Abstract

Performance is an illustration of the level of achievement of the implementation of a program, activity, or policy in realizing the goals, objectives, mission, and vision of the organization contained in strategic planning in an organization. The purpose of this study was to review the performance of the Merauke Regency Environmental Service in handling waste. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive technique to explain the performance of the Merauke Regency Environmental Service in handling waste. The study's findings indicated that the quality of services carried out by the Environmental Service in Merauke Regency in terms of the performance of community waste transportation in the Merauke city region is considered to have been running well and ideally. However, the responses from both parties, the Environmental Service in Merauke Regency and the people who subscribe to waste transportation, consider that the quality of service still does not meet the standards or has not met the expected expectations. It can be said that the parties in charge have carried out their respective performance or duties in accordance with the duties, principal, and functions.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is How is the process and achievement of public service accountability in making E-KTP at the population and civil registration office of North Central Timor Regency. This study aims to analyze the process and achievement of public service accountability in making E-KTP at the population and civil registration office of North Central Timor District. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The data sources used are informants and documents. Data collection techniques are carried out by conducting observations, interviews, qualitative data analysis models: Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study explain that legal accountability and honesty at the TTU district headquarters in the E-KTP making service have strictly complied with the operational standards (SOP) that have been set. Process accountability in making E-KTP at the dukcapil of TTU district has been clearly regulated and carried out in a structured manner, starting from requirements, registration, recording, to printing E-KTP. Program accountability at the TTU district dukcapil is the application of the queue number system, and in the E-KTP making service program has reached the national target of 98%. Policy accountability at the TTU district dukcapil is that all dukcapil employees have clear responsibilities ranging from responsibilities to local government to responsibilities to the community

Abstract

Coordination is needed in the process of carrying out work in an organisation, where there is a process of regulating and combining interests that are useful in achieving common goals. Good coordination will ultimately provide maximum work results because the entire work process in an agency can be carried out properly. One of the work processes in an agency is records management, which is one of the important aspects of office work. Records management in Merauke Regency Transportation Office has not been carried out effectively and efficiently. This can be seen from the delay in filing the letters and the lack of storage space for the archives, resulting in the amalgamation of different types of letter archives. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of coordination on archive management at the Merauke Regency Transportation Office. This research uses an associative method with a total research sample of 54 people. Data was collected through literature review and field study. The field study was conducted by direct observation and questionnaire. The results showed that there was an effect of coordination on archive management at Merauke Regency Transportation Office, so it could be concluded that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze business models that can be applied to achieve stability and affordability of strategic commodity prices in Papua Selatan Province. The region faces various challenges such as geographical factors, limited infrastructure, and long supply chains, all of which contribute to commodity price fluctuations. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, in-depth interviews, and secondary data analysis to identify effective business models. The results show that integrated business approaches, partnerships with local communities, and the utilization of digital technology can significantly reduce operational costs and improve distribution efficiency. Integrated farming models and the use of blockchain technology have proven effective in reducing dependence on intermediaries and enhancing supply chain transparency. Additionally, government and private sector partnership programs in infrastructure development also show great potential in reducing logistics costs. By implementing more efficient and integrated business models, it is expected that the prices of strategic commodities in Papua Selatan can be kept stable and affordable, thus improving community welfare. This study suggests that government support in the form of subsidies and incentives, as well as enhancements in economic and technological literacy, are crucial for the successful implementation of these business models.

Abstract

Public services are all activities to fulfill basic needs in accordance with the basic rights of every citizen to goods, services and/or administrative services provided by service providers. The task of central and regional governments is to provide public services that satisfy the community. Regional autonomy policies in Indonesia result in regional governments having responsibility and authority in determining minimum service standards. The fundamental problem in the service process is ethics. There are no standards regarding ethics and sanctions that specifically regulate violations committed by officials in public services. It is hoped that the granting of autonomy to district and city governments will be more responsive in responding to various problems developing in the regions so that development programs in meeting community needs become more effective. Regional governments through regional autonomy have great authority in determining policies, including policies regarding quality public services in accordance with the situation and conditions in the region. The changing demands and growing needs of society are changing the orientation of service quality. The quality of service is now determined by the community, not the government anymore. Thus, the assessment of service quality is not based on recognition from the service provider, but rather the service recipient (society).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the population administration information system (SIAK) application at the Merauke District Office based on Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 95 of 2019 concerning Population Administration Information Systems (SIAK). The method used in this study is a qualitative method using data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using interactive analysis which consisted of three stages namely; data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that in general the application of SIAK at the Merauke District Office has not gone well and an orderly population administration has not been realized. Based on the indicators used, namely population data processing, presenting population data, and making population biodata, it can be seen in the data processing indicators that are still manual, in the data presentation indicators that are still not accurate, fast and on target and in the indicators of making population biodata, it is good in terms of utilization felt by the community but the services provided are still not effective and efficient. Supporting factors are the existence of facilities and infrastructure that are quite complete and the existence of a SIAK implementation budget from the local government. While the inhibiting factors are the low knowledge of employees/staff regarding SIAK and computer operation, there is no SIAK operator, the community does not understand the importance of having population data, and there are no regulations governing the implementation of SIAK at the Merauke District Office.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of student satisfaction with the quality of administrative services at STIA Karya Dharma Merauke. This research is a descriptive quantitative study using survey methods. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The population of this study is all active students for the academic year 2023/2024, totaling 478 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling, and a sample of 83 students was obtained. The data analysis technique used is the Community Satisfaction Index (CSI), in this case, students. The research results show that student satisfaction based on direct evidence indicators generally has an average score of 60.17, which falls into the Fair category. Student satisfaction based on the responsiveness indicator falls into the good category with an average score of 67.85. The Reliability Indicator with an average score of 79.72 falls into the Good category. The Empathy Indicator with a score of 78.82 falls into the Good category. The service procedure indicator with a score of 79.07 falls into the Good category. The Justice Indicator received a service score of 80.42, which falls into the Good category. Meanwhile, the environmental comfort indicator received a score of 60.24, which falls into the Satisfactory category. On the service security indicator, the score is 76.20, categorized as Good. Overall, student satisfaction with the quality of administrative services at STIA Karya Dharma Merauke falls into the good category

Abstract

The quality of administrative staff services will increase student satisfaction and increase the university's superiority in competition. Increasing employee motivation and performance, or their work performance, is one of the efforts that is expected to improve the quality of administrative services. This research aims to determine the relationship between the motivation of administrative employees and their performance on the quality of academic administration services at UIN Syahada Padangsidimpuan. The actual condition of the variable quality of academic administration services within the Academic Directorate of UIN Syahada Padangsidimpuan can be seen from the highest sub-variable, namely the reliability sub-variable. The second sub variable is the tangible sub variable. The third sub variable is the assurance sub variable. The fourth sub variable is responsiveness and the lowest is the empathy sub variable. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on the quality of academic administration services at the Academic Directorate of UIN Syahada Padangsidimpuan by 16.18%. The performance of administrative employees has a positive and significant effect on the quality of academic administration services at the Academic Directorate of the Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan State Islamic University by 30.03%. Overall, the motivation and performance of administrative employees regarding the quality of academic administration services at the Academic Directorate of the Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan State Islamic University is 86.9%. The remaining 13.1% is the influence that comes from other factors.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of tourism development policies in Banten Lama, Banten Province, using a mixed scanning model. Banten Lama, as a cultural heritage area, has great potential for historical and religious tourism. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of policy implementation and identify challenges faced. The research method used is descriptive analysis with primary data obtained through interviews and secondary data from documents and archives. The results show that although the strategic policy has been well formulated through the 2017 MoU and Serang City Regional Regulation No. 14/2014, its implementation in the field is more incremental and adaptive to various obstacles, such as inter-agency coordination, conflicts of interest, and human resource capacity. The mixed scanning model proved relevant in analyzing this complexity, allowing for strategy adjustments while sticking to long-term goals. The research recommends the establishment of a special management agency for Banten Lama, the preparation of standardized SOPs, empowerment of localcommunities, and strict enforcement of rules to realize sustainable tourism governance and optimization of Banten Lama's potential as a leading destination.

Abstract

This research discusses human resource management strategies to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational operations. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review related to theories, models and best practices in HR management. The results of the discussion show that strategies such as appropriate recruitment and selection, employee competency development through continuous training, performance- based rewards, and effective workload management play an important role in achieving operational efficiency. Utilization of technology, such as Human Resource Information Systems, helps speed up administrative processes and support strategic decision making. Additionally, employee training and development allows organizations to remain relevant to the changing external environment. Challenges identified include resistance to change and lack of leadership support, which requires data-driven solutions and strategic adaptation. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating HR strategy in organizational management to increase competitiveness in a dynamic market.
