Abstract

This research aimed to investigate how Investment Motivation and Investment Knowledge affect the Investment Interests of students from the Faculty of Economics and Business in the capital market, using the Investment Gallery of Nusa Nipa University. The study utilized an associative approach with a causal relationship form and a quantitative approach. The population for this study comprised students from the Faculty of Economics and Business of Nusa Nipa University, with a sample size of 94 respondents. The data analysis involved multiple linear regression analysis using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23. The research results showed that (1) investment motivation positively influenced students' interest in the capital market through the investment gallery, (2) investment knowledge also had a positive influence on students' interest in the capital market through the investment gallery, (3) both investment motivation and investment knowledge simultaneously influenced students' interest in the capital market through the investment gallery.

Abstract

The purpose of study was find out and analyze the effect of the debt to equity ratio, return on assets and price to book value on stock return in banking companies which is listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange 2019-2022. In this study using quantitative methods and data analysis method used is panel data analysis. The samples used in this study were 28 banking companies with a total periode of 4 years resulting in 112 data. The results showed that partially, the debt to equity ratio and return on assets has no significant effect on the stock return, while price to book value have a significant effect on the stock return. Simultaneously it shows that the debt to equity ratio, return on assets and price to book value have a significant influence on the stock return in banking companies which is listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange 2019-2022. The results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination show that the debt to equity ratio, return on assets and price to book value have an influence on the stock return of 22.13% and the remaining 77.87% is influenced by other variables outside of this study.

Abstract

This research was carried out in manufacturing activities where it examined the development of AI (Artificial Intelligent) in operational management processes by comparing the extent to which AI has developed in each existing manufacturer and how effective the existence of AI is. Meanwhile, AI was created to make work easier, more efficient and costs in a business cheaper. The method used is a literature study.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the assessment of the success of small and medium-sized snack food industry businesses in Sukabumi City. The samples were taken from 50 Snack Food UMKM/IMKM registered with the Sukabumi City Cooperatives, Industry and Trade Service. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative methods. The research results show that based on Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), two attributes have been identified that must be prioritized, such as having the ability to grow the business (management, financial, administrative, sales skills, creating competitive products), and being oriented towards the future (Vision and Mission, business goals). In addition, the sub variable of business success based on Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), that must be prioritized is the Education sub variable.

Abstract

Developments in the world of retail business require companies to have good marketing strategies to face competition. Impulse buying is a consumer behavior that must be considered when marketing products. MR. DIY is a company operating in the retail industry. Companies in this industry have intense competition. This research aims to determine the influence of a hedonistic lifestyle, visual merchandising, and price discounts on MR impulse buying. DIY Plaza Medan Fair. The influence between hedonistic lifestyle, visual merchandising, and price discounts will be analyzed partially and simultaneously. This research uses quantitative methods with 96 consumers as research samples, with a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire using a Likert scale which was distributed to respondents directly at MR. DIY Plaza Medan Fair, while secondary data was obtained from literature study. Data analysis methods use validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear analysis, and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS. The results of the research show that the hedonistic lifestyle variable has a significant effect on impulse buying. Furthermore, the visual merchandising variable has a significant effect on impulse buying. And the price discount variable does not have a significant effect on impulse buying. The result of the determination test was that the correlation coefficient (R) was 0.58, which means that each variable, namely hedonistic lifestyle (X1), visual merchandising (X2), and price discounts (X3) were interconnected with purchasing decisions (Y) by 58%. This means that a hedonistic lifestyle, visual merchandising and price discounts have contributed to impulse buying..

Abstract

This study is to test and analyze taxpayers' perceptions of income, awareness, tax knowledge and ease of service on taxpayers' compliance in paying land and building taxes in Joglo Village, Banjarsari District, Surakarta City. This study uses the slovin formula so that the sample obtained by 96 respondents However, after the classical assumption test, namely the heteroscedasticity test and the normality test, are not significant or are said to have not passed the test, so the researcher must use outlier data and the respondent data is reduced by 3 to be declared passed. So the number of samples used in this study is 93. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The analysis techniques used were Descriptive Analysis, Validity Test, Reality Test, Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, t-Test, F Test and Coefficient of Determination. This study shows the results that taxpayers' income does not have a significant effect on taxpayers' compliance in paying land and building taxes, taxpayers' awareness does not have a significant effect on taxpayers' compliance in paying land and building taxes, Tax knowledge has a significant effect on taxpayer compliance in paying land and building taxes, ease of service does not have a significant effect on taxpayer compliance in paying land and building taxes

Abstract

This research aimed to (1) find out the description of product quality, price and purchasing decisions, (2) find out the influence of product quality and price on purchasing decisions partially and simultaneously. In this research, the population consisted of 100 consumers of CV Agung Mandiri Motor. Due to the limited population, a purposive sampling technique was used for data collection. Questionnaires were used to collect data, which were then analyzed using descriptive methods and inferential statistics, specifically multiple linear regression. The hypothesis was tested using t-tests and f-tests. The descriptive analysis results indicated that the variables of product quality and price have a sufficient impact on purchasing decisions. However, the t-test statistics showed that these variables individually did not significantly affect purchasing decisions. On the other hand, the f-test statistics suggested that all independent variables collectively have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Additionally, the determination analysis revealed that product quality y and price price contribute to 61 1.6% of purchasing decisions for Honda Scoopy Motorcycles by consumers of CV Agung Mandiri Motor, with the remaining 38.4% influenced by other factors outside the scope of the research variables.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Earning Per Share (EPS), Price to Earning Ratio (PER), and Price to Book Value (PBV) on the share price of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2018 to 2022. The approach used in this research is quantitative and associative approach. the population used is 47 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2018-2022. With the sampling technique using purposive sampling technique as many as 28 banking companies. The results showed that the variables Earning Per Share (EPS), Price to Earning Ratio (PER), and Price to Book Value (PBV) simultaneously influenced the share price of banking companies listed on the IDX for the 2018-2022 period.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price and promotion on Gojek customer satisfaction among students of the Business Administration Department at the State Polytechnic of Medan. This research uses a quantitative method with data collection through questionnaires, involving 101 respondents who are students of the Business Administration Department at the State Polytechnic of Medan and users of Gojek services. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that price and promotion have a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction. This means that the better the price and promotion offered by Gojek, the higher the level of customer satisfaction. These findings imply that Gojek management needs to continually pay attention to pricing and promotional strategies to improve customer satisfaction, especially among students.

Abstract

Brand image has an important role in purchasing decisions. It is related, when the product image has a strong value in the market, it can attract purchasing decisions. Product quality indirectly provides good product quality to customers so that if product consumers have good quality, this will enable consumers to make purchase decisions. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence on how the influence of brand image and product quality on purchasing decisions for scarlett skincare on students in Medan City. The research method used is a quantitative research method. Sampling was carried out using the incidental sampling technique with a total of 96 respondents and data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 26 statistical tools. Where the results of the study show: (1) brand image has a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase Scarlet skincare (2) product quality has a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase Scarlett skincare (3) simultaneously brand image and product quality have a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase Scarlett skincare and (5) the results of the determination coefficient test (R Square) can be seen that Brand Image and Product Quality provide 63.3% in the decision to purchase Scarlet skincare for Medan City students while the remaining 33.7% is influenced by other factors from outside the study.
