Abstract

In the current era, technological advancements in Indonesia have created extensive resources for information and communication for the community also equal with basic human needs such as clothing and food. SMKN 2 GARUT is a favorite school in Garut city, with a focus on academic and non-academic achievements. Despite the school utilizing technology such as a website, the alumni data management system, including tracer studies, is still conducted manually. This research for develop a website-based tracer study information system for SMKN 2 GARUT. Currently, alumni data is collected through the filling of biodata forms, which are then submitted to the Counseling guidance for consolidation and management. After verification, the data is sent to Headmaster. However, the system still relies on manual processes with the use of poorly managed gform links. This leads to delays in information delivery, ease of data duplication, and human error risks. In this research, the researcher employs the prototype development method, which includes requirement analysis, prototype design, system implementation, program coding, and testing. The tracer study system is developed using PHP 7.0 programming language with CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database. Based on the conducted development analysis, this application improves the average time efficiency compared to the previous system. Additionally, the use of this application reduces costs in generating alumni data reports and facilitates alumni data management at SMKN 2 GARUT. This tracer study information system effectively manages alumni data, provides appropriate control, and can be accessed through internet technology.

Abstract

Garut University has a Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) responsible for overseeing the quality assurance cycle, but it still uses manual archiving, leading to data accumulation and slow performance. This research aims to develop an internal quality assurance system based on a smart system to improve the quality of higher education. The research method uses a waterfall approach with stages of data collection, system analysis, application design, and implementation. The system is designed to effectively distribute and store LPM data and information. The research results show that this information system can help improve the quality of higher education by providing quick and accurate information related to data standards and audits.

Abstract

An information system for inventory of goods and product sales is a must that must be owned by a private or state agency engaged in the education sector, especially in Vocational High Schools (SMK) which have products that can be sold so that transaction data related to inventory can be processed. effectively and efficiently, it is known that the implementation of the inventory system and product sales at SMK Ma'arif Sukawening still uses manual data processing systems such as the length of time to search for item data, product sales, product purchase data and search for product stock that has run out or will run out, product purchase returns are not controlled and there are also frequent errors in the process of making reports in calculations, product inventory, and eligibility of goods or products that are still ineffective. To be able to process large amounts of transaction data, special tools are needed to be able to handle it, therefore computers are the right choice from all sides. In terms of speed, accuracy and accuracy with the help of software that supports it, an inventory information system and product sales were built using the RUP (Rational Unified Process) system development method which went through several stages of the process, namely: Inception, Elaboration (expansion/design), Construction (Construction), and Transition (Transition). The result of this research is to build an application that is able to help process transactions more easily and efficiently which can help related parties in carrying out their business activities.

Abstract

Recording the teacher's attendance list is one of the important factors in the management of discipline. Information about teacher attendance can determine learning services and school progress at SMA Informatika Ciamis. Teacher attendance recording tools are needed based on observations made at the school, there are several problems and shortcomings from the attendance system which is usually done manually such as wasteful in the use of paper, time, and energy. Not only that manual attendance input can also experience errors and fraud in the hassle of making a teacher attendance recap and its management. The purpose of this research is to create a presence system using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). This technology will later replace the role of paper and ink to record teacher attendance to make it easier for attendance officers to input practical data because they can retrieve and store attendance data from RFID tags directly, making it easier to report attendance to interested parties. And it can also reduce the use of a lot of presence paper, thereby reducing paper printing costs. This system uses the PHP programming language and the C database language used by MySQL.

Abstract

The use of a decision support system (DSS) can help someone in making accurate and targeted decisions. Many problems can be solved by using this decision support system, one of which is to assess the performance of lecturers. In determining the assessment of lecturer performance, there are several criteria that must be possessed by each individual to be used as an assessment of lecturer perfomace. The method that can be used for this decision support system is the Simple Multi-Attribute Ratting Technique (SMART) method. This study aims to provide an ssessment of the performance of lecturers at STT Wastukancana to improve the quality of internal and external services.

Abstract

Scholarships are a form of appreciation in the form of financial assistance given to individuals or organizations for the work achievements they have produced. The award can be in the form of funding or certain access to an institution in the form of financial assistance for learning activities. In this research, the Simple Additive Weighting method was used to determine which students were entitled to receive the scholarship by assigning criteria and weights to each student so that it looked more detailed. Of the six alternatives used as case examples in this research, there is one alternative that is recommended as a student who is entitled to a scholarship, namely the alternative with a calculation result of 1.9.

Abstract

XYZ University as an educational institution that is responsible not only for academic quality, but also for equal access to higher education, has established various scholarship programs. However, a fair and transparent selection process for scholarship recipients is still a challenge. Unclear criteria, poorly defined weights, and an unstructured decision-making process can result in injustice for prospective students who should be eligible for financial aid. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to develop a Decision Support System (SPK) which can assist in the selection process for underprivileged scholarship recipients. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is a method that can be implemented because it is relatively easy to implement and can provide transparent and accountable results. Based on the calculation results, the student with the highest calculated score, namely 1,400, is a student who is recommended to be entitled to an educational scholarship.

Abstract

Abstract: Corruption is one of the major problems that harms both the country and society, with far-reaching impacts on the economy and social stability. To combat corrupt practices, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a promising tool for detecting and preventing corruption. This article aims to explore how AI can be applied in this context by identifying its potential, challenges, and solutions that can be provided.In terms of detection, AI can analyze large datasets collected from various sources, such as financial transactions, procurement reports, and interactions between government officials. Machine learning algorithms can be used to identify suspicious or unusual patterns that may indicate corrupt practices. Additionally, AI can also be applied in prevention, such as developing automated surveillance systems that provide early warnings of potential irregularities.However, the use of AI in the fight against corruption faces challenges, including issues related to data security, algorithmic bias, and the need for clear regulations. This article concludes that, despite these challenges, AI holds significant potential in strengthening anti-corruption efforts, particularly when combined with appropriate policies. The implementation of AI can be a strategic step in creating more transparent and accountable governance.

Abstract

The Siti Sofiah Sports Hall (GOR) is one of the buildings that rents out facilities for badminton or badminton sports. The ordering or field booking process can be done via telephone, WhatsApp application, or by visiting the location directly. Before making an order, customers first ask about the available fields and sessions on the desired day. The large number of enthusiasts who place orders or field bookings and also recording orders manually often results in recording errors or in one session there is more than one customer ordering in the same field. Based on this, GOR Siti Sofiah needs a field booking application that can make it easier for consumers to see empty schedules and also make the booking process easier. In this research, a web-based application will be built by implementing one of the software development methods, namely Waterfall Method. By building this application, the field ordering process can be better organized and also make things easier for customers and court admins.

Abstract

This research is a result that describes the design of a website-based new student registration information system to improve the current system. The reason on the resultsservations and interviews conducted with sources where providing information regarding the placement of intemship students is still done manually because there are no media or facilities that schools can use to provide registration information to prospective students. Therefore, we need a media that can present information on new student registration at RA Al Khoeriyah. The method used in designing this application is using the waterfall method to make the process of providing information more effective. Then this new student registration website was created by making a design using UML modeling. Before it was developed into a complete application by the developer the design was in the form of a waterfall, first by the validator using a validation sheet and the results obtained in the validation sheet stated that the category obtained in the validation sheet states that the categories obtained are good and very good. So it can be stated that the design of this website-based new student registration information system is worthy of being a reference for further system.
