Abstract

The level of profitability of the banking BUMN listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange is an issue that is still interesting to study as a result of the uncertainty and competition of private banks in collecting third party funds from the public. This study aims to determine the effect of the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and the growth of third party funds on profitability of the banking BUMN listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2008 to 2017. The population used in this study is all state-owned banks in the IDX period 2008 until 2017. The sample selection in this study uses saturated sampling. The sample used in this study were 4 BUMN banks in the period 2008 to 2017. Data used in this study used secondary data. The testing method used in this study is using multiple regression analysis methods. The results showed that the LDR and DPK significantly influence profitability. While the most dominant variable affecting profitability in this study is liquidity (Loan to Deposit Ratio)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze work discipline, self-efficacy, work environment and organizational culture simultaneously on employee performance in BKPSDM of Konawe Islands Regency. The research analysis unit is an employee at the BKPSDM of Konawe Islands Regency. Respondents who were sampled were 39 employees. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The analytical method used in testing the hypothesis is multiple linear regression analysis with the calculation process using SPSS 21. Qualitative information is used to explore additional information related to the results of hypothesis testing.The results of this study indicate that: Work discipline, self-efficacy, work environment and organizational culture in simultanously has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work discipline, self-efficacy, work environment and organizational culture partially significant influence on employee performance in BKPSDM of Konawe Islands Regency. Suggestions for BKPSDM of Konawe Islands Regency can provide good motivation and create better disciplined innovations, maintain friendship with leaders, and provide job training that can support employee performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture and non-physical work environment on employee performance and to determine the influence of organizational culture and non-physical environment on work commitment. Determine the effect of work commitment on employee performance and examine the mediating effect of work commitment on the influence of organizational culture and non-physical work environment on employee performance. This research was conducted at the General Election Commission in Southeast Sulawesi Province. The population of this study were civil servants totaling 198 people. Determination of the sample using the Slovin formula so that the number of samples in this study was 132 civil servants. Data were collected using questionnaires and processed using analytical tools Structural Equational Modeling (SEM) AMOS.The results of this study indicate that organizational culture has no significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on work commitment. The non-physical work environment has no significant effect on employee performance. The non-physical work environment has a positive and significant effect on work commitment. Work commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work commitment mediates the influence of organizational culture on employee performance and the nature of the mediation is full mediation. Work commitment mediates the effect of the non-physical work environment on employee performance and the nature of the mediation is full mediation.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the influence of leadership and work environment on organizational commitment and employee performance at the Education and Culture Office of Southeast Sulawesi Province. The research method used is descriptive quantitative analysis method, and uses SEM analysis methods. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. The population in this study amounted to 110 people with the sampling technique using the census. Data were processed statistically using AMOS program tools. The results of this study indicate that (1) Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee organizational commitment, (2) The work environment has a positive but insignificant effect on employee organizational commitment, (3) Leadership has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance, (4) Environment work has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (5) Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Education and Culture Office of Southeast Sulawesi Province. The higher the employee's organizational commitment, the higher the performance shown by the employees.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect; 1) The effect of education and training on employee performance. 2) The influence of non-education and training activities on employee performance. 3) The effect of promotion on employee performance and 4) The influence of technology motivation on employee performance. The research method is to use quantitative research. The data used are secondary and primary data. Data analysis usingSPSS software version 20. The sampling technique uses saturated sample amounted to 50 employees at UPTD KPH UNIT XXIV Gularaya Forestry Service of Southeast Sulawesi Province. The results showed that; 1) education and training have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 2) non-education and training activities have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 3) promotion has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 4) motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The research objective is to examine and examine the effect of capital structure on corporate value in consumer companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis model used is the structural equation model. The number of companies studied was 26 companies with the 2013-2017 observation year. The method of determining the research sample using the purpose sampling method based on the criteria of consumer companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the observation period from 2013-2014.The results of the study found that: 1). Capital structure has a significant effect on profitability 2). Profitability has a significant effect on firm value, 3). Capital structure has an effect on company value mediated by profitability.Keywords: capital structure, profitability and company value

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture, motivation and discipline simultaneously on employee performance at the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Election Commision.. Thisresearchwill beconducted at Electoral Commission Secretariat OfficeIn Southeast Sulawesi.This study uses HRM Theory and Organizational Behavior Theory as the basis for writing. The population in this study are all civil servans in the Electoral Commission Secretariat Office In Southeast Sulawesi consisting of 17 districts and cities, totaling 186 people. The sample in this study are 127 people with details of Southeast Sulawesi Province (21 people), Bombana Regency (7 people), North Buton Regency (7 people), North Kolaka Regency (7 people), South Konawe Regency (7 people), Muna Regency. (6 people), Bau-Bau Regency (7 people), Buton Regency (6 people), Kolaka Regency (7 people), Konawe Regency (7 people), North Konawe Regency (7 people), Wakatobi Regency (7 people), Kendari City (8 people), South Buton Regency (4 people), Konawe Islands Regency (4 people), East Kolaka Regency (8 people) and West Muna Regency (7 people).Therese archinstrument that will be used in the study are the Organizational Culture Questionnaire, the Motivation Questionnaire, the Discipline Questionnaire and the Employee Performance Questionnaire. The data will be analize by using inferential statistics, Multivariate Linear Regression, which is carried out with the help of SPSS 21. The results of this study indicate that 1) The results of the Organizational Culture hypothesis test have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. This can be seen from the regression coefficient of 0.212 with a p-value of 0.015. This positive relationship indicates that the better the organizational culture, the better the performance of employees at the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Election Commision. 2) The results of the motivation hypothesis test have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. This can be seen from the regression coefficient of 0.384 with a p-value of 0.000. This positive relationship indicates that the better the motivation, the better the performance of employees at the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Election Commision. 3) The results of hypothesis testing indicate that discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This can be seen from the regression coefficient of 0.393 with a p-value of 0.000. This positive relationship indicates that the better the employee discipline, the better the performance of employees at the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Election Commision.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Regional Original Revenue on the Financial Performance of South Sulawesi Province at the Central Statistics Agency of South Sulawesi. The sample in this study is the Realization and Expenditure Realization Report for 21 Regencies and 3 Cities in South Sulawesi Province. The amount of data observed was 48 observational data. In this study using secondary data obtained from the Realization and Expense Realization Report of 21 Regencies and 3 Cities in South Sulawesi Province. The number of reports used is two years, namely 2013 and 2014. The analytical method used in this study is a simple linear regression analysis.The results showed the number of Original Revenue of Regencies / Cities in South Sulawesi in 2013-2014 there was an increase and decrease based on their respective regions. While the government's financial performance in all districts / cities experienced an increase. The impact of PAD on financial performance shows a significant positive effect.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine and  examine the simultaneous effect of human resource management practices, namely education and training, performance allowances, and career development, on the performance of Penyuluh Keluarga Berencana representing the BKKBN Southeast Sulawesi Province. (2) To determine and examine the effect of education and training on the performance Penyuluh Keluarga Berencana for the BKKBN Representatives of Southeast Sulawesi Province. (3) To find out and test the effect of the performance allowance on the performance Penyuluh Keluarga Berencana of the BKKBN Representative of the Southeast Sulawesi Province. (4) To find out and test the effect of career development on the performance of the Penyuluh Keluarga Berencana of the BKKBN Representative of the Southeast Sulawesi Province. (5) To find out the variables that have the most influence on the performance PenyuluhKeluarga Berencana of the BKKBN Representative of the Southeast Sulawesi Province. The design of this study used an explanatory research design (Explanatory Research). This study uses a survey research approach that uses sample data by distributing questionnaires (questionnaires). Determination of the sample is carried out in stages, namely identifying the number of population units (number of PKB) in each Regency/City, determining the number of sample units (size) as a whole from the total population using the formula, Determining the number of sample units (sample size) in each district/city proportionally so that obtained 166 samplesThe results of the analysis and discussion state that the practice of human resource management which includes education and training, fairness-based performance allowances, and career development simultaneously has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Family Planning Extension Officers at the BKKBN Representative Office of Southeast Sulawesi Province. Education and training partially have a positive and significant effect on the performance of Family Planning Extension Officers at the BKKBN Representative Office of Southeast Sulawesi Province. The performance allowance has no significant effect on the performance of the Family Planning Extension Officer at the BKKBN Representative Office of Southeast Sulawesi Province. Career development has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Family Planning Extension Officer at the Southeast Sulawesi Province BKKBN Representative Office.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) examine the effect of emotional intelligence on teacher performance, 2) examine the influence of spiritual intelligence on teacher performance, 3) examine the influence of emotional and spiritual intelligence on teacher performance. The object of this research is the Ibn Abbas Muna Foundation Educational Institution. The population of the study was the permanent teachers of the Ibn Abbas Muna Foundation Educational Institution totaling 60 people. The size of the sample determination using the census technique or the population as a sample, thus the research sample amounted to 60 respondents. Collecting data using a questionnaire, the measurement scale using Slovin. The research data were tabulated and analyzed using the SPSS ver 22 software application to determine the results of multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) emotional intelligence had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, 2) spiritual intelligence had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, 3) emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence simultaneously had a significant effect on teacher performance.
