Abstract

This research was conducted on graduates of Serelo Lahat University post-covid'19 from 2020 to 2022. The aim was to determine the Influence of Locus of Control and Parental Support individually on the Quality of Serelo Lahat University graduates, and to determine the Influence of Locus of Control and Parental Support together on the Quality of Serelo Lahat University graduates. The research design employed was Associative/Quantitative. From the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that the Locus of Control variable (X₁) had a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a positive and significant influence on Graduate Quality. However, the Parental Support variable (X₂) had a non-significant value of 0.845 > 0.05, indicating no positive and significant influence on Graduate Quality. Furthermore, the results of hypothesis testing showed that both Locus of Control (X₁) and Parental Support (X₂) together had a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that they jointly significantly influence Graduate Quality (Y).

Abstract

This research aims to analyze financial management in four types of small MSME businesses in Palangka Raya City, namely the coconut ice business, the Gambang bread business, the meatball business, and the crepes business. The analytical methods used include liquidity analysis, profitability ratios, and common size analysis to understand the financial performance of each business. Data was collected through interviews with business owners and collecting financial data from business records. The results of the analysis show variations in financial management between the four types of businesses, with findings highlighting the specific challenges and opportunities facing each type of business. The implications of this research provide valuable insights for business owners and other stakeholders in improving financial management and financial performance of small MSMEs in Palangka Raya City.

Abstract

MSME stands for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. According to Law Number 20 of 2008 concerning Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSMEs are productive economic businesses owned by individuals or business entities that meet the criteria for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises as stipulated in the Law. This study aims to analyze marketing strategies and product diversification applied by four MSMEs in Indonesia: Sweet Martabak Sellers (Selling egg martabak and sweet martabak), Bakpao Sellers (Selling buns with various fillings), Es Dawet, Telor Gulung, Seafood Carts. This study used qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the findings, the four MSMEs implemented various marketing strategies and product diversification to increase sales and reach a wider market. Common marketing strategies include social media promotions, discounts and attractive offers, and participation in local events. Product diversification carried out by MSMEs includes the development of new menus, offering combo packages, and selling products online. This study provides several important findings and recommendations for MSMEs. Key findings show that effective marketing strategies and product diversification can help MSMEs become more competitive and sustainable in the digital era. The main recommendations for MSMEs are to continue to innovate and adapt to market trends, improve the quality of products and services, and utilize digital technology to reach a wider range of customers.

Abstract

To properly handle workplace discrimination, it's important to look at it from an ethical and legal standpoint. Discrimination in the workplace is a serious challenge for businesses and organizations. In addition to harming victimized individuals, it can also damage a company's reputation and disrupt productivity and relationships in the workplace. Legal protection, such as ILO Convention No. 111, is essential to safeguard workers' rights and ensure fair labor relations. The ethics of discrimination guides behavior toward others by moral principles such as justice, equality, respect for human dignity, empathy, and social responsibility. This study aims to understand discriminatory actions in the workplace through legal and ethical perspectives using a literature review approach. This literature study approach is carried out by collecting and reviewing theoretical references that are in accordance with the cases obtained. So that the results of the literature review obtained show that law and ethics have an important and necessary role to prevent discrimination in the workplace. The application of ethics and laws is very important in creating a work environment free from discrimination.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze industrial conditions in Indonesia with a focus on the oil and gas processing industry (oil and gas) and non-oil and gas industries. This study uses a descriptive approach by collecting secondary data from various official sources such as the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Ministry of Industry, and the annual reports of related companies. The analysis results show that the oil and gas and non-oil and gas processing industries have a significant contribution to the Indonesian economy, but face different challenges. The oil and gas industry, although it plays a large role in state revenues and exports, experiences fluctuations in world oil prices which affect its stability. On the other hand, the non-oil and gas industry shows more stable and diversified growth, with sectors such as manufacturing, textiles and electronics being the main pillars. This research also identifies various factors that influence the development of these two types of industry, including government policy, foreign investment, and infrastructure. It is hoped that these findings can provide insight for policy makers and stakeholders in formulating strategies to advance industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research examines the "Historical and Pragmatic Approach Strategy" in the context of policy analysis and implementation. The historical approach focuses on tracing policy developments from the past to understand the context and factors that influenced their formation. Meanwhile, the pragmatic approach emphasizes implementing practical solutions that are adaptive to current situations and dynamic needs. Through a combination of these two approaches, this research aims to produce a more comprehensive and responsive policy strategy. This study uses qualitative methods with secondary data analysis from various historical and contemporary policy sources. The research results show that a combination of historical and pragmatic approaches can increase policy effectiveness by enriching understanding of the roots of problems and offering solutions that are relevant and applicable in the current context.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the dilemma of population problems which can act as an obstacle or driver of development. In this study, demographic factors such as population growth, population distribution, and socio-economic dynamics are evaluated to understand their impact on the development process. Through qualitative methods, this research collects and analyzes secondary data from various sources, including population reports, development studies, and academic literature. The research results show that population conditions can become an obstacle when population growth is not balanced with infrastructure and resource capacity. However, with proper management, population can also be a driver of development through optimizing the workforce and increasing productivity. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the importance of adaptive and data-based policy strategies to overcome population dilemmas in the context of sustainable development.

Abstract

The problem currently facing Indonesia is unemployment which continues to increase due to limited job opportunities. One thing that can be done to overcome this is by providing entrepreneurial activities. This research is to explore problems regarding factors that can influence interest in entrepreneurship among vocational school students in Soloraya, namely Entrepreneurship Education, Self-efficacy, Advertising Intelligence & Locus of Control. This research aims to establish the theory of planned behavior, especially to explain the role of self-efficacy, adversity intelligence & interest in entrepreneurship. This research involved 316 vocational school students studying in Soloraya which showed that entrepreneurship education, adversity intelligence and locus of control had no effect on interest in entrepreneurship. Meanwhile, self-efficacy is able to influence students' interest in entrepreneurship in vocational schools throughout Solo Raya. This research was tested using the smart PLS analysis.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the performance of employees in the Deputy for National Level Leadership Education (Debiddikpimkatnas) of Lemhannas RI, to find out the level of Organizational Culture of employees of Debiddikpimkatnas of Lemhannas RI; find out the impact of organizational training for Lemhannas RI Debiddikpimkatnas employees; see the impact of performance motivation of Lemhannas RI Debiddikpimkatnas employees. The results of the research study show that the existence of organizational culture has quite a significant influence on the performance of Debiddikpimkatnas employees, as indicated by the t significance number of 0.027 which has a value smaller than alpha = 0.05, namely (0.027 < 0.05) with a regression coefficient of 0.244. The training provided by the organization has quite a significant influence on the performance of Debiddikpimkatnas employees, as shown by the t significance number of 0.003 which has a value smaller than alpha = 0.05, namely (0.003 < 0.05) with a regression coefficient of 0.646. Motivation does not have a significant effect on the performance of Debiddikpimkatnas employees, as shown by the t significance result of 0.541 where this figure is greater than alpha = 0.05 (0.541 > 0.05) with a regression coefficient of 0.098. The cultural variables contained within an organization and the impact of training provided by the organization move simultaneously to have quite a significant influence on the performance of Lemhannas RI Debiddikpimkatnas employees, as indicated by the F coefficient significance number of 0.0001 which is lower than alpha = 0.05, namely (0.0001 < 0.05) and has been proven to contribute to employee performance as much as 53.9%, while the other 46.1% has been explained outside the research model factors.

Abstract

In the dynamic business era, UMKM Circle Store has come under scrutiny, facing various strengths and challenges. This phenomenon serves as the focal point of research to gain a profound understanding of the internal strengths, external opportunities, weaknesses, and threats that Circle Store may encounter. The research aims to identify key factors influencing the business performance of UMKM Circle Store, particularly through the SWOT approach. A qualitative research method was employed, involving in-depth interviews, direct observations, and analysis of relevant documents. This identification process is carried out through internal and external factors, IFAS and EFAS, as well as the SWOT matrix. The research findings reveal that the internal factor or IFAS attains an overall score of 3.51, while the external factor or EFAS obtains an overall score of 3.82. This indicates the potential to optimize strengths and opportunities while minimizing weaknesses and threats.
