Ciamis University. It was concluded from the results of the questionnaire that there were similarities with the results of Principal Component Analysis (PCA), where in PCA there were two influential concepts which were interpreted through the x axis in the form of the "Clear" concept with a dynamic value of 0.944.

Abstract

As time goes by technological progress occurs so rapidly that it helps us in various ways. One of them is creating an information system that can help us in processing data. In the world of education, such as at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) Miftahul Ulum, we also need a system that can help in entering data such as student data and attendance data to make it easier for teachers or staff to manage data. Therefore, an attendance information system is needed that allows managing attendance data and other data in an orderly manner to minimize the occurrence of data loss or incorrect data entry and can process the required reports. This research was created using the waterfall method using the PHP programming language by utilizing the Laravel framework as the system display, the MySQL database as data storage, and the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as the system design

Abstract

Purwakarta Regency has a variety of interesting tourist destinations, but the large number of choices often makes it difficult for tourists to determine the location that suits their preferences. This research aims to build a web-based decision support system (SPK) with the Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) method to help select the best tourist destinations. The research methods include problem identification, literature study, data collection, implementation of the COPRAS method, and system testing. The criteria used in the evaluation process include cost, distance, tourist facilities, operating hours, accessibility, and reviews of digital maps. The results of the implementation of the COPRAS method show that Panenjoan Village is the destination with the highest ranking with a value of 1,000. This system can make it easier for tourists to choose a destination that suits their needs

Abstract

The growing cafe industry in Purwakarta presents challenges for customers in choosing the right cafe due to various factors such as distance, food prices, and service quality. This research aims to develop a Decision Support System using the MOORA method to efficiently recommend the best cafes based on predefined criteria. The research involved collecting data about cafes, analyzing the problem, and applying the MOORA method to rank cafes according to relevant criteria, such as distance, price, facilities, and service quality. The findings show that the MOORA method is effective in ranking cafés in Purwakarta, with cafés that get the highest score fulfilling the criteria of distance, price, facilities, and service quality, thus being recommended as the best choice for the community. This study concluded that the best café recommendation in Purwakarta is café salbeans park with the highest score of 0.093. In other words, café salbeans park is the best alternative. and it is recommended that this system be widely implemented and updated regularly to include the latest information about cafes, improving user experience in decision making.
