Abstract

This research aims to develop media of comic mathematics with realistic mathematics education Indonesia approach on social arithmetics for seventh-grade junior high school. This developmental research develops a comic of mathematics using the development model from Borg and Gall with five stages. The five stages are (1) Need analysis for teacher dan students; (2) planning and developing the product; (3) the validation from material and language experts and media experts; (4) small group test; (5) significant group test. The data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The feasibility of the product was assessed by processing data from a questionnaire based on the validation results of media experts, validation of material and language experts, teachers, and students not only in a small group test but also in a significant group test. The result of this research is a comic of mathematics with a realistic mathematics education approach to social arithmetics. Based on this research, the percentage of the product feasibility was 86,40%, categorized as very feasible. Based on data, it can be implied that the media of comic mathematics with a realistic mathematics education approach to social arithmetics is feasible to use. Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menelaah dan menghasilkan kajian tentangimplementasi metode Brainstorming berbantu alat peraga matematika terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental dengansampel yang diteliti sebanyak 72 peserta didik tingkat SMP secara random. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dalam penelitian ini teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kemampuan komunikasi matematis berbentuk uraian. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan uji-t setelah dilakukan uji prasyarat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan metode Brainstormingerbantu alat peraga lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan yang tidak diajar menggunakan metode Brainstorming berbantu alat peraga. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran Brainstormingberbantu alat peraga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik dengan kriteria sedang. ABSTRACT Thestudy aims to determine whether or not there is an implementation of theBrainstorming method assisted aid teaching to the students’mathematical communication ability. Thesample of this research are 72 students. The research used data collection method by using instrument test of mathematical communication ability in the form ofdescription. Data analysis techniques using t-test after the prerequisite test. Based on the results of the study it was found that the average of mathematical communication ability of students taught using the Brainstorming methodassisted props were higher than those not taught using the Brainstorming methodassisted props. It can be concluded that theBrainstorming method assisted props can improve mathematical communication ability of students with medium criteria. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan problem based learning berbasis self-directed learning oriented assessment terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Sampelpenelitian ini adalahsiswa Kelas VIII A dan VIII B SMP Empu Tantular Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan datanyaadalahtes tertulis denganinstrumen soal tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika pada materi garis singgung lingkaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa di kelas eksperimen yang mempunyai rata-rata skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika mencapai KKM lebih dari 75%. Rata-rata nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika di kelas eksperimen lebih dari pada rata-rata nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika di kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan problem based learningberbasis self-directed learning oriented assessmentefektif pada pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. This study aims to know the effectivity of problem based learning based self-directed learning oriented assessmentto students’ problem solving ability. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa Keas VIII A dan VIII B SMP Empu Tantular Semarang.The samples were studentsin class VIII A and VIII B SMP Empu Tantular Semarang.Kelas eksperimen adalah kelas VIII B yang menggunakan pembelajaran PBL berbasis SLOA.Data is collected by written test which contains mathematical problems oncircle tangent line.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa di kelas eksperimen yang mempunyai rata-rata skor kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika mencapai KKM lebih dari 75%.The results showed that students in the experimental class whose average score of mathematical problem solving passed the KKM, is more than 75%.Rata-rata nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika di kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari pada rata-rata nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika di kelas kontrol.The average score of mathematical problem solving ability in the experimental class is bigger than in the control class.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan PBL berbasis SLOA efektif pada pencapaian kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa.Thus, the use of problem based learningbased on Self-directed Learning Oriented Assessmentis effective to increase students' mathematical problem solving. Abstract

Students' critical thinking ability in solving FPB and KPK material stories in grade IV is relatively low. The lack of critical thinking ability of these students is because students are not familiar with the question that refers to the level of critical thinking. So that students' critical thinking skills become uneceptible. The purpose of this study is to find out the critical thinking ability of students in working on FPB and KPK stories. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this study was IVC grade students at SD Hang Tuah 10 Juanda as many as 6 students. The technique used is purposive sampling by using data collection method in the form of tests as many as 4 description questions. The results of this study showed that students have not been able to identify information from problems based on story problems, students have not been able to formulate or determine the subject matter, some students are able to solve problems with a variety of alternative solutions correctly, there are also some students who are able to solve problems but with incorrect calculations, and most students have not been able to draw clear conclusions for all problems , and only a small percentage of students are able to draw conclusions correctly. Abstract

Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan suatu konsep yang dipahami akan mengantarkan siswa pada proses pembelajaran yang bermakna. Namun berdasarkan beberapa hasil penelitian yang pernah dilakukan oleh peneliti lainnya menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa masih rendah. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis adalah dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran guided inquiry pada proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis antara siswa yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran guided inquiry lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran secara konvensional. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan tipe penelitian non equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII C - VIII I SMP Negeri 16 Kota Tangerang Selatan. Adapun sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII F sebagai kelas kontrol dengan banyak siswa ada 37 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes tertulis berbentuk essai. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengujian hipotesis dengan uji parametrik (uji t equivalent). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa besarnya rata-rata peningkatan antara siswa yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran guided inquiry lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran secara konvensional. Kata Kunci: kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis, metode pembelajaran guided inquiry, kuasi eksperimen. ABSTRACT The ability of understanding mathematical concepts is one of the abilities that must be possessed by students. This is because a concept that is understood will lead the students to a meaningful learning process. However, based on some research results that have been done by other researchers show that the ability to understand the mathematical concepts of students is still low. One effort to improve the ability of understanding mathematical concepts is to apply guided inquiry learning method in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the average increase in the ability of understanding of mathematical concepts between students using guided inquiry learning method is higher than students using conventional learning methods. The type of research used is quasi experiment with non equivalent type control group design research. The population in this study is the students of class VIII C - VIII I SMP Negeri 16 City Tangerang Selatan. The sample used is class VIII C as experimental class and VIII F as control class with many students there are 37 people. The sampling technique uses cluster sampling. The instrument used is essay writing essay writing. Data collection techniques use tests, observations, and documentation. Hypothesis testing with parametric test (t test equivalent). The results of this study indicate that the magnitude of the average increase between students using guided inquiry learning method is higher compared with students using conventional learning methods. Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the process of developing learning media based on Canva and Kahoot, (2) learning media can be used for the learning process, and (3) improving the problem-solving ability of students who are given mathematics learning with the topic of developed arithmetic series. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPA -1 SMA NEGERI 10 MEDAN. Learning tools developed in the form of learning media using Canva and Kahoot!. Data analysis techniques in developing learning tools used descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that: (1) the learning media development process involved five stages of development, and then before being tested in the field, validation was obtained with the media assessment average score from the media expert team was 3.2 (valid) and material expert was 3.45 (valid). This is because, based on the efficiency aspect based on the results of the student response questionnaire, the first trial obtained a score of 72% (positive) and the second trial was carried out with revisions and got a score of 85% (very positive), and based on the effectiveness of the learning tools developed on the problem-solving abilities of students concluded on: student learning completeness after the use of media by 85%; (2) with the previous description the media can be used as a learning aid with revisions, and (3) the improvement of problem-solving abilities can be seen from the n-Gain value of 0.5 which means it is in the medium category. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan antara konsep diri dengan prestasi akademik mahasiswa pada mata kuliah teori grup. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester IV kelas E Program Studi pendidikan Matematika FKIP UNSIKA. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket konsep diri dan hasil akademik mahasiswa. Dari hasil analisis korelasi sederhana, diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi antara konsep diri dengan prestasi akademik mahasiswa sebesar 0,41. Berdasarkan perolahan data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara konsep diri dengan prestasi akademik mahasiswa pada mata kuliah teori grup. Kata kunci: konsep diri, prestasi akademik, teori grup. ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to describe the corelation betwen self-concept with academic achievement college student in teori grup courses.This research is quantitative experiment with descriptive methode. The subject of this research is college student of Fourth Semester on E Class in Educational Faculty of Singaperbangsa University. The instrument of research is some self-concept questionnaire and academic achievement college student score. The result of simple corelation analysis is 0,41. Based on the data, it concluses that there is positive and significant corelation between self-concept and academic achievement college student in teori grup courses. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa di Indonesia. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya adalah rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan didukung oleh rendahnya disposisi matematis siswa yaitu apresiasi terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan disposisi matematis siswa adalah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) yang menjadikan siswa mandiri, aktif dan fokus dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan disposisi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan model SSCS dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Subyek penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII C (eksperimen) dan VIII D (kontrol) semester 2 SMPN 2 Kota Serang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan skala disposisi matematis. Data hasil penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji perbedaan rata-rata. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran SSCS lebih baik dari siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Disposisi matematis yang menggunakan model pembelajaran SSCS memiliki peningkatan yang lebih rendah atau sama dengan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian model pembelajaran SSCS bisa diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis namun kurang efektif dalam peningkatan disposisi matematis siswa SMP. The instrument used in this research is the ability to comprehend mathematical concepts and mathematical disposition scale. Data of this study were analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, two-party test, and one-party test. The conclusion of this research is the ability of understanding mathematical concepts of students using SSCS learning model better than students using conventional learning model. While mathematical dispositions using SSCS learning models have a lower or equal increase with students using conventional learning models. Thus the SSCS learning model can be applied to improve the comprehension of mathematical concepts but less effective in improving mathematical disposition of Junior High School students. Abstract

The objectives of this study were (1) to increase the motivation to learn the mathematics of students of XII MIPA-2 with three-dimensional material through the application of E-learning using Microsoft Teams and Youtube, (2) to increase the mathematics learning achievement of students of XII MIPA-2 with three-dimensional material through the application of E-learning using Microsoft Teams and YouTube. The method used is classroom action research. Data collection through tests and non-tests. The test technique is to determine learning achievement using the items while the non-test technique is to determine the development of learning motivation using observation sheets. Data analysis used comparative descriptive for learning achievement data and qualitative descriptive for learning motivation data. The results of this classroom action research showed that the students 'motivation to learn mathematics increased from low to high and the average score of students' mathematics learning achievement increased by 20.85% from 65.05 to 78.61 with an increase in completeness level of 57.88%, namely from 52, 78% to 83.33%, so theoretically and empirically through the application of E-learning using the Microsoft Teams and Youtube application it can improve the results of motivation and achievement in learning mathematics in three-dimensional material for students of class XII MIPA-2 SMA Negeri 1 Jepara in the odd semester of 2020 -2021. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis masalah kontekstual untuk meningkatkan kemampuan metakognisi siswa sekolah dasar. Proses pengembangan perangkat terdiri dari tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), dan pengembangan (develop). Perangkat yang dikembangkan meliputi rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar kerja, tes metakognisi, dan kuesioner kemampuan metakognisi pada materi Kelipatan Persekutuan Terkecil (KPK) dan Faktor Persekutuan Terbesar (FPB). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan validasi ahli, observasi, kuesioner, dan tes. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas lima SDN Kalitengah I Tanggulangin Sidoarjo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis masalah kontekstual yang dikembangkan berkualitas baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berkatergori baik, aktivitas siswa berkategori baik, respon metakognisi siswa berkategori positif, ketuntasan hasil belajar metakognisi siswa secara klasikal tercapai. Kemampuan metakognisi siswa menunjukkan hal yang lebih baik dalam hal kesadaran merencanakan, memonitor, dan mengevaluasi proses pemecahan masalah saat dan sesudah pembelajaran berbasis masalah kontekstual. Kata kunci: pembelajaran matematika, metakognisi, pendidikan dasar ABSTRACT This study aims to develop contextual problem based learning instruments to improve elementary school students metacognition. The process consists of define, design, and develop. The research instruments include lesson plan, worksheet, test, and questionnaire of metacognitive ability in the topic of Least Common Multiple (LCM) and Greatest Common Divisor. The data collection was conducted through expert validation, observation, questionnaire, and test. The subjects of the study were the fifth grade students of SDN Kalitengah I Tanggulangin, Sidoarjo. The findings show good quality of the developed learning instruments. More specifically, the implementation of the teaching and learning process, student activity, students metacognition learning outcome, students metacognition response, and metacognition abilit are in good category. The students metacognition show better in awareness of planning, monitoring, and evaluating problem solving process during and after contextual based learning.
