Abstract

A hospital is one of the subsystems of health services that organizes two types of services for the community, namely health services and administrative services. Health services include medical services, medical rehabilitation and care services. Every health service or hospital should be proud if every patient who visits continues to increase, the increase in patients can be seen from the changes in the existing graph of the number of patient visits. The number of patient visits that continues to increase greatly affects the smooth running of each health service, because patients who often visit have high trust in the health service they visit. The number of visits for inpatients for postpartum care based on age, disease, and gender is 115 visits, the number of visits for care patients based on age, disease, and gender is 37 visits. It can be concluded that medical records officers should write down inpatient data completely and clearly in the register book, good communication between medical records officers and doctors treating patients should be good so that the diagnosis written by the doctor in the patient's medical record is easy to read.

Abstract

The increase in population significantly impacts the growth of waste volume. In Indonesia, poor waste management exacerbates the issue of waste. In Yogyakarta, specifically, this problem has become critical due to the permanent closure of the integrated waste disposal site that has been relied upon. Despite various government programs being implemented, the active participation of the community as waste producers in addressing waste issues must be continuously enhanced. Independent waste management is one of the frequently proposed solutions. This program is supported by an overarching program called the waste bank. The existence of the waste bank must be accompanied by a high level of community participation. However, the lack of community access to the waste bank needs attention. Accordingly, this community service program will provide inorganic waste bins to increase community participation in managing inorganic waste while supporting the role of the waste bank. There are two main activities in this program: the design and production of inorganic waste bins, and the community education of household waste management. This community service collaborates with the waste bank located in Muja-Muju, Yogyakarta, targeting the campus area of the Faculty of Engineering at UST and the community on Miliran Street. This initiative also involves cooperation between the campus and the bank in institutional-scale waste management.

Abstract

PT Pertamina EP Pendopo Field, within the GEMILANG (Movement for Women to Preserve Nature through Areca Nut Conservation) program, has successfully empowered the women of Sukakarya Village by promoting the cultivation and utilization of the abundant areca nut trees in the area. As beneficiaries of the GEMILANG program, the Melati Women's Farming Group (KWT Melati) has successfully produced health products from areca nuts, such as ginger areca nut tonic (bandrek) and areca nut juice. Since the program's inception in 2020, KWT Melati has become more productive, engaging in vegetable cultivation and organic fertilizer production using areca nut waste. As the program has grown, GEMILANG has become increasingly inclusive, involving more women from Sukakarya Village. New initiatives under GEMILANG now include the development of areca nuts as a corrosion inhibitor for the industrial sector, using areca nut waste in fabric production through eco-printing techniques, and exporting areca nuts.

Abstract

Feasibility analysis is essential for every MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) as a consideration for whether a business is feasible to continue. The result of financial feasibility analysis is expected to determine whether the business plan is economically profitable or not. The purpose of this service is to provide training on measuring business feasibility at MSME Rajut Denzaa in Jambi. This training aims to help MSME Rajut Denzaa understand whether the business they are running is financially viable. Viable means that the income received from the business exceeds all the costs incurred during its operation. The owner of the MSME must truly understand whether their business is indeed feasible to continue. Lack of knowledge on financial feasibility measurement is the core problem of MSME Rajut Denzaa. Therefore, the PKM Team needs to provide this training to help MSME Rajut Denzaa understand whether their business is feasible to continue or not.

Abstract

In Pengabuan Village, women dominate poverty. The vulnerability of this group is explained by the fact that they do not have enough training, experience, and a source of investment to put food on their table (to meet even basic family needs, including healthcare). This journal in this case study is the implementation of the Independent Agriculture for Empowerment Village Women ("PERMATA") program, which is initiated by PT Pertamina EP Adera Field at Pengabuan Village, Abab Districts, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI), South Sumatera. Its purpose is to increase economic welfare as well as the health of society by growing Medicinal Family Vegetables (TOSGA). Under the theme of building an inclusive and sustainable economy, PERMATA, in its fourth year, will focus on product diversification from TOSGA-derived herbs and group capacity building, followed by institutional mentoring. The program has had far-reaching effects on economic, social, and environmental welfare. One initiative has seen a dramatic increase in the income of women's groups and made a real dent in greenhouse gas emission targets through straw waste alternative energy. The PERMATA program has increased community awareness and capabilities in managing the environment and the production of herbs as flora medicinal plants. Through sustainable agricultural innovation, the program also improved quality life criteria or indicators of life.
