Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of work discipline on career development, motivation and employees performance. Also, the effect of career development and motivation on the performance. In addition, an examination was conducted to find how mediation of career development and motivation on correlates the work discipline on employees performance.The research population is all 31 employees of the National Unity and Politics Bureau of Wakatobi Regency. The analytical equipment used is Partial Least Square with the Smart PLS apps.The result shows that work discipline has positive and significant effects on career development, employees motivation and performance, whereas career development has no significant effects on employees performance but work motivation has positive and significant effects on employees performance. Another finding shows that career development does not mediate the effect of work discipline on the performance but motivation plays a role in mediation.Keywords: work discipline, work motivation, career development and employees performance

Abstract

The research objective is to find out; 1) To examine and analyze the effect of work discipline on the organizational commitment of the KPU Secretariat employees of Southeast Sulawesi Province. 2) To examine and analyze the influence of the work environment on the organizational commitment of the KPU Secretariat employees of Southeast Sulawesi Province. 3) To examine and analyze the effect of employee competence on the organizational commitment of the KPU Secretariat employees of Southeast Sulawesi Province. 4) To examine and analyze the effect of organizational commitment on the performance of the KPU Secretariat employees of Southeast Sulawesi Province. 5) To examine and analyze the effect of work discipline on the performance of the KPU Secretariat employees of Southeast Sulawesi Province. 6) To test and analyze the influence of the work environment on the performance of the employees of the KPU Secretariat of Southeast Sulawesi Province. 7) To test and analyze the effect of employee competence on the performance of the KPU Secretariat employees of Southeast Sulawesi Province. 8) To examine and analyze the role of organizational commitment in mediating the effect of work discipline on the performance of the KPU Secretariat employees of Southeast Sulawesi Province. 9) To examine and analyze the role of organizational commitment in mediating the influence of the work environment on the performance of the KPU Secretariat employees of Southeast Sulawesi Province. 10) To examine and analyze the role of organizational commitment in mediating the effect of employee competence on the performance of the KPU Secretariat employees of Southeast Sulawesi Province. This research design is included in the survey research category because the main data collection uses an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Survey research is research that takes a sample from a population and uses a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The population in this study were all Civil Servants (PNS) at the Secretariat of  the General Election Commission of Southeast Sulawesi Province and the Secretariat of the KPU in 17 regencies and cities totaling 279 people, so the determination of the number of samples for this study was determined using the Slovin formula (Sekaran, 2003). ). The type of data used in this research is quantitative. The data used are primary and secondary data. The data analysis method of this research is SEM (Structural Equation Model) analysis. The results showed that; 1) High work discipline has an impact on work discipline. 2) A high work environment will have an impact on organizational commitment. 3) High employee competence will have an impact on organizational commitment. 4) Good work discipline will have an impact on improving employee performance. 5) A good work environment cannot have an increasing impact on employee performance. 6) Good employee competence will have an impact on improving employee performance. 7) High organizational commitment has an impact on improving employee performance. 8) Work discipline has an impact on employee performance through organizational commitment. 9) the work environment has an impact on employee performance through organizational commitment. 10) Employee competence has an impact on employee performance through organizational commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of marketing mix (7P) partially on company performance at PT. Telkom Palopo Branch, as well as to analyze the effect of marketing mix (7P) simultaneously on the company's performance of PT. Telkom Palopo Branch.Based on the analysis using Smart PLS, the following analysis results are obtained: Adjust R square value of 0.179 or 179%, which means the relationship between products, prices, places, promotions, employees, processes and physical facilities affect the performance of the company PT. Telkom Palopo Branch has a strong relationship, while the Adjusted R Square value of 0.116 or 116% results of sales volume is influenced by products, prices, places, promotions, employees, processes and physical facilities. The results of the F test analysis showed that the Fcount value of 3.265 was greater than that of Ft. 2.111, so that simultaneously the seven marketing strategy variables namely product, price, place, promotion, employees, processes and physical facilities significantly influenced the company's performance.The results of the t-test analysis showed that of the seven marketing strategy variables namely product, price, place, promotion, employees, physical processes and facilities, only the price variable and physical facilities had a significant effect on company performance.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) determine the effect of workload, work stress, motivation and job satisfaction simultaneously on the performance of members of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police, 2) determine the effect of workload on the performance of members of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Regional Police of Southeast Sulawesi, 3) knowing that work stress affects the performance of members of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police, 4) knowing that motivation affects the performance of members of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Regional Police of Southeast Sulawesi, and 5) knowing the effect of job satisfaction on the performance of members of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Regional Police of Southeast Sulawesi.The object of this research is the Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police. The population of the study was police officers who served in the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police, totaling 112 personnel. Determination of the sample using the Slovin formula with a precision of 10% percent thus the research sample amounted to 53 respondents. Collecting research data using questionnaires, research data were analyzed using SPSS ver 22 to determine the results of regression analysis of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variableThe results of the study: 1) Workload has a positive and significant effect on the performance of members of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Regional Police of Southeast Sulawesi, 2) Job stress has a positive and significant effect on the performance of members of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Regional Police of Southeast Sulawesi, 3) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of members of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Regional Police. Southeast Sulawesi, 4) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the performance of members of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Regional Police of Southeast Sulawesi, 5) Simultaneous and positive effects of workload, work stress, work motivation and job satisfaction on the performance of members of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Regional Police of Southeast Sulawesi.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to: 1) determine the simultaneous effect of knowledge management, work motivation and leadership on police performance, 2) determine the effect of knowledge management on police performance, 3) determine the effect of motivation on police performance, and 4) determine the effect of leadership on police performance.The object of this research is the TIK Polda Sultra. The population of the study was police officers who served in TIK Polda Sultra totaling 74 personnel. Because the number of population units is limited, the entire population unit at the same time becomes a prospective respondent for this study as many as 74 personnel. The research data was collected using a questionnaire, the research data was analyzed using SPSS ver 20 to determine the results of the regression analysis of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable.The results of the study: 1) The simultaneous and positive effect of knowledge management, work motivation, and leadership on the performance of members of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police's TIK, 2) Knowledge management has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police's TIK Division, 3) Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on significantly to the performance of the members of the TIK Sector of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police, and 4) Leadership has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the members of the TIK Division of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Service Quality, Price, and Trust in Purchasing Decisions Through Interest in Buying Precious Metals at PT Pegadaian Persero CP Barru. The research method used is quantitative research using the survey method. The population in this study was active customers from 2017-2018 who bought precious metals at PT Pegadaian Persero CP Barru. The samples taken in this study were 77 respondents in 3 locations precisely at UPC Palanro, UPC Mangkoso, and UPC Takkalasi. Data collection in this study uses questionnaires, literature studies, and observations. Data analysis techniques use descriptive data analysis techniques hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the results of this study indicate that service quality, price, trust, service quality, price, and trust, have a positive and significant effect on buying interest. The indirect effect of service quality on purchasing decisions through buying interest is smaller than the direct effect of service quality on purchasing decisions. The indirect effect between prices on purchasing decisions through buying interest is smaller than the direct effect of prices on purchasing decisions. The indirect effect between trust in purchasing decisions through buying interest is smaller than the direct influence of trust in purchasing decisions.

Abstract

 This study aimed to examine and empirically analyze the effect of expertise on work achievement mediated by work motivation of staff at Benyamin Guluh Hospital in Kolaka regency. The study had an explanatory nature which aimed at explaining the position of variables under investigation as well as the relationship between them and the effect of one variable on the others.Results of the study showed that: (1) Expertise directly had a positively significant effect on work motivation. Changes in the expertise were positive and significant to the increase of work motivation; (2) Expertise directly had a positively significant effect on staff’s work achievement. The better the expertise, the higher the work achievement of staff at Benyamin Guluh Hospital in Kolaka regency; (3) Work motivation directly had a positively significant effect on staff’s work achievement. This fact indicated that high work motivation contributed to the increase of the work achievement of staff at Benyamin Guluh Hospital in Kolaka regency; (4) Expertise had an indirect effect on the work achievement of staff via work motivation. This meant that high expertise was be able to promote work motivation, and then affected the work achievement of staff at Benyamin Guluh Hospital in Kolaka regency.Keywords: Expertise, work motivation, staff’s work achievement

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and explain the effect of education, training, and financial compensation, either partially or simultaneously, on performance of extension workers at the Office of Forestry of Muna regency. The study used a survey design and explanatory research approach. Data were collected through cross section using a questionnaire. Respondents of the study were 33 agricultural extension workers at the Office of Forestry of Muna regency. To test hypotheses, the Multivariate Regression Analysis (MRA) was used. Results of the study showed that of education, training, and financial compensation, either partially or simultaneously, had positive and significant effects on performance of extension workers at the Office of Forestry of Muna regency. It could therefore be concluded that increasing education, training, and financial compensation as reflected or prioritized in the match of highest educational background and their job as extension workers, trainer’s/instructor’s ability to present training materials according to their qualification and to motivate trainees, and financial compensation, can positively and significantly contribute either partially or simultaneously to the improvement of the extension workers’ performances.Keywords: education, training, financial compensation, performance of agricultural extension workers

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and image on satisfaction and loyalty and to examine the mediating effect of satisfaction on service quality and image on the loyalty of village officials in Wakatobi Regency. This study takes the object at the Department of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Community Empowerment and Rural Wakatobi. The population in this study were all village officials in Wakatobi district, the sample of this study amounted to 75 village officials in Wakatobi Regency. Data collection using questionnaires and data analysis tools using Partial Least Square (PLS).The results of this study can be concluded that service quality has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction. Service quality has a positive and significant effect on loyalty. Image has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction. Image has a positive and significant effect on loyalty. Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on loyalty. Satisfaction mediates the effect of service quality on loyalty and the type of mediation is partial mediation. Satisfaction mediates the effect of image on loyalty and the type of mediation is partial mediation.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) To find out the Effect of Service Quality on Student Satisfaction at Avicenna's STIK (High School of Health Sciences) Kendari; (2) To determine the effect of lecturer competence on student satisfaction at the Avicenna Kendari Institute of Health Sciences (STIK); (3) To find out the Effect of Service Quality and Lecturer Competence on Student Satisfaction in Avicenna's STIK (College of Health Sciences) Kendari. Population in this study were all Avicenna Kendari students of STIK (College of Health Sciences) Avicenna Kendari class of 2015, 2016 and 2017 registered on 2017/2018 school year totaling 446 people. The sample in this study was 211 respondents using the Slovin method. The type of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis method used in this research is descriptive analysis and inferential statistics, namely Multiple Linear Regression. The results of the study stated that: (1) Service quality has a significant effect on student satisfaction at Avicenna's STIK (High School of Health Sciences) Kendari; (2) Lecturer competence has a significant effect on student satisfaction at the Avicenna Kendari School of Health Sciences (STIK); (3) Service quality and lecturer competence have a significant effect on student satisfaction at Avicenna Kendari Institute of Health Sciences
