Abstract

The quality of education is very dependent on the professional competence of teachers. This study aims to compare professional competence between teachers in Indonesia and Thailand. This research uses a qualitative approach, emphasizing comparative descriptive research. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 6 teachers (3 from Indonesia and 3 from Thailand) representing various levels of education. Data analysis was carried out using comparative analysis. The results showed significant differences in professional competence between the two countries. Teachers in Indonesia tend to focus on mastering subject matter and implementing the national curriculum, while teachers in Thailand place more emphasis on developing interpersonal skills, classroom management skills, and the use of technology in learning. Factors that influence these differences include different education systems, educational policies, and the culture and social values of society. This research provides valuable insights for education stakeholders in both countries in designing policies and teacher training programs that meet the demands of the times. In addition, this research also contributes to further understanding of the comparison of education systems and teaching practices between Indonesia and Thailand.

Abstract

Implement El Rondo training regularly and systematically to obtain maximum results in improving passing skills. This research aims to analyze the effect of El Rondo training on improving the passing skills of the futsal team at SMAN 3 Nganjuk. This type of research uses a Pre-Experimental Design using a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design with a total population of 20 male futsal players and 18 people were taken as samples, then a simple random sampling technique was used to determine the sample. The futsal team players at SMAN 3 Nganjuk received 16 El Rondo training sessions. The results of data analysis using the Paired Sample T-test show that El Rondo training influences the passing skills of the futsal team players at SMAN 3 Nganjuk. The pretest results showed an average passing skill of 8.56 and a posttest average of 11.56 resulting in an average increase of -3.000. Providing an increasingly structured training program can have an influence on improving passing skills. It is hoped that the El Rondo training program which is given regularly can improve the passing skills of the players.

Abstract

Business model design is a strategy for creating, delivering and capturing value so that companies can compete in the business environment. The port as an important point that allows business, services, and trade to take place has a changeable environment. The research aims to identify environmental factors that affect the port's business model, and provide strategy recommendations based on Miles and Snow's typology strategy analysis. Data analysis techniques using RBV, SWOT and Miles and Snow typology. The results of RBV analysis show that the port has 50% sustainable resources, 40% temporarily competitive and 10% less competitive. The results of SWOT analysis, the ports of Balige and Ajibata are in quadrant I position and it is recommended to use strategies based on the strength-opportunity matrix. The existing alternative strategies are analyzed using the Miles and Snow typology, obtaining three types of strategies that can be used, namely prospector, defender and analyzer. The strategy is expected to increase the port's competitiveness, operational efficiency and flexibility in the face of environmental changes.

Abstract

Bullying is a harmful behavior that has the potential to cause serious psychological impacts on children, especially in school settings. This study aims to explore the role of Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) Student Community Service (KKN) students in educating elementary school students about the dangers of bullying. Socialization activities were conducted in three elementary schools, namely SD 12 Sapan, SD 13 Sungai Durian, and SD 02 Sapan, Durian 2 Village, Barangin District, Sawah Lunto City, using presentation and interactive discussion methods. The results showed that 55% of students considered bullying as a joke, with the most common form of bullying being teasing about parents' names and physical conditions. These findings indicate the need for continuous education to increase students' understanding of the boundaries between joking and bullying and its negative impacts. Through this program, UNP KKN students contribute to creating a safer and more supportive environment for elementary school students.

Abstract

National education aims to develop the potential of students to become individuals who are faithful, devout, have noble character, knowledge and creativity. In this digital era, teachers are required to be innovative, especially in utilizing learning media such as e-modules. At SMP Negeri 6 Sukabumi City, it was found that students had difficulty learning football material and needed additional interactive learning resources, such as flipbook-based e-modules. This research aims to develop, test the validity and measure the practicality of a soccer e-module, as well as observe its impact on student learning motivation. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which includes the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate stages. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 6 Sukabumi City involving 35 class IX students. Data was collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The research results show that the football e-module developed has been assessed as very valid with a percentage of 85% from material experts, 85% from learning experts, and 82.5% from media experts. This e-module is also practical to use in learning, with an increase in practicality from 71% in the first meeting to 80% in the second meeting. This flipbook e-module has proven to be effective in supporting PJOK learning, especially regarding soccer material.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of using multimodal text methods to enhance the narrative writing skills of EFL students at SMP Terpadu Darul Dakwah. The research employs a pre-experimental design involving pre-tests, treatments, and post-tests to measure the impact of teaching narrative texts using folktales packaged in flashcards. Results indicate a significant improvement in students' writing abilities, evidenced by increased average scores from pre-test to post-test. The study also incorporates responsive teaching with barcode flashcards to integrate technology into the learning process, making it more engaging and relevant for students. Multimodal texts, combining video, audio, and visual elements, can effectively enhance language skills and student engagement in writing narrative texts. The research provides valuable insights for educators seeking innovative methods to improve writing instruction and suggests that incorporating multimodal texts and folktales can significantly enhance EFL students' narrative writing skills.

Abstract

The increasing era of globalization encourages sea transportation to continue to develop, one of its activities is loading and unloading. In loading and unloading activities, an obstacle that often occurs during the activity is the buildup/jam of trucks at the truck in and out gate of a port. At North Jamrud Port there will be a buildup of trucks in 2022 and then there will be development of the Auto Gate System in 2023. This research aims to find out how significant the impact of the development of the Auto Gate System is on the smooth operation of the port (in and out of trucks) in 2023. The research method used in this research is quantitative. One Group Pretest Posttest. This research data uses primary data and secondary data obtained from the company PT. Pelindo Multi Terminal Jamrud branch. Data collection techniques include field observation and literature study. The results obtained are that truck queues at the port gate can be reduced significantly, reducing congestion and smoothing traffic flow in the port area.

Abstract

This research aims to develop microlearning educational videos on self-regulation (self-discipline) for karate student athletes at Malang State University. Self-regulation, especially in aspects of concentration and emotions, is very important for athletes to achieve optimal performance. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The analysis stage was carried out to identify the needs of karate student athletes regarding self-regulation. Based on the results of the analysis, microlearning material was designed and developed which includes concentration and emotional regulation techniques. This product was validated by karate coaching and sports psychology experts, and tested on small and large groups of karate athletes. The validation results show that the microlearning material has a high level of suitability, clarity, convenience and usefulness. Trials on athletes showed significant improvements in concentration and emotional regulation abilities after following this microlearning program. Athletes reported that the material was presented in an interesting and easy to understand manner, and could be applied effectively in training and competition. The conclusion of this research is that the development of microlearning educational videos on self-regulation (self-discipline) for karate student athletes at Malang State University is effective in improving athletes' concentration and emotional regulation abilities and is suitable as education for concentration and emotional regulation of karate student athletes at Malang State University. It is recommended that this program be integrated into the athlete's daily training curriculum and that periodic evaluations be carried out to ensure its effectiveness. Further development also needs to be carried out to update and add to the material so that it remains relevant to the latest developments in the field of sports psychology.

Abstract

The research objective of this final assignment is to describe the implementation of hygiene, sanitation and catering at Yulfia Catering in Mojokerto. This research uses theories from experts who study the implementation of hygiene, sanitation and catering. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. This research uses more interview and documentation techniques to support a qualitative approach. This research uses many data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. The focus of this research is to determine the implementation of hygiene, sanitation and catering carried out at Yulfia Catering Mojokerto. The final results of this research indicate that Yulfia Catering in Mojokerto needs follow-up regarding an efficient work system in dealing with consumers during busy times. Because when orders are busy, hygiene and sanitation are sometimes ignored.

Abstract

The research that has been carried out is entitled "Professional Development of School Principals at Madrasah Mas Bustaanul Uluum: Challenges and Opportunities". This research aims to: find out how professional school principals are able to answer the challenges of current developments. find out how professional school principals take advantage of various opportunities in facing the challenges of current developments. To obtain data in this research the author used qualitative research methods from data produced through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. This research was carried out in the principal's office. The results of this research reveal several findings: (1) There is an important leadership role for professional school principals at MAS Bustaanul Uluum Teluk Dalam. (2) Efforts of Professional School Principals in Facing the Challenges of Progress in Educational Technology. (3) There are opportunities to face the challenges of development and progress in educational technology.
