Abstract

The problem of nursing staff performance is a fundamental problem that will always be encountered in hospital management.The phenomenon in this research is the existence of performance that has not satisfied the community regarding the services received. Factors that influence the performance of nursing staff can be influenced by individual characteristics(communication),psychological (motivation), and organizational factors (supervision/supervision system). The aim of this research is to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of interpersonal communication on motivation, supervision on motivation, interpersonal communication on performance, supervision of performance, motivation on performance, interpersonal communication on performance through motivation, and the influence of supervision on performance through motivation. This research uses descriptive statistics with quantitative data and SEM (Structural Equation Model) with the Smart PLS application, with a sample size of 148 nursing staff in the Sekayu Hospital Inpatient Installation. It was found that the majority of nursing staff were aged 20 - 30 years as much as 62.84%, the majority of nursing staff were women, namely 77.03%, the majority of nursing staff with Diploma III education level was 71.62%, 75% of positions were Executive Nurses/Midwives. , and the maximum work period is in the range of 3 – 5 years, namely 61.49%. There is a significant influence between interpersonal communication and motivation, and supervision and motivation. There is no significant influence between interpersonal communication on supervision performance and performance, motivation and performance, interpersonal communication and performance through motivation, supervision and performance through motivation in nursing staff at the Sekayu Hospital Inpatient Installation.

Abstract

In general, utilities in engineering are devices or systems designed to provide basic needs or to help complete certain jobs or processes. In engineering, utilities generally refer to systems or devices designed to provide basic needs such as electricity, water, gas, or telecommunications. At PT. The brainstorming method is used to produce creative ideas that can be applied in developing utility monitoring systems. Various ideas are generated through discussion and debate between brainstorming participants. Then, these ideas are analyzed and selected to select those that best suit PT XYZ's needs. Therefore, the author created a utility performance monitoring system to make it easier for the engineering department to carry out work activities. This utility performance monitoring system was created using a JavaScript framework, namely AngularJS for the frontend and ExpressJS for the backend. Apart from that, the author also tested PT XYZ employees so that the system runs according to needs. Of the 10 respondents, more than 50% of the accumulated respondents stated that the utility performance monitoring system application was running satisfactorily and very satisfactorily, there were 10% to 30% of respondents who stated that it was running well and 10% of respondents said it was not working well. Based on the test results above, it was found that the utility monitoring system at PT XYZ could be categorized as a fairly informative information system for the engineering department.

Abstract

Food insecurity is a significant issue in public health, with individuals and households experiencing insufficient access to food necessary for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The objective of this article is to explore the role of food security as a critical element in promoting public health and nutrition. This article was written using a qualitative method through a literature review study. Adequate nutrient intake is essential for good health and optimal performance in all areas of life. Inadequate access to nutritious food can weaken the immune system, making individuals more susceptible to infections and diseases. Food insecurity and poor health can create a cycle of poverty and contribute to health disparities within communities. Additionally, food security and mental health are closely related, and a lack of access to affordable and nutritious food can lead to poorer mental health outcomes such as stress, anxiety, and depression. Addressing food insecurity prevents public health crises and contributes to health disparities. Food security is essential for promoting public health and preventing malnutrition. It ensures adequate nutrient intake, enhancing performance and productivity. Addressing food insecurity is crucial for improving overall well-being and promoting a healthier future for individuals and communities.

Abstract

Work engagement can be one of many predictors of turnover intention in nurses. Turnover intention can be minimized, so that it can reduce the nurse turnover rate in a company. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work engagement and nurse turnover intention. This study used a cross-sectional design with chi-square test. This research was conducted in September – December 2023, with 140 nurses as the sample. The sampling technique used in this study was stratified random sampling. Based on the results of the analysis between turnover intention and work engagement has got p-value = 0.001 (p <0.05) was obtained and the results of the analysis between the characteristics of nurses and turnover intention showed has got p-value = 0.244 -0.831 (p <0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between turnover intention and work engagement at Porsea Hospital and there is no relationship between nurse characteristics and the incidence of nurse turnover intention at Porsea Hospital. It is expected that the hospital management can maintain a good level of work engagement in hope it can reduce nurse turnover rates. Hospitals can facilitate various things that support work engagement, such as a good environment, adequate compensation, and feedback   the work of nurses.

Abstract

Cerebral palsy (CP)Congenital malformasi: a condition of weakness of the extremities which results in distruption of the child's growth and development. The cause of cerebral palsy is the result of brain damage or brain defects which most often occur when a person is still in the womb or after birth, although there are several cases that experience CP is not congenital. This condition of congenital malformation has an unstable movement coordination system.floppiness or stiffness of the limbs,the emergence of abnormal movement ,poor balance,or several combination of the signs that have been mentioned. Congenital malformation affects the motor and function capacity system. The aim of this is to find out that there is a stretching effec and strengthening exercise on gross motor skills in spastic type cerebral palsy. The type of research uses a quasi experiment with pre and post test design. The research sample is 7 children with spastic type cerebral palsy at Murni Teguh Hospital in Medan who meet the research criteria. The level of spasticity was measured by observation using the Mas method (Muscle Ashwort scale) with repeated measurements, before and after treatment In research, data analysis this study used is T.Test (t test).

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Instagram content on maternal attitudes and practices pertaining to child nutrition and the prevention of stunting. The study utilizes case study approach to analyze the Instagram account @leonavictoria_ahligizi on Milhinhos's theoretical framework. The research assesses the content of the account in terms of its relevance, accuracy, value, understandability, discoverability, and consistency. The analysis is contingent upon Instagram's capacity to address a variety of informational requirements, including cognitive, affective, personal integration, social integration, and tension release. The findings illustrate a statistically significant influence of Instagram in improving the dietary practices of mothers of preventing stunting in children. The findings analysis, utilizing SmartPLS 4. 0, revealed a significant association between Instagram content and users' understanding and dietary habits, as evidenced by a path coefficient of 0. 729 This suggests a substantial impact on the satisfaction of information needs. The demographic data indicates that the majority of the participants are well-educated mothers between the ages of 25 and 34, who are actively involved in consuming the content with the aim of enhancing their children's dietary habits. The material presented on @leonavictoria_ahligizi not only serves to increase knowledge and understanding but also facilitates the practical application of nutritional regimens essential for the early developmental phases of children. This highlights the significant importance of customized, trustworthy, and practical social media material in addressing child stunting and advancing public health by promoting informed dietary habits. The incorporation of social media platforms into health education initiatives signifies a substantial advancement in efforts to combat worldwide malnutrition and improve the health outcomes of communities.

Abstract

Hypertension is persistent blood pressure where systolic blood pressure ≥140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mmHg. Obedience comes from the rude word obey which means discipline and obedience. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between compliance of hypertensive patients in controlling blood pressure in patients at the Brangsong I Health Center. This type of research is quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. Measurement of the level of relationship with compliance using the chi square statistical test with α = 0.05. The relationship between medication adherence rates using the Morisky Medication Adherance Scale (MMAS-8) questionnaire. Based on the results of measuring the level of compliance from 50 respondents, there were 36 respondents (72%) had a level of compliance, 14 respondents (28%) had a level of compliance that was less compliant. The relationship between blood pressure control from 50 respondents was 14 respondents (28%) had mild blood pressure, 25 respondents (50%) had moderate blood pressure while 11 respondents (22%) had severe blood pressure. The relationship between adherence to taking medication in controlling the blood pressure of patients at the Brangsong I Health Center is the relationship between adherence to taking medication and blood pressure. There is a relationship between compliance of hypertensive patients in controlling blood pressure in patients at Brangsong I Health Center

Abstract

Currently, the development of tourist attractions in Indonesia is increasing, both cultural tourism and natural tourism. Designing a tourist area is very important because it is basically an effort to develop and utilize the potential to increase the attraction of local and foreign tourists. The Rudang Mayang natural bathing area is one of the tourism potentials in Namu Ukur sub-district, Langkat Regency. However, currently the condition of the Rudang Mayang natural baths is not organized and not managed optimally, where the existing potential is not utilized effectively. The landscape design of the Rudang Mayang natural bathing area is a design that presents a new tourist area design based on the potential that exists from within and outside the area, both in terms of zoning concepts, circulation patterns, materials and other supporting facilities. Landscape ecology is a concept applied in the design of the Rudang Mayang natural bath which displays a geographical area that displays the expression of the natural landscape and the reciprocal relationships within it which have a close relationship with human activities, as well as an aesthetic level.

Abstract

The philosophy emergency care that it's Live Saving Time Saving for all actions performed during emergency conditions must be really effective and efficient and the response time is calculated from the emergency care of patients come to do treatment. The condition is reminiscent of the patients losing their lives in the next three defects even very short. The purpose of this study was to identify application response time nurse in the prioritization of handling emergency accident patients in Emergency Department of Balung General Hospital. This was non-experimental research with cross sectional design. The sampling method using purposive sampling, with a population of 32 respondents in order to obtain a sample of 30 respondents. The research instrument used was the observation sheets and questionnaires. This study showed that was application response time nurse in the implementation of the prioritization of handling emergency accidents in patients with Spearman Rho significance level a = (0.001). The response time nurse in prioritization of handling emergency accident patients should be improved in order to achieve the quality of service quality to patients and families of patients who receive services

Abstract

Young women are susceptible to nutritional problems, one of which is anemia. The cause of anemia is the lack of consumption of macro and micronutrients, such as iron and zinc. The problem of anemia in adolescent girls will cause adverse effects such as causing babies born with low weight, stunting babies, and high prenatal mortality. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between zinc and iron consumption and hemoglobin levels in high school students Negeri 1 Gianyar. The type of data in this study is analytical using a cross sectional design. The population in this study was grade 11 and 12 students with a sample of 60 people selected by random sampling. Data on zinc and iron consumption were obtained using a 24-hour food recall questionnaire processed using the 2007 Nutri Survey program, and hemoglobin levels were obtained by digital multicheck method, namely with GCHb Easy Touch. Data were analyzed using bivariate analysis using the Spearman rank test. The results showed the level of zinc and iron consumption was still lacking. The average consumption of zinc and iron after the data was processed was zinc consumption which was 4.3 mg and iron consumption was 4.5 mg.
