The methods used in this study are quantitative and data analysis using the SEM PLS software model. The results of the study were obtained by the Pedagogic Competence pathway on the Performance of Transformational Teachers of 0.344 while the Motivation of Transformational Teachers on the Performance of Transformational Teachers was 0.452. This finding has important implications for teachers in carrying out their duties for the advancement of education. Therefore, further research is needed to explore other factors that affect low teacher performance.

Abstract

This study examined the effects of online Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (O-POGIL) on students’ cognitive learning outcomes in Earth Science. A one-shot pretest-posttest pre-experimental design was employed in the study. The reliable teacher-made test and an adapted academic self-concept survey questionnaire were the instruments used. Descriptive statistics, paired t-test and one sample t-test was used for statistical data analysis. Findings of the study revealed a satisfactory cognitive learning outcomes of students as exposed to O-POGIL. Further results indicated statistically significant difference on students’ cognitive learning outcomes on their pretest and posttest. Significant difference existed between students’ cognitive learning outcomes and the existing competency standard.

Abstract

In the era of educational transformation, digital skills are a crucial aspect for teachers in supporting effective learning. Technological developments have changed the educational paradigm towards digitalization, where the teaching-learning process increasingly relies on various digital tools, software, and systems. However, many teachers still face challenges in mastering digital skills that match the needs and demands of modern learning, which has the potential to affect the quality of education in schools. This research aims to analyze the digital skills needed by teachers in the context of educational transformation. The method used is qualitative research with an in-depth interview and observation approach. The research participants consisted of teachers from various disciplines who taught in Junior High Schools (SMP), with the focus of research conducted at Budi Mulia Junior High School, Bogor. This research lasted from February to March 2025. The results of the study show that teachers need skills in the creation of digital learning modules, digital-based assessment systems, and the creation of learning content, such as animated videos. In addition, teachers need not only training related to the use of technology, but also effective pedagogical strategies in integrating technology into learning. Therefore, the training designed must include technical and methodological aspects so that teachers can optimize the use of technology in the learning process.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of interactive teaching strategies in improving calculus achievement among second-year pre-service teachers, employing a quasi-experimental design. Forty students were purposively sampled and exposed to both traditional direct instruction and interactive pedagogies. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired and independent t-tests, and Cohen’s d to assess instructional impact. Findings indicate that while initial performance in calculus was low, both instructional approaches significantly enhanced student achievement. Direct instruction facilitated systematic skill acquisition, whereas interactive strategies promoted higher engagement and positive learning attitudes. Notably, the interactive approach demonstrated a stronger effect size, suggesting deeper conceptual understanding. The study concludes that a pedagogical blend of direct and interactive methods may offer optimal benefits by integrating structure with active student participation. These findings underscore the importance of responsive, evidence-based instructional design in mathematics education and highlight the transformative potential of interactive strategies in fostering calculus competence.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the trend of revitalization of educational concepts in Indonesia which are derived from the noble philosophy of the nation's culture. Thus, this study intends to conduct a study on classroom management factors based on Serat Wirid Hidayat Jati. This study uses a literature study approach. The researcher acts as the main instrument. Data collection techniques are carried out by collecting documents and analyzing them by classifying, systematizing, and formulating according to the main problem. The results of the study indicate that the factors that influence the implementation of classroom management according to Serat Wirid Hidayat Jati include classroom dynamics, seating arrangements, learning time arrangements, selection of learning locations, temperature settings, lighting, and air and water circulation. Classroom management needs to be adjusted to the characteristics of the objectives, materials and levels of mental maturity to become an alternative to classroom management at the elementary and secondary education levels in Indonesia, which mostly use conventional class models.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of pocket books in improving dental knowledge among 5th and 6th grade students at MI Nurul Hidayah, Gandus Village, Palembang City. The research method used is a pseudo-experiment with a pre and post-test design. There were 60 students in the study, divided into two groups: the control group and the experimental group. These findings suggest that the experimental group's understanding of dental caries before and after using pocket books differed significantly. Children in grades V and VI have increased their awareness of dental caries by 13% and 10%, respectively, thanks to pocket books. As a result, one of the best learning resources to raise awareness of dental caries in children is the pocket book.
