Abstract

The development of the automotive industry continues to grow rapidly and has modifications. The Alva One company is famous for producing electric motorbikes with one of the launches of its newest electric motorbike called Alva One XP. The popularity of Alva One brand products has encouraged the implementation of product monitoring or brand monitoring from news reports via the website. This research aims to see the level of positive sentiment, mentions and reach of the most influential websites. The research method was carried out by quantitative descriptive analysis and using a positivsm approach. Data collection is assisted by Brand24 application tools which focus on news website media. The research results illustrate the extent of positive sentiment received, the number of mentions and reach of the websites that have the most influence on reporting on the Alva One brand.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the competition for school yearbooks in high schools, junior high schools, elementary schools and equivalent in the Jakarta area and its surroundings which is quite tight. In this tight competition, a strategy is needed to promote Crayoone Event Organizer to become the best School Yearbook Company. This research was conducted in Central Jakarta.This research aims to find out what Crayoone Event Organizer does in its Marketing Public Relations strategy, find out Pull, Push and Pass Strategy, and find out the opportunities and obstacles to its Marketing Public Relations strategy. This research was conducted based on the theory of Thomas L Harris, Three Ways Strategies namely Pull, Push and Pass Strategy.This research method uses descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the push strategy is the main strategy used by Crayoone, by dividing marketer areas and aiming to be invited for presentations. The provision of incentives per collaboration and annual accumulative is carried out by the Crayoone Event Organizer. A pull strategy is also being pursued through social media to attract consumers via Tiktok and Instagram. The pass strategy used is sponsorship for student and non-student activities. The opportunity to carry out this strategy is better known through social media, and it is easier to convince potential service users. Distance barriers in terms of production outside the work area.

Abstract

The spread of hoaxes among hight school/vocational school children is vulnerable, because at the time, they are still in their teenage years, during which time people easily believe and are still unstable in determining what is right and wrong. This research aims to find out how the digital literacy skills of high school/vocational school teenagers can reduce the spread of hoaxes. The type of research carried out was a descriptive quantitative approach, with a total sampling technique with a sample of 112 respondens. Meanwhle, the research instrument used was a questionnaire. The research shows that the digital literacy of high school/vocational school and equivalent teenagers is generally quite good and is in the medium category, which is characterized by moderate digital literacy skills, 61% of the 112 respondens.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Medan as a public information provider in the Utara region. The research uses content analysis, audience engagement, and technical performance evaluation. The results show that despite RRI Medan's success in providing public information, there is potential for improvement in local news and programs. This study contributes to understanding radio media's role in public information and providing specific recommendations for improving RRI Medan's effectiveness.

Abstract

This research was written and packaged to provide information related to mass communication. This article links mass communication to political policy. Mass communication can be used as a medium to monitor policies made by the government. Basically, Indonesia is a democratic country and the people's prosperity will be prioritized. Therefore, to follow up on unfair policies carried out by the government, a forum is needed to be able to correct this. This article will discuss how mass communication can fulfill the function of monitoring political policies. Political policies will also be described in this article, accompanied by an examination of policies that are not appropriate by society. The mass communication model will determine the direction of how this mass communication will run. Mass communication will definitely have the effect of building public awareness and correction towards the government.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the communication styles of female leaders in East Bekasi District. The research method used was qualitative with 7 informants, namely 1 sub-district head and 6 sub-district staff. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that the East Bekasi Subdistrict Head's communication style uses patterns. The control communication style is used by the sub-district head through instructions and supervision of subordinates. The egalitarian communication style encourages discussion and collaboration between the sub-district head and his staff. The structuring communication style provides clear direction in carrying out tasks. A dynamic communication style motivates aggressive actions to improve performance. The reliquis communication style provides autonomy to subordinates. Communication style is withdrawn, open and involved in communication with subordinates. Withdrawal's communication style is not visible in the communication style of the East Bekasi Subdistrict Head. This communication style involves withdrawal and lack of involvement in communication with subordinates.

Abstract

Technological developments have changed consumer behavior from shopping through offline stores to online stores or online shopping. These changes affect consumer purchasing decisions when buying a product. This makes the study of e-commerce an interesting subject of study in today's world. The purpose of this study is to hopefully provide an overview of current online customer behavior and can be used to determine online marketing strategies. The population in this study were 234 people who were students of FISIP UMJ Class of 2020 & 2021. The sampling technique used Simple Random Sampling with a total of 67 samples. The data obtained was then analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis using IBM SPSS.25 software. Based on the results of statistical testing, it shows that the Online Customer Review variable has a tcount value of 10.612> 1.997 and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 and Online Customer Rating has a tcount value of 6.997> 1.997 and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 so that Ho is rejected Ha is accepted, it can be concluded that Online Customer Review and Online Customer Rating have a positive and significant influence on Purchasing Decisions. Abstract

The Internet, as a digital medium, has brought about various conveniences over time. Social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter are commonly utilized for information seeking and sharing. Among the information disseminated on social media is the increasingly prevalent Covid-19 information from 2019 to 2021. Irresponsible individuals spread hoax information, leading audiences to trust such misinformation. Therefore, Communication Science students, who will enter the media realm, require proficient media literacy skills. This research employs descriptive methods to comprehend occurring phenomena, utilizing purposive sampling for informant selection. The study includes 184 respondents from the 2016-2019 student cohorts. Descriptive qualitative analysis, complemented by scale range conversion, is used to transform qualitative data into quantitative format. The research aims to assess Communication Science students' media literacy skills through the Individual Competence Framework, comprising technical skills, critical understanding, and communicative abilities. Findings indicate students' proficient use of computers and the Internet. While they comprehend social media content and functions well, improvements are needed in behavior and regulation. Additionally, enhancing communication and relationship-building skills on social networking sites, as well as community participation and content production through these platforms, is imperative, suggesting the necessity for further development.

Abstract

Children who grow up in orphanages have the same rights as children who are in a family environment. Communication carried out by caregivers to provide motivation to foster children in terms of self-confidence. Based on this, orphanage caregivers need to carry out good communication patterns in increasing the confidence of foster children. The theory used in this study is the theory of social penetration popularized by Irwin Altman and Dalmas Taylor. This theory discusses the development of relationships through 4 stages, namely the orientation stage, the exploratory exchange stage, the affective exchange stage, and the stable exchange stage. This research uses a qualitative approach. Researchers use the constructivist paradigm, where knowledge is the result of human construction. Data collection techniques in this study through direct observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results showed that the pattern of communication of caregivers to foster children in increasing self-confidence in the Asyiyah orphanage was a wheel pattern, and a star pattern. The relationship between caregivers and foster children goes through 4 stages, namely the orientation stage, the exploratory exchange stage, the affective exchange stage, and the stable exchange stage. Factors that influence the increase in self-confidence in foster children are environmental factors and educational factors.

Abstract

Social media is a digital platform that facilitates online social activities for users, including communication, interaction, and content creation such as writing, videos, or photos. Information shared on social media can reach a wide audience and be accessed by users globally within a short period, typically within 24 hours. Popular examples of social media platforms include Instagram and TikTok. This research is grounded in New Media theory and Social Learning Theory. These theories align with the hypothesis of the study, particularly in understanding digital data controlled by software, such as social media platforms, and how exposure to social media content can influence behavior, as outlined in the Social Learning Theory. The study focuses on observing imitative behavior among students at Al-Irsyad High School in Tegal City. The research adopts a quantitative approach, specifically descriptive research. Through data analysis, the researchers were able to confirm the hypothesis using the Pearson Product Moment Test or correlation analysis. The findings indicate a positive correlation with a strong degree of association, supporting the hypothesis.
