Abstract

This study aimed to describe the potential of traditional snacks in supporting culinary tourism in Bungo Regency, as well as to identify the challenges and preservation strategies. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through direct field observation, in-depth interviews with MSME actors, consumers, and the younger generation, as well as documentation related to the history and existence of traditional snacks. The data obtained were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that traditional snacks such as kue muso, padamaran, takik beruk, kubang boyo and dodol tai minyak possess unique flavors, appearances, and cultural values that have the potential to become tourism attractions. These snacks are still used in traditional and official ceremonies, while also serving as the culinary identity of the region. The challenges faced include the influence of globalization, declining interest among the younger generation, limited innovation, and inadequate digital promotion. The suggested strategies include product and packaging innovation, digital-based promotion, culinary festivals, and the involvement of the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using cooking videos on YouTube on the learning motivation of class XI Culinary Arts students in Pastry and Bakery subjects at SMK Negeri 6 Bungo. In addition, the study also wants to determine the factors that influence the effectiveness of video media and the relationship between video use and student learning motivation. The method used is a quantitative approach with a survey design. The research sample consisted of 31 students selected by purposive sampling. The questionnaire instrument was tested for validity and reliability using SPSS 25, with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.916 for the video use variable and 0.894 for learning motivation, indicating high reliability. The results of the analysis showed that the data were normally distributed and simple linear regression produced the equation Y = 12.804 + 0.888 X. This means that the more intense the use of cooking videos, the higher the students' learning motivation. The hypothesis test confirmed these findings, with a t-value of 9.593 and a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a significant effect. Furthermore, the correlation between video use and learning motivation was very strong, with a Pearson correlation value of 0.872. Overall, this study concluded that using cooking videos on YouTube significantly increased students' learning motivation. Abstract

This study aims to understand strategies for maintaining the existence of Bolu Sawit and public interest in it. Furthermore, this research is expected to contribute to the development of theory and practice related to the regional food industry and the creative economy in Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation. The instrument used in this study was the researcher herself, assisted by the five senses and a notebook for data collection. Five informants were recruited: the owner of Legans Bolu Sawit, the Department of Industry and Trade, and the community. Data description was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that maintaining the existence of Bolu Sawit ultimately requires a long-term commitment from all stakeholders involved. This includes consistent quality control, continuous innovation, and adaptive marketing strategies. Public interest in Bolu Sawit is very high. This interest is driven by a combination of factors: the uniqueness of the product concept, satisfactory sensory quality, proportional value, and pride in the product.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of industrial classes using the Backward Design approach at SMK Negeri 33 Jakarta and its impact on students' career motivation. The Merdeka Curriculum provides flexibility for teachers to design project-based learning according to the needs of the world of work. Through industrial cooperation with PT. Jaddi Foods Group, students gain direct experience in the field of pastry and bakery, thereby improving their practical skills and work readiness. Backward Design is used to ensure that learning objectives are achieved systematically, starting from determining the final outcome, determining the assessment, to planning the learning. The results of the implementation show that students' motivation, interest, and confidence have increased. Supporting factors include collaboration between schools and industry; obstacles include limited facilities and curriculum adaptation. This study recommends sustainable strategies to strengthen the synergy between vocational education and the industrial world.

Abstract

The Teaching Factory (TeFa) is an industry-integrated pedagogical framework aimed at bridging the gap between vocational education and workforce requirements. In culinary arts vocational programs, TeFa implementation is vital for enhancing student competencies through contextualized learning within simulated professional environments. This study investigates the concepts, implementation models, benefits, and strategic challenges of TeFa in the culinary sector via a comprehensive literature review. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, the research analyzes academic literature, journal articles, and relevant policy documents. The results indicate that TeFa significantly improves work-readiness and strengthens both technical and soft skills. However, its success is often constrained by inadequate facilities, curriculum gaps, and limited industry synergy. This study serves as a conceptual reference for the advancement of production-based learning in culinary vocational education.

Abstract

The causes of disorders in children with special needs (ABK) come from various factors, including genetics, complications during pregnancy and childbirth, and exposure to poor environments, all of which require serious attention for prevention and early intervention. Significant gaps are found in inclusive education, where access to facilities, special educators, and financial support for ABK families is still very limited, especially in remote areas. The social stigma attached to ABK is a major obstacle to the acceptance and development of their potential, so a public awareness campaign is needed to create a more inclusive environment. Although legal protection has been regulated in Law Number 8 of 2016, its implementation has not been evenly distributed, and legal advocacy for ABK and their families is still lacking. Therefore, synergy is needed between families, communities, and the government to overcome these challenges, so that ABK rights can be optimally fulfilled and they can develop into empowered individuals.

Abstract

Education is one of the main pillars of social and economic development for a nation, serving as a tool to empower individuals and improve the quality of life in society. In Indonesia, despite various efforts by the government to enhance access to education, disparities in educational access remain a significant issue, particularly in remote areas. This article aims to analyze the disparities in educational access at SDN 112/VI Rantau Kermas, Jangkat District, Merangin Regency, focusing on the challenges faced by students and the school.Through a qualitative approach and secondary data analysis, this study identifies several factors contributing to the disparities in educational access, including inadequate infrastructure, limited human resources, economic factors burdening families, difficult distances and accessibility, as well as limitations in information technology. The research also explores the impact of these disparities on student participation in formal education and their implications for the social and economic development of the local community. Additionally this article offers strategic solutions that can be implemented to improve access to and quality of education at SDN 112/VI Rantau Kermas. These solutions include the construction of adequate educational infrastructure, professional training for teachers, provision of economic assistance to underprivileged families, utilization of educational technology, and mentoring programs between schools in urban areas and remote regions. Thus, this article not only provides a comprehensive overview of the challenges faced in the education sector in remote areas but also presents practical recommendations for enhancing educational access for children in Rantau Kermas

Abstract

This article discusses the development of a cooperative learning model to improve the learning outcomes of sixth grade elementary school students. Developing a Cooperative Learning Model to Improve Learning Outcomes for Class VI Elementary School Students is a classroom action research that aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of cooperative learning models. This research was conducted on 18 sixth grade elementary school students using the classroom action research method. The research results show that the application of the cooperative learning model can significantly improve student learning outcomes, increase learning motivation, and strengthen social interactions. This model is also effective in developing students' critical thinking skills, creativity and communication skills. Therefore, the cooperative learning model can be used as an alternative in the learning process to improve the quality of education.
