Abstract

In this research, the research approach used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a test data collection method to obtain data about students' reading abilities after learning the Snowball Throwing Model (ST), a questionnaire method to obtain data on the teacher's level of success in implementing the Snowball Throwing Model (ST) learning. ) in the Indonesian language subject reading material, while the observation method is applied when the teacher designs and applies Snowball Throwing (ST) Model learning in learning activities. Data analysis in this research is to fully apply data analysis in PTK, namely through discussion of criteria, scope of research, and visible behavior. Meanwhile, data validity is achieved in three ways, namely extended observation, triangulation (data triangulation, method triangulation and theory triangulation), and discussion with colleagues. Data shows that when teachers teach Indonesian reading material without carrying out class actions in Class IV of Midang 3 State Elementary School, Gunungsari District, West Lombok, the average class score obtained by students is below the Minimum Completeness Criteria score (7.0) where the Minimum Completeness Criteria for Indonesian is 7.5. Meanwhile, after carrying out class actions by applying the Snowball Throwing (ST) Model of learning, the average class score obtained by students was above the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) score, namely 7.6.

Abstract

PT PLN operates in the field of providing electrical energy and one of its goals is to meet consumer needs for electrical energy now and in the future, as well as PLN UID West Java. The initial step is to estimate how much electricity will be sold in the future. For this reason, electricity sales forecasting is carried out which can be taken into consideration by PLN UID West Java in making decisions. This research uses monthly electricity sales data in West Java for the last ten years. This data is not linear and not stationary, so an alternative method is used, namely Artificial Neural Network Backpropagation. Forecasting produces the best network architecture 12-7-1 with a MAPE of 2.965%. This architectural model is used to forecast electricity sales in West Java until August 2024.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect of aerobic exercise on the gross motor development of children aged 5-6 years at TK ST Antonius 2 Medan. This type of research is experimental research with an Only Post-test control Group Design. The population in the study was 6 class B. So the sample in this study was Kindergarten B children, totaling 13 people in the experimental class and 13 people in the control class. This research data was obtained using observation techniques using instrument sheets. The data analysis technique uses non-parametric statistics with the Mann Whitney test. The test results show that aerobic exercise has a significant influence on the development of children's gross motor skills with the criteria for testing the hypothesis if H0 is accepted Ucount < Utabel, H0 is rejected if Ucount > Utabel. The result of the hypothesis test was 2.5385 < 4.4, it was proven that H0 was rejected, meaning that there was a significant increase in gross motor development by being given aerobic exercise in the experimental class compared to the control class which was not given aerobic exercise but rather rhythmic exercise. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of aerobic exercise on the gross motor development of children aged 5-6 years at TK ST Antonius 2 Medan FY 2022/2023.

Abstract

In this research, the problem is that children's initial reading abilities are still low. This research aims to determine the effect of using flashcard media on the beginning reading abilities of children aged 5-6 years at the Sahabat Rina Medan Kindergarten. This research uses an experimental method approach (Quasi-experiment design) in the form of The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were all students aged 5-6 years in class B2 with a sample size of 20 children at the Sahabat Rina Medan Kindergarten. The data collection instrument in this research used a performance test. From the data analysis, the pretest data (before treatment) has an average score (mean) of 26.90 and the posttest data (after treatment) has an average score (mean) of 37.95. Based on data analysis through non-parametric hypothesis testing, the SPSS 25 statistical test was obtained, namely 0.000. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of flashcard media has a significant influence on the beginning reading abilities of children aged 5-6 years at Sahabat Rina Kindergarten.
