Abstract

The purpose of classroom action research is to determine the improvement of Civics learning outcomes for class VI C SDN Candi 01 Semarang City through the application of Blended Learning model assisted by WhatsApp media. Blended Learning combines the best of online learning, structured face-to-face activity, and real-world practice. WhatsApp is an internet-based application that makes it easy for users to communicate with the available features and the most popular social media. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it can be concluded that Whatsapp media can improve PPKN learning outcomes for analyzing the application of Pancasila values in class VI C SDN Candi 01 academic year 2020/2021.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of online-based learning in high grade SDN Gunungpuyuh CBM, and to describe the involvement of parents in online learning at SDN Gunungpuyuh CBM. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach and the research subjects were teachers and grade 5 students, totaling 24 students. The data collection technique used was in the form of interviews with teachers and questionnaires given to students via google form. The data analysis technique starts from data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that parental involvement in online learning in elementary schools is slightly different from face-to-face learning to online learning. When during face-to-face learning, the role of parents is not too involved. When carrying out learning, it is different from online learning, parental involvement is needed to support the spirit of student learning at home. In addition, there are several inhibiting factors that are the reason students are less enthusiastic in carrying out online learning.

Abstract

Learning using the recitation method with an open-ended approach in this study is when the task is carried out outside the classroom so that students can construct their own knowledge and emphasize the process of how students can solve problems to the stage of an answer, not only focusing on the final result. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the open-ended recitation method in improving learning outcomes and  students' mathematical communication skills. This study uses a systematic literature review or also knownas a literature review. The method used for data collection techniques is to conduct a study to identify, assess, evaluate, and interpret research, literature books, and available reports. The journal articles collected are 25 journal articles published in the 2017-2021 time range. From various journal articles, the researcher collected journal articles related to the keywords in this study. Based on this research, it was found that the open-ended recitation method was not only able to improve mathematics learning outcomes but also to improve many mathematical abilities, especially students' mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

The background of this research is that there is still a lack of interest and student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects based on the results of observations and interviews. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics lessons on building materials for first grade students at SD Negeri Popongan through the game method.This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects were the first grade students of SD Negeri Popongan, totaling 37 students in the 2021/2022 academic year. The object of the research is the result of student learning in mathematics lessons on building materials through the game method. This study consisted of two cycles, where each cycle consisted of two meetings. The instruments used to measure the improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes are using test instruments and non-test instruments in the form of observation sheets, field notes, and documentation. The method of data collection is obtained through planning, action, observation/observation and reflection. Observations were carried out simultaneously with the action, then the researcher reflected on the results of the test. The value data obtained when the action took place between cycles I and II were averaged, so that it was clearly seen that the student's score in each cycle was clear. The completeness of student learning outcomes in the first cycle obtained 62.16% and in the second cycle the student learning outcomes showed an increase to 76.76%, while the value of learning outcomes obtained in the first cycle with an average of 66.76, and the cycle II with an average of 76.76, so it can be said that the use of the game method in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes is in the successful category in cycle II, so the research ends in cycle II. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the application of the game method can improve the learning outcomes of class I students in building materials.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning model with the help of monopoly game learning media on the problem solving abilities of fourth grade students at SDN Jepatlor. This type of research is an experiment with a quasi-experimental method in the form of a nonequivalent control group design. The population is class IV SDN Jepatlor and the sample is class IV A as the experimental class and class IV B as the control class. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test and simple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of using a problem based learning model with the help of a monopoly game on students' problem solving abilities. This is indicated by a significance result of 0.015 <0.05 using a simple linear regression test.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the professional competence of SDN 01 Kulu teachers in using the Kahoot program in learning activities through training to make Kahoot. This research uses School Action Research (PTS), in school action research, principals can reflectively analyze, synthesize, what is being done in schools. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle includes planning (plan), action (action), observation (observation), and reflection (reflection). Methods of collecting data with observation and documentation methods. There was an increase in teacher competence in making quizzes using Kahoot. Before giving the action, the teacher's ability was only able to reach 27% enough and 73% less. After being given action in the form of training activities to make online questions using googleform, teacher competence increased in the first cycle to 46% in the sufficient category and 54% of teachers in the good category, and in the second cycle to 73 who participated in the training in the good category, and 27% of teachers in the good category. sufficient category and overall the assessment aspects have been in good criteria. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in the professional competence of teachers through Kahoot training at SDN 01 Kulu, Karanganyar District, Pekalongan Regency.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused various impacts in the world of education, especially the character degradation that has occurred in elementary school students. This phenomenon is accompanied by a character lost effect caused by the learning transition. Based on this background, it is necessary to make efforts to replant character values in students. SD Negeri 4 Gubug has an innovative concept to overcome these problems by launching angklung music extracurricular activities. The focus of this research is to analyze the inculcation of character values through extracurricular activities of angklung music. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The research data were taken by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The research subjects were extracurricular students, extracurricular supervisors, and the principal of SD Negeri 4 Gubug. The results showed that there were character values that were realized, including religious values, discipline, responsibility, social care, environmental care, friendly/communicative, independent, and love for the homeland. The obstacles that occur are the absence of a special room, and the limited number of angklungs. While the existing support includes material support in the form of facilities and moral support from the school.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the effectiveness of the problem based learning model assisted by the media fun thinkers book on increasing students' creative thinking skills. The design of this research is a Quasi Experiment type of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were students of class III SDN Sidomulyo 4 as many as 2 classes. The samples in this study were class III A and III B SDN Sidomulyo 4. The sampling technique used in this study was taken using a purposive sampling technique which is included in non-probability sampling. The data analysis techniques used were normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t-test, simple linear regression test and paired sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that: (1) There are differences in learning using a problem based learning model assisted by the media fun thinkers book on students' creative thinking abilities with a significance of 0.001 < 0.05 using the independent sample t-test. (2) There is an effect of using the problem based learning model with the help of the media fun thinkers book on students' creative thinking abilities. This is indicated by a significance result of 0.015 < 0.05 using a simple linear regression test. (3) Improving the results of students' creative thinking skills using a problem based learning model assisted by fun thinkers book media in class III SDN Sidomulyo 4 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05 by using the paired sample t-test. So, the key is that the problem-based learning model assisted by the fun thinker book is effective in improving the creative thinking skills of grade III students.

Abstract

Solo City is one of the cities for observing children. This is evidenced by the changes and achievements of the City of Solo as a Child-friendly City. Implementation of Presidential Regulation Number 25 of 2021 concerning Child Friendly Regency/City Policies, with the Law on assisting Child Friendly Cities which has 6 main indicators (institutional, basic health and welfare, civil rights and freedoms, family environment and alternative care, special protection, and education, use of leisure time and cultural activities) with 24 sub-indicators making progress in the process of achieving Child Friendly Cities certainly has value that is felt by the community. A service quality is said to be successful if the value of satisfaction is higher than the value of dissatisfaction. This study aims to examine the service quality variable in the City of Solo in implementing the Child Friendly City program. By using a service quality model that includes 5 spaces, a simple research model concept and using a simple regression analysis hypothesis testing in this study, the results obtained indicate that the satisfaction value is lower than the dissatisfaction value. This study found that there were things that were missed during the service quality process so that community satisfaction had a low value. What is expected by the community is not in accordance with the expected reality. So that these results provide an indication that the achievement of service quality in Solo City as a Child Friendly City has not been categorized as a maximum service quality even though all forms of processes have been carried out to implement Solo City as a Child Friendly City according to the indicators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mendeskripsikan media apa yang digunakan saat pembelajaran kosa kata dan bagaimana praktik penggunaannya, Mendeskripsikan metode apa yang digunakan saat pembelajaran kosa kata dan bagaimana praktik penggunaannya, Mendeskripsikan apakah media dan metode yang digunakan berhasil membuat siswa paham kosa kata (nilai memenuhi KKM). Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Tlogotirto Kabupaten Grobogan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, penyebaran angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian Media yang digunakan saat pembelajaran menggunakan flash card dan menyanyikan lagu serta cara penggunaan yang dilakukan oleh guru. Metode yang digunakan saat pembelajaran yaitu Tanya jawab, membaca teks nyaring dan diskusi. Dengan menggunakan media dan metode yang digunakan guru mampu membuat siswa berhasil memahami pembelajaran bahasa inggris khususnya tentang kosa kata dengan nilai memenuhi KKM.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Kosa Kata, Bahasa Inggris, Media dan Metode Pembelajaran
