Abstract

The South Sumatra Light Railway Management Center (BPKARSS) which is responsible for transportation services in South Sumatra Province has problems in managing manual complaints, problems, and reports. This study aims to design a helpdesk system using the UML Prototype and Modeling method to improve the efficiency of BPKARSS internal services. The research focused on the design of the helpdesk system as the main solution to handle complaints and reports at BPKARSS, With the UML Prototype and Modeling approach, this design aims to increase responsiveness to employee requests and solve problems quickly and structured. The Prototype method allows identification of design needs and improvements before full implementation, while UML Modeling describes the structure and behavior of the system, The results of this study are in the form of a Prototype Helpdesk design which is expected to overcome obstacles in managing complaints and manual problems at BPKARSS. It is expected that this design will improve the efficiency of handling internal problems with a focus on integrating responsive and structured solutions for employees.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the advantages and disadvantages by comparing the use of Social Media TikTok Shop vs E-Commerce Shopee. This research was conducted from November 2023 to January 2024 using the literature study method. The observed varia;bles include product prices, features, discount & cashback vouchers, payment methods, packaging & shipping, and reviews. The results showed that Shopee E-Commerce is superior to Tiktok Shop Social Media because Shopee has more complete features, there are many discount vouchers, cashback, payment methods, and delivery service options. Shopee also has its own grouping of goods, there is proof of delivery photos, and when the buyer gives a review, they will get feedback in the form of shopee coins that can be redeemed at checkout. This research also produces a ven diagram of community expectations from the seller and buyer side of TikTok Shop social media and Shopee E-Commerce.

Abstract

PT Sumber Ban Perkasa is a car tire distributor that focuses on selling tires, spare parts and car repairs. In determining the best employees at PT Sumber Ban Perkasa there is no clear weighting and there is not a good enough standardized assessment. PT Sumber Ban Perkasa needs a system that suits its needs and can provide objective and transparent assessment results. The system development methodology used is the Waterfall methodology which has 5 phases, namely requirements analysis, system design, implementation & unit testing, system testing, and maintenance. In this research, the Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method is used as a decision support system method. In designing applications at PT Sumber Ban Perkasa using the PHP and MySQL programming languages which are used as database storage. By creating the best employee assessment decision support system, the result is that it can overcome obstacles in employee assessment, increase the objectivity of the assessment, and make a positive contribution to efficiency and transparency at PT Sumber Ban Perkasa.

Abstract

Balai Pengelola Kereta Api Ringan Sumatera Selatan (BPKARSS) underwent restructuring in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Transportation. Employee performance assessment still relies on manual and subjective methods, leading to various issues. This study proposes a Decision Support System (DSS) utilizing the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method to enhance objectivity and efficiency in performance evaluations. A descriptive approach is employed to identify objectives and analyze the DSS system requirements. DSS implementation focuses on automated development using TOPSIS, improving assessment accuracy, offering performance improvement recommendations, and enhancing practical skills. The anticipated results aim to positively contribute to employee appointment decisions, enhance assessment efficiency, and fortify the performance evaluation foundation. Consequently, the adoption of DSS at BPKARSS is expected to support human resource management, stimulate career development, and elevate overall organizational performance.

Abstract

The Regional Research and Development Agency Office of South Sumatra Province, known as balitbangda, is an agency at the provincial level which is responsible for carrying out tasks in the field of regional research and development. The Regional Research and Development Agency (Balitbangda) is a supporting element led by an Agency Head and is under and responsible to the Governor through the Regional Secretariat. The South Sumatra Province Regional Research and Development Agency as a regional apparatus organization which is a supporting element, assists the Governor in administering the Provincial government in the fields of research, development, engineering, utilization and innovation of science and technology as stipulated in the South Sumatra Governor's regulation Number 51 of 2020 concerning organizational structure, description of the duties and functions of the South Sumatra Province Regional Research and Development Agency. In managing the guest book at the Balitbangda of South Sumatra Province, it still uses manual methods so that delays and errors often occur in registering guests. The method used is the Waterfall method, the stages of Waterfall is Analysis, Design, Implementation and Testing. The data collection methods are through observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this research are to make it easier for employees to register guests at the South Sumatra Province Regional Research and Development Agency.

Abstract

Archives are needed to carry out administrative processes in every company, having long, medium and short term goals and objectives to be achieved. Every possible effort is made to archieve this goal. One of them play a very important role in the company’s progress, namely a good filling system for proper and correct file management. A good file storage system can help make tasks easier and support the success of future business goals. The south Sumatera Province Regional Research and Development Agency still uses manual methods so that delays and errors often occur in recording incoming and outgoing letters. The method used in this research is the waterfall method, which is a method that is useful for the software development process. This waterfall method is developed systematically from one stage to the next. The results of the research procedurally obtained data on incoming letters, outgoing letters, letter diaries, and displayed reports that would be needed to make it easier for the South Sumatra Province Balitbangda to process information on incoming and outgoing letters. At the stage of manually filing incoming and outgoing letters, it has been replaced with an electronic filing system. All Balitbangda of South Sumatra Province can access the letter archiving information system, the letter files entered can be immediately archived and edited. Users can also add and change passwords.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is a crucial indicator for a bank to assess the performance and quality of its banking system services. User satisfaction is influenced by various factors, such as service quality, information quality, system quality, and the features offered. This study aims to analyze user satisfaction levels in online account opening at Bank Negara Indonesia KM9 Musi Palembang Branch, using the Kano Model. The research methodology applies the Kano Model with sample data search using the Slovin formula. Data collection is carried out by observation, questionnaire, and interview methods. The research results show that users are generally satisfied with the speed of service and clarity of information as key factors. However, security levels and process ease require improvement.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to create a device that can track the health of soybeans and plant watering in real time using soil moisture and nutrients in the soil in the village of Babakanmanjeti. How efficient and durable this tool is currently being used in soya fields will be studied further through this research. The device is excellent for monitoring soil humidity and soil pH of soybean crops and displaying those values through the Arduino Cloud software located on the smartphone. If the soil humidity is higher than the specified value, i.e. 250, and more than 75%, the pump test will start automatically. Conversely, if the moisture level is less than the specific value, that is, 467, and less than 60%, the test of the pump will be activated automaticly.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze customer confidence in purchasing decisions with purchase interest as an intervening variable in Tokopedia E-Commerce. This type of research is qualitative using the literature study method. The result of this study is that customer trust has a positive effect on purchasing decisions with purchase interest as an intervening variable in tokopedia E-Commerce and efforts made by tokopedia to increase customer trust.

Abstract

Balai Pengelola Kereta Api Ringan Sumatera Selatan (BPKARSS) manages light trains in South Sumatra and routinely sends employees on business trips. Business trips outside the company aim to advance BPKARSS, with each employee requiring a Travel Order Letter (SPPD) as permission from superiors. The process of appointing delegates often experiences duplication and delays in report generation, causing delegates who are on a trip to be reassigned. This research focuses on designing the SPPD system to address these issues using prototype methods and UML Modelling. The research findings indicate that the SPPD system design can serve as a reference for BPKARSS, streamlining and expediting the entire business trip process, enhancing overall efficiency.
