Abstract

Nowadays, the development of the retail business in Indonesia has been increasingly rapid. This is marked by the presence of traditional markets which over time have been replaced by the emergence of modern markets with various types, giving rise to various types of retail shopping centers with different shapes and sizes. This study aims to analyze the mediating role of positive emotions between discounts and bonus packages on impulse purchases at Laris Toserba Sukoharjo. The population in this study were all visitors or consumers of Laris Toserba Sukoharjo and the number of samples used in this study were 97 respondents. The variables used in this study are price discounts, bonus packages, impulse purchases and positive emotions. The data used in this study are primary data. The data collection method used is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) and uses SmartPLS 4.0. The results of this study indicate that, bonus packages have a positive and significant effect on impulse purchases, bonus packages have a positive and significant effect on positive emotions, positive emotions have a positive and significant effect on impulse purchases and mediation of positive emotions has a positive and significant effect on bonus packages on impulse purchases.

Abstract

Currently, many PT Gubah Tiara Perkasa employees, especially LPG gas filling operators, lack awareness of the dangers in the workplace, such as not using personal protective equipment which can result in injury if an incident occurs at the work site. This research was conducted at PT Gubah Tiara Perkasa which is located in the city of Surabaya. The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) program on the productivity of production employees at PT Gubah Tiara Perkasa, Surabaya City. The type of research used is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. In this research, the population is 40 Production Employees at PT Gubah Tiara Perkasa, Surabaya City. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on research, it was found that the Occupational Safety and Occupational Health (K3) program had an effect on the work productivity of production employees at PT Gubah Tiara Perkasa.

Abstract

Changing crew schedules is an activity carried out routinely by the crewing department to carry out the process of crew on standby becoming crew on board or vice versa crew on board becoming crew on standby in accordance with the position and contract period that has been signed by each crew member in the PKL. This research is a quantitative descriptive study which aims to determine the effect of crewing department performance on crew schedule changes. The subjects in this research are the ship's crew and crewing department. Data collection in this research uses the method resulting from company crewing data with analysis techniques using simple liner regression analysis techniques which have positive and significant value in the validity test results and drawing conclusions from the research. The results of this research show that the performance of the crewing department has a big influence on crew schedule changes. From the results of the data analysis, the cause of the delay in changing the crew was due to several factors, including the crew changing the crew's schedule incorrectly with the ship's docking schedule, there were family problems where the crew asked to leave before their contract was completed, there were crew who off-hire and resigned, and the ship's crew change schedule does not match the PKL agreement because the crew has to extend the contract. So efforts that can be made to overcome the obstacles from this research are planning crew changes at least 3 months before each crew's contract period ends, not using extended contracts too often, making a backup schedule, and giving rewards or appreciation to the crew as a form of motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of the SIASN application in SKK services to support operational efficiency of the Directorate of Personnel Status and Position at the State Civil Service Agency. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this research are employees at the Directorate of Personnel Status and Position who are directly involved in using the SKK Services SIASN application. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by identifying patterns and themes that emerged from the data collected. The research results show that the use of the SKK Service SIASN application significantly increases operational efficiency in the Directorate of Personnel Status and Position. This application simplifies the administration process, reduces the time required to complete tasks, and increases data accuracy. Thus, the SKK Services SIASN application plays an important role in supporting more efficient and effective operations within the Directorate of Personnel Status and Position.

Abstract

This study aims to test whether there is an influence between product quality, promotion and design on purchasing decisions. The population in this study were OPPO smartphone users in Driyorejo District, Gresik Regency. The number of samples in this study was 112 respondents. The sampling technique used the purposive sampling method. The research method used is a quantitative method with data sources in the form of primary data, namely questionnaires filled out by respondents via gfrom. The data was processed using SMART PLS by testing the inner model and outer model. The results of this study provide evidence that product quality and design influence purchasing decisions, while promotion does not influence purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Motivation and Work Discipline variables on Employee Performance at J&T Express Drop Center 08 Depok, West Java. The research method used in this study is descriptive with a quantitative approach. Data analysis used includes: Descriptive Statistical Test, Normality, Multicollinearity, Heteroscedasticity, Autocorrelation, Simple Linear Regression, Multiple Linear Regression, t Test (Partial), F Test (Simultaneous), Correlation Coefficient (R) and Determination Coefficient (R2). The results of the study indicate partially that motivation has a significant effect on employee performance as seen from the t test, the t count value is obtained > t table (9.916 > 1.673) and is significant 0.000 <0.05. Then for the work discipline variable, it has a significant effect on employee performance as seen from the t test, the t count value is obtained > t table (11.901 > 1.673) and is significant 0.000 <0.05. Meanwhile, from the results of the F test (simultaneous), a significance value of 0.000 (0.000 <0.05) and an F count value of 107.562 was obtained, which means that F count is greater than F table (107.562> 3.17) which means that the Motivation and Work Discipline variables have an effect on Employee Performance. From the results of the correlation coefficient test, an R value of 0.799 was obtained, which means that the Motivation and Work Discipline variables have a strong correlation level with Employee Performance. However, from the results of the determination coefficient test (R2), the adjusted R square value of 0.792 was obtained, which means that the influence of the Motivation and Work Discipline variables on Employee Performance in this study was 79.2% while the remaining 20.8% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Port clearance is an important document for ships that will sail. However, in practice, the issuance of port clearance often experiences problems and obstacles. This research aims to determine inhibiting factors, as well as efforts to optimize the issuance of SPB or port clearance. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive data analysis technique using the fishbone method, and data collection techniques through interviews, documentation, and observations as research data. Referring to the research results, it shows that factors such as negligence in monitoring ship documents and ineffective communication cause delays in the SPB verification and issuance process, which have an impact on delayed ship departure schedules and increased operational costs. Efforts that can be made to mitigate the consequences of the delay in the departure of MT. Samudra Sindo 38 are efforts to improve ship document monitoring and improve internal and external communication to help optimize the SPB issuance process. Thus, these steps are expected to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of SPB issuance at PT. Taraka Samudera Sejahtera.

Abstract

Human resources are one of the supporting elements of an organization, which can be interpreted as humans who work as humans who work within an organization, as a driving force in achieving its goals. Humans who have competence are assets and function as vital non-material capital in the organization. There are two reasons why human resources influence the efficiency and effectiveness of organizations, designing and producing goods and services, monitoring quality, marketing products, allocating financial resources and determining all organizational goals and strategies. This research uses quantitative analysis using the SPSS program. Based on the results of testing the first hypothesis, it was found that the compensation variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Pasaman Regency Public Works Office. So in this research the first hypothesis (H1) is accepted. Based on the results of testing the second hypothesis (H2), it was found that the work stress variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Pasaman Regency Public Works Office. So, in this research the second hypothesis (H2) is accepted. Compensation (X1) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Pasaman Regency Public Works Office, so the conclusion is that the first hypothesis is accepted. Job stress (X2) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Pasaman Regency Public Works Office, so the conclusion is that the second hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Job satisfaction and employee discipline are closely related to employee performance. In accordance with the subject matter raised, namely the effect of job satisfaction and work discipline on performance at PT Nusatrans Anugerah Makmur.the background of this research is that there have been many cases of low job satisfaction and work discipline PT Nusatrans Anugerah Makmur, this has resulted in negative things. Job satisfaction which is considered positive is an increase in performance, loyalty and commitment to the company. the higher the job satisfaction, the better the employee's work discipline. conversely, the lower the job satisfaction, the worse the employee's work discipline. this study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction and work discipline on employee performance PT Nusatrans Anugerah Makmur. this type of research is associative. The population of this study were all employees at PT Nusatrans Anugerah Makmur and all were sampled. this study uses the census method or saturated sample.The data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires and library data.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the principal leadership style on teacher motivation at DR SOETOMO Vocation School, Surabaya. This research is motivated by the importance of the leadership role of school pricipals in creating a conducive work environment and motivating teaching staff to achieve optimal performance. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey design, involving 31 teachers as respondent. Data was collected through a questionnaire designed to measure the leadership style and level of teacher motivation. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression techniques to identify the relationship between leadership style variables and motivation. The research results show that leadership has a positive and significant influence on teacher motivation. Transformational and participative leadership styles tend to increase teachers motivation, while authoritarian leadership styles have a less significant effect. These findings suggest the need for principals to adopt a more supportive and empowering leadership style to increase teacher motivation and performance. This research contributes to the development of effective leadership strategis in educational environments.
