Abstract

The research aims to know the level of security of WiFi connectivity against deauthentication attacks on Internet of Things (IoT)-based devices. It is done through testing using an external penetration test method. The external penetration test simulates a real external attack without information about the target system and network given. The process starts from accessing the device through Internet or WiFi by the test target. At the same time, the attacker performs Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks onWiFi. The attacker uses Arduino ESP8266 NodeMCU WiFi with Lua programming. To record WiFi activities, the researchers use CommView for WiFi V. 7.0, and the target is Internet Protocol (IP) camera device. The result shows that the communication of the test target with the gateway is lost, but the Media Access Control (MAC) of the test target is still registered at the gateway. Deauthentication attacks cause communication paralysis, and several changes occur, such as an increase in data rate, and change in frequency channel, Distribution System (DS) status, retry bits in frame management, and the sequence number.

Abstract

NComputing adalah perusahaan virtualisasi desktop dengan pertumbuhan tercepat di dunia, dengan lebih dari 70.000 pelanggan dan 20 juta pengguna harian di 140 negara.. Kendala saat ini adalah, rata-rata pengguna produk NComputing di Indonesia masih menggunakan produk versi lama dimana sudah dinyatakan sebagai produk end-of-life (EOL) dan end-of-support (EOS) oleh NComputing. Produk NComputing lawas yang umum masih digunakan saat ini yaitu vSpace 4 atau 6 pada server host dan perangkat L230 atau U170 pada client, Untuk sistem operasi saat ini juga tidak disarankan juga menggunakan Windows Server 2008 atau versi lawas lainnya dikarenakan sudah EOS dimana rentan terhadap isu keamanan saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi ataupun panduan untuk mengembangkan infrastruktur teknologi informasi yang dibangun menggunakan produk NComputing dari versi lawas ke versi terbaru menggunakan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Terdapat fitur-fitur baru pada NComputing versi baru yang memudahkan administrator mengelola jaringan NComputing, didukung dengan sistem operasi Windows Server terbaru yang masih mendapatkan layanan dukungan dari Microsoft, akan tetapi, dilihat dari rincian biaya yang keluar untuk pengembangan ini cukuplah besar dengan menggunakan produk dari Microsoft.

Abstract

Recording the use of consumables in the quality department has not been done consistently and is still done by recording on a piece of paper collection form, then transferring to an excel form, causing errors such as lack of consumable stock before the time the purchase should be made. This causes excess funds and the use of other funds to buy the shortage of consumables needed. This research uses the Extreme Programming (XP) system development model with the Trend Projection method, aiming to overcome existing problems by predicting consumable forecasts based on trends from previous item data. The output of the Trend Projection Method forecasting can help, simplify, and speed up the admin in determining what items are worth buying for use in the next month with a more detailed amount.

Abstract

The existence of a school website is an important means to convey information effectively to students, teachers, parents, and the general public. SDN Utan Kayu Utara 01, located in East Jakarta, has an official website that can be used as a medium for information and communication. This training aims to provide a basic understanding of the importance of websites in education; train participants to manage websites using WordPress, a platform that is easily accessible and user-friendly; support SDN Utan Kayu Utara 01 in creating a digital platform that supports teaching and learning activities and administration. This training is carried out through three main stages, namely preparation, implementation, evaluation and mentoring. The implementation is carried out in one full day (8 hours) consisting of 3 sessions, namely Introduction to Websites and WordPress, Website Management and File Management. Website management training using WordPress at SDN Utan Kayu Utara 01 has produced several significant achievements, both in terms of participant capabilities and infrastructure management. This training has succeeded in improving teachers' technical skills in managing school websites, such as uploading various types of content such as text, images, and videos to beautify and complete the website page. Website management training using WordPress at SDN Utan Kayu Utara 01 has been successfully implemented. From the evaluation, the majority of participants felt that this training was very useful, especially in facing the demands of digitalization of education.

Abstract

This study aims to implement a Zero Client network using vCloudPoint devices at PT XYZ using the Action Research method. The purpose of this study is to improve operational efficiency and information technology management in the company through an iterative approach involving planning, action, observation, and reflection. The method used allows for continuous improvement during the implementation process. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Zero Client can reduce IT infrastructure costs, improve system stability, and facilitate device management through a centralized server using Windows Server 2019 and vMatrix vCloudPoint. Network devices such as Ruijie routers and switches support reliable connectivity to distribute data efficiently. This study concludes that the implementation of Zero Client provides an effective solution to improve productivity and operational efficiency at PT XYZ. These findings provide a basis for further research on the development of a broader Zero Client model and its integration with the latest security technologies

Abstract

The use of networks in conjunction with thin client systems has become an alternative solution for increasing the efficiency of information technology infrastructure in office environments. Several previous studies have examined the benefits of using thin clients, including cost efficiency, data security, and reduced system administration burden. For example, using thin clients can reduce bandwidth consumption compared to using conventional PCs on a local office network. Another study also stated that thin client systems can extend hardware lifespan and significantly reduce total cost of ownership. These studies emphasize the significant potential of using thin clients in creating more efficient and manageable networks. This study aims to test the effectiveness and efficiency of using a thin client-based shared network in a medium-sized office. The methods used were quantitative studies and field experiments, observing network load (bandwidth usage), server performance, and application response times between conventional PC and thin client. The results showed a 78,35% reduction in network load. In conclusion, this study demonstrates that the use of networks combined with a thin client approach not only reduces network load technically but also has a long-term impact on organizational efficiency, device sustainability, and adaptability to more resource-friendly technological developments.

Abstract

The manual new student admissions (PPDB) process in Islamic boarding schools creates various obstacles such as time inefficiency, data input errors, and the risk of archive loss. This study aims to design and implement a web-based digital new student registration system at the Al-Kautsar Mauk Tahfidzul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. The method used is software engineering with a Waterfall model approach, starting from needs analysis, design, development, and evaluation. The results show that the system can speed up the form filling process from 10–15 minutes to 2–3 minutes per participant, as well as improve the accuracy and security of data storage through the integration of Google Apps Script and Google Spreadsheets. The system allows admins to access and filter data in real-time without manual re-input. Trials were conducted through simulations with 10 participants and training was provided to admins to ensure smooth implementation. In conclusion, this web-based student admissions (PPDB) system has a positive impact on the efficiency, transparency, and readiness of Islamic boarding schools in facing the digitalization of educational administration.

Abstract

PT. DBS adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penjualan logam mulia, elektronik, dan logistik. PT DBS senantiasa berupaya untuk menyediakan barang secara tepat waktu dan akurat sesuai dengan permintaan pelanggan demi memenuhi kepuasan para pelanggannya yang melakukan pembelian. Ketepatan pelayanan dalam menyediakan barang sangat penting untuk mencegah terjadinya keterlambatan yang berpotensi fatal dan membuat pelanggan menjadi tidak berminat untuk menggunakan produk yang ditawarkan oleh PT DBS. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan perhitungan sistem penunjang keputusan guna membantu dan memaksimalkan keputusan yang diambil oleh PT. DBS untuk melakukan pengadaan barang. Metode yang dipakai adalah Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Tahapan pada metode TOPSIS adalah 1) Menetapkan alternatif, 2) Menetapkan kriteria, bobot, dan atribut, 3) Membuat normalisasi matriks keputusan, 4) Menentukan normalisasi bobot, 5) Menentukan matriks solusi ideal positif dan solusi ideal negatif, 6) Menentukan Pemisahan, 7) Menentukan nilai preferensi, dan 8) Perankingan. Hasil yang didapat dari analisis ini berupa perangkingan alternatif dari yang paling disegerakan untuk pengadaan barang PT. DBS dimana logam mulia emas dengan merk Antam 10 Gram dengan nilai 0.76705119 menjadi barang yang diprioritaskan dalam pengadaan barang di PT. DBS dan merk Antam 2 Gram dengan nilai 0.207154185 menjadi barang dengan urutan terakhir dari perangkingan tersebut.

Abstract

Dalam era digital yang semakin maju, keamanan komputer menjadi prioritas utama bagi banyak organisasi. Judul penelitian ini, "Pengembangan Keamanan Komputer dengan Teknologi Thin Client dan Domain Controller Dengan Metode Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC)", mencerminkan kebutuhan akan solusi keamanan yang lebih andal dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model keamanan komputer yang menggabungkan teknologi thin client dan domain controller. Metode yang digunakan adalah Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC), yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menunjukkan peningkatan dalam keamanan jaringan dan efisiensi pengelolaan sumber daya IT. Berdasarkan peenjelasan tahapan NDLC tersebut pada subjek penelitian dapat dibuatkan sebagai berikut, yaitu dimana beberapa terminal Thin Client yang terhubung ke sebuah server yang menjalankan sistem operasi Windows Server dan berfungsi sebagai Domain Controller dengan Active Directory. Untuk perangkat Thin Client yang digunakan adalah NComputing dimana pada server di sistem operasi Windows Server tersebut juga terpasang aplikasi controller vSpace LTS dari NComputing. Pengembangan Keamanan Komputer dengan Teknologi Thin Client dan Domain Controller Dengan Metode Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) adalah langkah yang potensial dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan keamanan sistem jaringan. Dengan pendekatan yang tepat, organisasi dapat mengoptimalkan penggunaan teknologi ini untuk mencapai tujuan bisnis mereka dengan aman dan efisien.
