Abstract

Human resources are a component that cannot be separated from other tools in a company. The data used is primary data by distributing questionnaires in the form of a Google form by sharing links online and techniques using a Likert scale. Testing was carried out on variables X1 (Work Discipline) and X2 (Communication) as the independent variable against Y (Employee Performance) as the dependent variable. The tool used to process data in this research is SPSS version 25 software. This research was conducted in the period April - June 2024. This research is quantitative research. It is known that the Work Discipline variable (X1) on Employee Performance (Y) seen from the coefficients table shows that the tcount value is 6.775, which means tcount > ttable (6.775 > 2.052) with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. So the hypothesis which states that work discipline partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance can be accepted. Looking at the Communication variable (X2), it is known that tcount > ttable (3.360 > 2.052) with a significance of 0.002 < 0.05. So the hypothesis which states that communication partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance can be accepted. It is known that Fcount is 69.981 > Ftable is 3,340 and the significance is 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Work Discipline and Communication variables simultaneously have a significant effect on Employee Performance.

Abstract

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Fire and Rescue Training Education Office is a government building that serves the community in the field of fire prevention and control. One thing that is done is through discipline and the work environment for employees. This research aims to determine the influence of Work Discipline and Work Environment on Employee Performance at DKI Jakarta Province Fire and Rescue Education and Training Office companies. The research method used is a quantitative method approach with data collection techniques using a total sample or non-probability sampling where the entire population is sampled. The population in question is all employees of the civil service division of the DKI Jakarta Province Fire and Rescue Training Education office, totaling 40 respondents. This research instrument uses a questionnaire to collect data in Likert scale units. In managing data for analysis using the SPSS 20 application with multiple linear regression analysis techniques, the results of multiple linear regression analysis show that Y = 0.894, calculated 8.136 for the variable (X1), and 2.230 for the variable (X2), simultaneously the two independent variables obtained obtained an F count of 53.928. Based on the coefficient of determination test, it was found that the two independent variables had a 74.5% influence on employee performance.

Abstract

The increasing increase in technology from year to year is a phenomenon in this research, one of which is the iPhone brand mobile device. The popularity of the iPhone smartphone is because the product is popular and is always available in every urban and inland area. This research aims to analyze the influence of price and product quality on the decision to purchase an iPhone smartphone at the Medan State Polytechnic, especially the Department of Business Administration. Sample selection used the non-probability sampling method, namely incidental sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out through a questionnaire distributed to 93 respondents who were iPhone smartphone customers. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression with hypothesis testing using the SPSS version 27 program. The research results show that simultaneously price (X1) and product quality (X2) have a positive and significant effect on consumers' purchasing decisions (Y). The research results from the coefficient of determination test (R2) show that the variables Price and Product Quality are able to explain 40.5%, meaning that Price and Product Quality contribute or contribute to the decision to purchase an iPhone smartphone while the remaining 59.5% is influenced by other factors. outside this research.

Abstract

The development of the coffee shop business in Indonesia is now showing rapid growth. One of the cities in Indonesia that has a rapidly growing coffee shop business is Medan. With the emergence of more coffee shops, there can be more intense competition in the coffee industry, to gain this competitive advantage, one of the things that can be done is to do social media marketing. One of the coffee shops in Medan city that does social media marketing is Makecents Coffee Space, Makecents Coffee Space does social media marketing through social media Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok to promote their products and places. This study aims to determine the effect of social media marketing on consumer purchasing decisions for Makecents coffee shop. The type of research used in this research is quantitative. The population used in this study were visitors to Makecents coffee shop. The number of respondents consisted of 100 people, with incidental sampling techniques and sample determination using the Lemeshow formula. The results showed that all social media marketing variables influenced the purchasing decisions of Makecents coffee shop consumers, which amounted to 73.5%, the remaining 26.5% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This quantitative research aims to answer questions about the influence of Brand Image and Price Perception on the Decision to Purchase Gacoan Noodles. Quantitative research methodology using survey methods. The sampling technique used the incidental technique with a sample size of 95 respondents. The data collection technique uses Multiple Linear Regression. The research results show that Brand Image has a partial influence on purchasing decisions for Gacoan Noodle Products. This is proven by the tcount value of 4.698 and a significance value of 0.000. Price perception partially influences purchasing decisions for Mie Gacoan products. This is proven by the t-count result of 8.971 and a significance value of 0.000. Meanwhile, based on the statistical calculation of Simultaneous tests on Purchasing Decisions, it can be concluded that Brand Image and Price Perception simultaneously influence Purchasing Decisions on Mie Gacoan products. This is proven by the Fcount of 63.885 and a significance value of 0.000. Based on the calculation of the Coefficient of Determination, it can be explained that the Ajasted R Square value is 0.572, which means that Purchase Decisions can be explained by the Brand Image and Price Perception variables of 58,1%, while 41,9% is explained by other variables not included in this research.

Abstract

The closure of TikTok Shop has caused significant polemics, especially regarding the responsibility of e-commerce platforms as well as operational impacts on business and society, such as decreased revenue in the shipping sector, including J&T Express Bandar Lampung. This study aims to analyse the post-closure impact of TikTok Shop on J&T Express' revenue volume, and evaluate it from a sharia perspective. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation in the form of reports and literature. Data collection techniques include field observations and interviews with relevant parties. The results showed that the closure of TikTok Shop had a significant impact, reflected in the decrease in receipt volume at J&T Express Tanjung Gading, where around 70% of revenue came from the platform. From a sharia perspective, the closure of TikTok Shop can be considered appropriate if the platform violates sharia principles, such as justice, responsibility, and consumer protection. If the shutdown contributes to the reduction of exploitation and economic injustice, then the action is in line with sharia values.

Abstract

E-trust has an important role for consumers because especially transactions carried out by consumers through the Marketplace (online) have quite high potential risks compared to offline purchases, e-service quality indirectly provides customersatisfaction so that if consumers feel satisfied they will want to buy again will alsoincrease. The research method used is a quantitative research method. Sampling was carried out using incidental sampling technique with a total of 96 respondents and data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression using SPSS version 22 statistics. The research results show was e-trust has an effect on repurchase intention with a t value of 6.050 and a significance value of 0.000, e-service quality has an effect on repurchase intention with a tcount value of 6.505 and a significance value of 0.000, simultaneously e-trust and e-service quality influence repurchase intention with a fcount of 241.902 and a significance value of 0.000, the adjusted R square coefficient of determination test result is 0.835 which means that 83, 5% of Shopee e- commerce repurchase intention is influenced by e-trust and e-service quality while the remaining 16.5% repurchase intention isinfluenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

In the context of Human Resource Management (HRM), two aspects that play a key role in shaping employee performance are motivation and leadership style. This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and leadership style on employee performance at PT Jasa Raharja North Sumatra Branch. Data was collected from 40 respondents using a saturated sample and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The method used in this research is quantitative method with regression analysis technique. The results of the study show that work motivation (X1) has a significant partial effect on employee performance (Y), with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 and a calculated value > t table value, which is 3.520 > 2.02619. Conversely, leadership style (X2) has no significant partial effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.893 > 0.05 and a calculated value < t table value, which is 0.135 < 2.02619. However, simultaneously, work motivation and leadership style have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a calculated F value (14.484) > F table value (3.24) and a significance value (0.000) < (0.05). The regression analysis shows that the regression coefficient X1 is 0.496, indicating that work motivation has a positive effect on employee performance, while the regression coefficient X2 is 0.017, indicating that leadership style also has a positive effect on employee performance, although not significant when considered partially. The R square value of 0.439 shows that 43.9% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by work motivation and leadership style, while the remaining 56.1% is influenced by other factors not examined. This study concludes that both work motivation and leadership style together improve employee performance at PT Jasa Raharja North Sumatra Branch.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify strategies that can be implemented to improve the quality of health services through QMS ISO 9001:2015 and their impact on patient satisfaction and operational efficiency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method in several hospitals that have implemented ISO 9001:2015. Data was collected through interviews with management, staff and patients, as well as analysis of documents related to the implementation of SMM. The results of this research show the implementation of Quality Management Principles: Hospitals that implement ISO 9001:2015 principles, such as customer focus and a risk-based approach, experience an increase in patient satisfaction and a reduction in complaints. Staff Involvement Staff involvement in the quality management process through training and feedback sessions has been proven to increase their motivation and commitment to quality standards. Performance Measurement: The use of clear performance indicators allows hospitals to identify strengths and weaknesses in their services, thereby facilitating continuous improvement. Patient Feedback : Hospitals that routinely collect and analyze patient feedback can identify areas for improvement, which has a positive impact on the overall patient experience.  Continuous Improvement: By implementing the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle, hospitals can ensure that their processes and procedures are always updated and relevant.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of operational management quality on company performance. Quality operational management is considered a key factor in creating efficiency, effectiveness and competitiveness. The research results show that there is a significant positive relationship between the quality of operational management and company performance. Aspects such as good planning, process control and continuous improvement contribute greatly to achieving company goals. Additionally, companies that implement good operational management practices demonstrate higher levels of customer satisfaction and reduced operational costs. These findings emphasize the importance of investing in the quality of operational management to improve company performance and competitiveness in an increasingly competitive market. Recommendations for companies include training operational managers, implementing information technology, and emphasizing a culture of continuous improvement.
