Abstract

This research is based on a phenomenon about the leadership style of PT. Gudang Garam Tbk which is authoritarian. In addition, there is also the problem of compensation in the form of overtime wages which are unevenly distributed by PT Gudang Garam Tbk. In this case, if allowed to drag on, it can affect the level of discipline owned by each personnel. This study uses a quantitative research method. The sample used in this study was 80 respondents using the random sampling/probability sampling method with the ara sampling technique. The data analysis techniques are in the form of technical data analysis, descriptive statistics, validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial tests of the coefficient of determination (R Square) as well as path analysis and sobel tests through the SPSS program 25.0 for windows. The results of this study: (1) The Authoritarian Leadership Style Variable (X1) partially affects but is not significant on Work Discipline (Z) with a statistical value of sig. t 0.179 > 0.05. (2) The Variable of Financial Compensation (X2) partially has a significant effect on Work Discipline (Z) with a statistical value of sig. t 0.037 < 0.05. (3) The Authoritarian Leadership Style variable (X3) partially did not have a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) with a statistical value of sig. t 0.381 > 0.05. (4) The Financial Compensation Variable (X4) partially affects but is not significant on Employee Performance (Y) with a statistical value of sig. t 0.096 > 0.05. (5) The Work Discipline variable (X5) partially has a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) with a statistical value of sig. t 0.000 < 0.05. (6) There is an influence but not significant Authoritarian Leadership Style (X6) on Employee Performance (Y) through Work Discipline (Z) with an r value of 0.076 and the calculation value of 1.292 < ttable 1.991. (7) There is an influence but not significant Financial Compensation (X7) on Employee Performance (Y) through Work Discipline (Z) with an r value of 0.118 and a calculation value of 1,963 < a table of 1,991.

Abstract

The Sumberdem Tourism Village is located in the Wonosari District of Malang Regency. It is situated on the slopes of Mount Kawi, recognised as a site with potential to develop into a tourist destination. The local administration endorses the establishment of a Tourism Village and is optimistic that it will offer remarkable opportunities for community development and economic enhancement. This study identifies the characteristics that facilitate the transition of Sumberdem Village into a tourist destination. The researcher aims to analyse the evolution of Sumberdem Tourism Village. The author employed interviews and documentation methods as data gathering strategies in this research. Interviews were executed systematically, utilising prearranged questions for the participants. The researcher employed SWOT and PEST analytical approaches to enhance the data. Subsequently, researchers employed source triangulation methods to assess the data's validity. This research culminated in a tourism village development strategy that identifies possibilities and risks from both internal and external sources. This research analysis examines the potential effects and future prospects of the study. Sumberdem Village possesses numerous potentials, including coffee plantations, bamboo forests, water springs, and goat farms, alongside social and cultural aspects such as community arts and traditions. The findings indicate that Sumberdem Tourism Village needs assistance from multiple stakeholders to formalise its status as a legitimate tourist destination and to enhance training and development for Pokdarwis and the local population.

Abstract

This paper aims to find out the process of issuance of grosse deed of vessel at KSOP Khusus Batam and to find out the document requirements attached to the issuance of grosse deed of vessel. The methods used in this research are field research and library research. The process of issuance of ship deed grosse at KSOP Khusus Batam is conducted through procedures and requirements that have been set. It aims to ensure the validity and legality of ship ownership in accordance with the provisions of the prevailing laws and regulations. The results of the research in the discussion of the problem of the process of issuing the ship's deed grosse are regulated in PM No. 39 of 2017 concerning Registration and Nationality of Ships authorised by the Minister of Transportation. The process of issuing Grosse Deed of Ship at KSOP Khusus Batam at PT Gardatama Anugerah Segara Sejahtera Batam has been done well but there are still obstacles, namely the error in uploading attachment documents on the ship registration application system so that it causes the submission to be revised, as well as in bringing and checking the physical requirement documents at the time of physical file validation at KSOP Khusus Batam.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) in enhancing the economic empowerment of the community. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative approach. The results show that Islamic boarding schools have great potential in community economic empowerment through three main strategies: 1) Empowering the quality of students through entrepreneurship training, 2) Financial and capital empowerment by acting as Baitul Maaal wa Tamwil, and 3) Product development by involving students in MSME innovation. The implementation of these strategies can make Pesantren a centre for economic empowerment that contributes to improving the welfare of the surrounding community. This study concludes that optimizing the function of pesantren not only as educational institutions but also as agents of community economic empowerment has the potential to have a significant impact on community economic development.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of Brand Image and Product Quality on Customer Loyalty with Satisfaction as an intervening variable on MS Glow Skincare Products at Elena Beauty Store in Tebo Regency. The population in this study is unlimited, and the sample in this study consists of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is Accidental Sampling. The results of the research analysis indicate that Brand Image has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction with MS Glow skincare products at Elena Beauty Store. Product Quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction with MS Glow skincare products at Elena Beauty Store. Furthermore, Brand Image has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty to MS Glow skincare products at Elena Beauty Store in Tebo Regency. Product Quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty to MS Glow skincare products at Elena Beauty Store in Tebo Regency. Consumer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty to MS Glow skincare products at Elena Beauty Store in Tebo Regency. Brand Image and Product Quality have a positive and significant effect on Customer Loyalty, mediated by Satisfaction with MS Glow skincare at Elena Beauty Store in Tebo Regency.

Abstract

MSMEs play a crucial role in ASEAN's economic growth; nonetheless, only 15% have achieved sustained entry into foreign markets, highlighting a deficiency in internationalisation capabilities. This study seeks to examine the impact of digital competence, market intelligence, and international networks on the internationalisation performance of MSMEs in the ASEAN region. A quantitative technique employing a cross-sectional explanatory study design was utilised to collect data from 250 MSME exporters across five principal ASEAN nations (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore) via a structured survey. Multiple regression analysis indicated that digital capacity, market knowledge, and international networks positively and significantly influence MSME internationalisation performance. The findings underscore the necessity of a cohesive strategy for MSME capability development to improve the efficacy of international expansion, while offering strategic direction for policymakers in formulating programs to facilitate MSME internationalisation in the ASEAN area.

Abstract

Employee performance monitoring is one of the key factors in human resource management, especially in a dynamic business sector such as futures trading. PT XYZ, a company engaged in futures trading, faces challenges in managing the performance of Business Consultants (BC) which often arise due to lack of clarity in the division of tasks, lack of accountability, and ineffective coordination. This study aims to optimize employee performance supervision at XYZ through the implementation of the RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) system integrated with Google Sheets. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, where in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation are used to collect data from employees and project managers who are directly involved. The results showed that the RACI system through Google Spreadsheet can clarify employee roles and responsibilities, increase accountability, and facilitate real-time performance monitoring. The modification of the RACI matrix in this spreadsheet also makes it easier for management to improve team collaboration and productivity. Despite technical challenges in its implementation, the system proved effective in optimizing team performance and communication.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Brand Awareness and Electronic Word of Mouth Marketing on Repurchase Intention through Customer Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable in Erigo Fashion in the Shopee Application on Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University. The data used in this research is primary data of 100 samples. This type of research is included in quantitative research. The population in this study were students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Makassar State University who had made purchases from Erigo Fashion on the Shopee Application. Data collection was carried out using documentation and survey methods using questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses PLS (Partial Least Square) analysis. The results of this research show that brand awareness and electronic word of mouth have a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction with Erigo fashion in the Shopee application. Furthermore, customer satisfaction also has a positive and significant impact on repurchase intention. Brand awareness does not have a significant influence on repurchess intention, and electronic word of mouth does not have a significant influence on prepurchess intention. Apart from that, brand awareness influences repurchase intention through customer satisfaction as an intervening variable, while electronic word of mouth also influences repurchase intention through customer satisfaction as and intervening variable.

Abstract

Free trade plays a crucial role in global economic development, especially in the era of globalization, and the ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA) aims to create a single market within the ASEAN region through the liberalization of trade in goods. This study examines the impact of AFTA on Indonesia's economic transformation, including increased export and import volumes as well as regional economic integration, highlighting benefits such as the growth of exports in manufacturing, agriculture, and consumer goods, alongside strengthening domestic industries. However, free trade poses risks, such as competition from imported products that could pressure local producers. Using a qualitative approach through literature studies, the findings show a significant increase in export and import volumes following AFTA implementation, although regional development disparities remain a challenge. This study emphasizes the need for strategies to improve product quality, enhance infrastructure, and build sectoral synergy to ensure inclusive economic integration and drive Indonesia's overall economic progress.

Abstract

The Financial Services Authority (OJK), which has a position as a state institution, was formed based on Law Number 21 of 2011. OJK functions to organize an integrated system of regulation and supervision of all activities in the financial services sector, both in the banking sector, capital markets, and non-bank financial services sectors such as insurance, pension funds, financing institutions, and other financial services institutions (Sulubara, 2023). The Constitutional System of Indonesia (UUD 1945) emphasizes that the Indonesian government system is based on law. In facing challenges and opportunities must be resolved legally. The theoretical studies related to this research are using the theory of legal protection (Musyafah, 2019). This research uses a normative juridical method with the aim of analyzing the role of functions attached to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in accordance with the legislation as the basis for its formation. The challenges faced by the Financial Services Authority in the era of digitalization of financial services are data security and cyber threats, adaptive regulations, digital divide, digital literacy and dependence on third parties. Meanwhile, the opportunities presented by the digitalization of financial services are financial inclusion, product and service innovation, ecosystem collaboration and digital asset development.
