Abstract

Technological developments create extraordinary social media access. Teenagers, most social media users, make them vulnerable to FOMO. FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) is a feeling of worry and anxiety teenagers feel when they miss moments on social media. The goal is to find a valid and reliable FoMO scale instrument for Indonesian adolescents. The research model is a mix-method with qualitative data through interviews and literature studies to see the relevant instrument grid. The test subjects were 77 adolescents with an average age of 19-20 years—the data analysis with product moment and alpha-Cronbach. The conclusion of this study first found the existence of FoMO among adolescent social media users. Qualitative data found a lattice of instruments with aspects of FoMO on social media from a) not being able to stay away from cellphones, b) frequently checking social media to find out what friends have uploaded, and c) feeling uncomfortable when not attending gatherings and sharing information with friends, and d) often evoke social media status related to their activities. Second, the most significant cause of FoMO is social media and smartphones. The test of the validity and reliability of the scale instrument found that as many as 20 of the 24 FoMO statement items were valid with a reliability coefficient of 0.721, which was included in the high category. All researchers, with the emergence of various prevention, alleviation strategies, psychoeducational activities, guidance and counselling, can apply the FoMO scale for social media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze Local Cultural Values in Balahak Performances and how the form of inheritance of Local Cultural Values through Balahak performances in Siulak Mukai. This research is qualitative with data collected through document study, observation, in-depth interviews, and FGD. Then the stages of data analysis through: data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions, for the validity of the data using triangulation techniques and discussions with colleagues. The findings of the study indicate that the Balahak Performance (Bride Procession) is an art performance that contains local cultural values, which then the process of the Balahak performance becomes a means of socializing and internalizing local culture which can be said to be cultural inheritance. There is a synergy between organisms and the environment in forming a Balahak show so that it can be said subtantively that Balahak is an Environmental-Based Performance. Therefore, the cultural values of ecological wisdom are inherited through elements in the Balahak Performance including Music, Song Verses, Pantun, Costum, Arena, Participants, Audience.

Abstract

Muslim students in Yogyakarta are the majority of students who are the successors of the next generation of Islam. For this reason, Muslim students need to have good self-resilience. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of resilience of Muslim students in Yogyakarta. Used quantitative approach and descriptive analysis design used quantitative approach and descriptive analysis design to answer research questions—data obtained from 369 students at the Islamic School in Yogyakarta. The data collection instrument used a 10-item Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC). The results showed that as many as 178 Muslim students or 48% were in the high resilience category, 178 Muslim students, or 48%, were in the moderate resilience category, and 13 Muslim students, or 4%, were in the low resilience category. Discussion, limitations, and suggestions are also described in this paper.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the movement in the javelin release stage. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The data taken is the result of analysis using Kinovea software in the form of data on release velocity, angle of release, height of release and angel of attack. The results showed that on the release velocity factor, the first throw obtained a speed of 12.49 m/s while the second throw obtained a speed of 12.87 m/s. The release angle factor shows that the first throw angle is 38 degrees and the second throw is 35 degrees. The factor of the height of the release is that the javelin distance at the time of release is 185.04 cm in the first throw and 186.87 cm in the second throw. The angle of attack factor shows that the angle of the first throw is 3 degrees and the second throw is 2 degrees. The throwing distance shows that the first throw was obtained with a distance of 46.1 m and the second throw with a distance of 47.2 m. The results of the data analysis show that the greater the speed of release and the height of the release, the farther the throw is obtained, while the smaller the angle of release and attack angle, the farther the throw is obtained. Based on this analysis, it is hoped that it can provide a reference to the trainer on how to make good training pattern in achieving achievement.

Abstract

Background: Advancement in the healthcare sector, the complexity of health problems and healthcare system become an additional burden for healthcare workers who have incompetence along with professional education of healthcare workers, specifically in radiology education. Virtual reality has great potential in educational learning tool development to encounter various challenges in future radiology education. Objective: To determine the scope of virtual reality and its effectiveness as an educational learning tool in radiology education. Methods: A literature review was carried out to explore articles related with application of virtual reality in radiology education by adjusting various search terms: "virtual reality", and "radiology"/ "radiography" / “x-ray” / “radiology technologist” / “education”. Articles were selected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria that have been previously assigned. The timeframe for the literature search was restricted from 2010 to 2022. screening process. Results: Screening process were applied to search across database. Twelve articles were identified related with the application of virtual reality in radiology education. Application of virtual reality had been implemented in several sub-fields of radiology education, consist of three articles from conventional radiography, two articles from general diagnostic radiology, four articles from interventional radiology, two articles from radiological anatomy, and an article from ultrasonography. Conclusion: The application of virtual reality has been used in several sub-fields of radiology education. Almost all studies showed positive responses on application VR in radiology education. The development of virtual reality as radiology educational learning tools were needed further particularly in several sub-fields that have not been implemented.

Abstract

This study is to ascertain the relationship between arm muscle explosive power and balance. At SMK Negeri 1 Cirebon, students had a sample size of 30 participants. The influence of arm muscle explosive power tests using two-handed medicine ball throws, balance tests utilizing stork stands, and orthodox style shot put tests are the data that were collected. Through analysis of the correlation between arm muscle explosive power and conservative style shot put using the product moment formula calculation, it was determined that the correlation between arm muscle explosive power and balance had a moderate relationship. The value of count was 0.437 > rtable 0.374 and the origin there will be a significant test, and it turns out that count is greater from ttable (2,522).Greater from the relationship between the balance using conservative style at State Vocational High School 1 Cirebon, which has a moderate correlation, where by using the product moment formula calculation the value is 0.552> 0.374 and comes from a significant test, it turns out that count is larger than ttable (3.442 > 1.701), then H0 is rejected, it means that there is a significant correlation between the balance using Ortodok’s Style in Cirebon students.
