Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has encouraged UMKM to utilize digital platforms for marketing and sales activities. In online transactions, consumer trust is a crucial factor, as consumers cannot physically inspect products or interact directly with sellers. This study aims to analyze the impact of service responsiveness and digital service security on consumer trust at KS Agsa Collection Store in Colomadu, Karanganyar. A quantitative approach with a causal-associative research design was employed. Data were collected via questionnaires distributed to 87 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis involved multiple linear regression, partial tests, simultaneous tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that both service responsiveness and digital service security have a positive and significant effect on consumer trust. Furthermore, the two variables jointly exert a significant influence on consumer trust. These findings demonstrate that fast, accurate, and responsive service, combined with secure digital transaction processes, can enhance consumer trust. The study implies that MSMEs need to continuously improve service responsiveness and maintain digital service security to strengthen consumer trust, boost customer loyalty, and ensure business sustainability in the digital era.

Abstract

Aviation Safety is highly dependent on effective communication between Air Traffic Controllers (ATCs) and pilots. Communication is a vital component of the Air Traffic Services (ATS) system, serving to prevent collisions, regulate air traffic flow, and provide essential safety information. However, data from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and Indonesia's National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) indicate that approximately 60–70% of aviation incidents are caused by human error, with Communication Breakdown being one of the most significant contributing factors. In Indonesia, the rapid increase in air traffic following the COVID-19 pandemic has heightened the risk of miscommunication, particularly during peak traffic periods and emergency situations. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the factors contributing to Communication Breakdown, its impact on Aviation Safety, and evidence-based mitigation strategies identified in the literature. The study employed a literature review using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) approach. A total of 10 nationally accredited SINTA 3–6 journals published between 2018 and 2025, along with KNKT reports and ICAO documents, were analyzed thematically. The findings identified four dominant factors contributing to Communication Breakdown: the use of non-standard Phraseology, English language proficiency below ICAO Level 4, ATC workload and fatigue, and technical factors such as frequency interference and stuck microphone. The consequences of miscommunication include loss of separation, runway incursion, near miss incidents, and the potential for fatal accidents. Recommended mitigation strategies include strengthening ICAO English Proficiency training, implementing Controller–Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC)/Data Link technology, enforcing readback-hearback procedures, adopting Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM), and improving fatigue risk management for ATCs. This study is expected to serve as a reference for AirNav Indonesia and aviation education institutions in enhancing communication standards to support Aviation Safety in Indonesia.

Abstract

Sales dynamics, rising operational costs, failure to meet profit targets, the need for product rework, and the demand for products that keep pace with changing trends indicate that Devano Silver Singapadu still faces challenges in achieving sustainable performance. These conditions suggest that the company's sustainability is influenced not only by economic factors but also by its ability to manage internal resources to create product competitive advantage. This study aims to examine how work competence influences long-term performance through product competitive advantage at Devano Silver Singapadu. Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis was employed as the quantitative method. Purposive sampling was used to select a sample of 120 respondents. The results indicate that work competence does not directly affect sustainable performance but has a positive and significant impact on product competitive advantage. Product competitive advantage positively and significantly influences sustainable performance and fully mediates the impact of work competence on sustainable performance. These findings suggest that work competence must first be translated into product competitive advantage to enhance the company's sustainable performance. It is recommended that Devano Silver Singapadu strengthen the technical competence of its artisans, enhance design innovation and product quality, optimize production process efficiency, and reinforce sustainability practices to continuously improve its competitiveness and business viability.

Abstract

The aging process leads to a decline in body functions, particularly muscle strength, balance, and postural control. These physiological changes increase the susceptibility of older adults to falls, which may result in injuries, reduced functional capacity, and decreased independence in performing activities of daily living (ADL). This study aimed to evaluate the effects of Tandem Walking Exercise (TWE) and Ankle Strategy Exercise (ASE) on reducing fall risk and to compare the effectiveness of both interventions among older adults in Jatiyoso. This study employed a quasi-experimental method using a two-group pretest-posttest design. A total of 30 older adults were recruited through purposive sampling and allocated into two intervention groups: the TWE group (n = 15) and the ASE group (n = 15). Both groups received 12 exercise sessions over four weeks, with a frequency of three sessions per week. Fall risk was assessed using the Timed Up and Go Test (TUGT). Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and the Mann-Whitney U Test. The results showed that both Tandem Walking Exercise and Ankle Strategy Exercise significantly reduced fall risk among older adults (p < 0.001 and p = 0.001, respectively). Furthermore, the between-group analysis revealed a significant difference in effectiveness (p = 0.004), with the Tandem Walking Exercise group demonstrating a greater reduction in fall risk than the Ankle Strategy Exercise group. These findings suggest that Tandem Walking Exercise may be considered a more effective intervention for reducing fall risk among older adults.
