Abstract

School is an educational institution that has the goal of educating the nation's successors and producing quality output. In achieving these goals, schools need an organizational structure that can carry out its functions properly. The principal plays a key role as a driving force in improving the quality of education in schools, where schools are considered as educational organizations. This article will discuss the role of the principal in improving the quality of education in schools, namely the role of the principal in management in schools, the role of the principal as a key in creating a good organizational structure, and the role of the principal as an agent of change and role model in the world of education. The research method used in this article is literature study which is supported by various sources, both in the form of previously published books and national journals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability to understand biographical texts for class X students of SMK N 1 Lumban Julu in the 2022/2023 academic year. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a two group post-test design. The sample in this study were students of class X RPL 1 which consisted of 30 students and students of class X RPL 2 with a total of 30 students. The data analysis technique used in this study is quantitative data by using analysis requirements test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the average score of the ability to understand biographical texts of the experimental class students was 84.2 belonging to the good category while the average value of the control class was 59.03 belonging to the sufficient category and did not meet the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), namely 75. Based on the t test, it was obtained a significance level value of α = 0.05 with dk = N-1 = 29, so that a ttable value of 2.045 was obtained. Thus it is concluded that tcount > ttable, namely 8.446 > 2.045 so that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This proves that there is a significant effect of using the Quick On the Draw learning model on the ability to understand biographical texts for class X students of SMK N 1 Lumbanjulu in the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

Abstract

Bukoba oral literature is one of the traditions that exist in Rambah Hilir, Rokan Hulu, Riau. The purpose of this research is to find out the cultural values as well as the moral message contained in the koba ratok lalageh anak rang rambah and timang anak. The method used is qualitative with data collection through observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study describe the culture contained in the koba ratok lalageh anak rang rambah which is to invite the community around to preserve this culture that has begun to disappear. Then the moral message contained in the koba timang anak is to do good wherever you are, so it will be easy to find friends and innocent people.

Abstract

As an effort to contribute to development in order to support sustainable development, it is necessary to have a good understanding of human resources and natural resources. One of them is by studying the relationship between humans and the environment, namely through ecoliteracy activities (literacy that studies humans and the environment) in schools which aim to equip students, so that students can have a good understanding of the environment. This study aims to describe ecoliteracy skills through environmental care activities at Cipanagon Elementary School, find out the inhibiting factors in the process of implementing ecoliteracy in schools, find out alternative solutions that teachers can do in implementing ecoliteracy in schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. Data collection techniques used are through observation techniques, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it was stated that the ecoliteracy skills of Cipanagon Elementary School students through environmental care activities, had a percentage of 65% included in the good category so that these ecoliteracy skills were well applied at school. This cannot be separated from the teachers' strategies in shaping student character, and supporting the implementation of these ecoliteracy skills.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze the implementation of blended learning in the subject of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) at SMAN 2 Sukabumi. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with PPKn teachers and students, observation of the learning process, and analysis of documents related to the implementation of blended learning at the school. The results show that the implementation of blended learning in PPKn at SMAN 2 Sukabumi has been meticulous and well-coordinated. PPKn teachers integrate various digital media and e-learning platforms to present learning materials and assignments. Interaction between teachers and students is enhanced through online discussion forums and video conference meetings. Blended learning provides flexibility for students, allowing them to access materials independently and learn at their own pace. However, challenges faced in the implementation include limited internet access in certain areas and adjustments for students new to online learning. This research offers valuable insights into blended learning in PPKn at SMAN 2 Sukabumi and provides implications and recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of blended learning in citizenship education. By leveraging technology and innovative teaching methods, blended learning can empower students to become more independent and engaged learners, even in challenging circumstances.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve civics learning outcomes and student activity through the PAMER learning model for fifth grade students at SDN No. 145 Bayowa Presidential Instruction, Takalar Regency. The research conducted was classroom action research (PTK). This research was conducted in two cycles which included four meetings. The subjects of this study were 21 students of class V SDN No 145 Bayowa Presidential Instruction, Takalar Regency, consisting of 11 boys and 10 girls. Data collection techniques are observation, test (evaluation), and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis.The results achieved quantitatively are (1) The application of the PAMER learning model in student activity, response and learning outcomes of class V SDN No 145 Inpres Bayowa Takalar Regency, namely an increase in student activity and courage in each cycle, where student activity in cycle I with an average score - average 49.3 in the less active category increased in cycle II to 88.1 in the very active category. Student responses in cycle I with an average of 66.1 categories responded to an increase in cycle II with an average of 80.9 categories of very responsive. (2) Improving PPKn learning outcomes and student learning activities in accordance with the results of observations during the class action process. The average score obtained by students after taking the final test from cycle I to cycle II after the learning model was applied increased from 59.3 in cycle I to 87.9 in cycle II. The completeness of learning PPKn for fifth grade students at SDN No. 145 Bayowa Presidential Instruction, Takalar Regency, has also increased. In cycle I, from 9 (42.8%) students to cycle II as many as 18 (85.7%) students achieved mastery learning and classical learning mastery reached 80%.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is whether there is an effect of the use of Quartet Card Learning Media on PPKn Learning Outcomes of Grade V Students of SD Negeri Mangasa 1. This study aims to determine the Effect of Using Quartet Card Learning Media on PPKn Learning Outcomes of Class V SD Negeri Students Mangasa 1. This type of research is an experimental research type of pre-experimental design with the form of a one group pretest-posttest design. The research procedure includes pretest, treatment, and posttest. The sample in this study were 26 students of Class V SD Negeri Mangasa 1. The results of this study indicate that the effect of the use of quartet card learning media on PPKn learning outcomes for fifth grade students of SD Negeri Mangasa 1 (Pre-test) shows that the number of students who have not reached the KKM is 26 students (overall) or 0% while students who have achieved KKM is 26 students (overall or 100% with an average value of 54.7. Therefore, the results of the influence of the use of quartet card learning media on PPKn learning outcomes for class V SD Negeri Mangasa 1 are still classified in the low category and not meets the classical completeness criteria.Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the Effect of Using Quartet Card Learning Media on PPKn Learning Outcomes of Class V SD Negeri Mangasa 1 has increased.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the values of mutual cooperation character found in the Adit and Sopo Jarwo animation as one of the media to be used in strengthening the national identity of elementary school students. The method used in this research is qualitative with content analysis method, and data collection techniques include literature study, documentation, and data analysis. Based on the results of the research conducted, it was found that in the Adit and Sopo Jarwo animated film, there are 7 values of mutual cooperation character, which are helping each other, appreciating teamwork, solidarity, commitment to collective decisions, empathy, anti-violence, and a voluntary attitude. These values of mutual cooperation character appear in 11 episodes of the Adit and Sopo Jarwo animation, namely in the episodes of the father's lost wallet, the father's wallet is still lost, Jarwo's theft, Adit wins, the confusing umbrella motorcycle taxi, Adit's flu, Jarwo's sadness, getting caught up in the antenna service, kite competition making everyone fly, Jarwo's surprise, Adel's whereabouts, patrol duties like courage tests, and visiting siblings making everyone feel honored. Furthermore, the Adit and Sopo Jarwo animation can be used as a learning tool in strengthening the national identity because this animation contains scenes that are in line with the development of mutual cooperation character as a way to strengthen the national identity.

Abstract

This research is motivated to reduce the boredom experienced by students when participating in the teaching and learning process of Pancasila and citizenship education in class. Students no longer only sit, stay silent and listen to stories from the teacher, but students can interact directly with learning media based on Autoplay Media Studio 8 because in this learning media in addition to learning materials, there are also animations, images, videos, sounds and flash so that they can build new interests, arouse motivation and stimulate student learning activities.

Abstract

Abstract. Tax is one of the state's incomes that has a large contribution to state finances compared to other state income. In the implementation of tax collection, it is not uncommon for there to be various kinds of disputes between the tax authorities and the public who are taxpayers, which are called tax disputes. Tax dispute resolution is resolved through a judicial institution called the Tax Court. However, currently the authority for guidance over the Tax Court is still carried out by the Ministry of Finance and the Supreme Court, even though the Tax Court is part of the judicial institution. This research uses a type of juridical-normative research which focuses on the use of secondary data. This type of research is a procedure for finding the truth based on the logic of legal science from a normative point of view. The results of this research found that after the Constitutional Court Decision Number 26/PUU-XXI/2023, the full authority to guide the Tax Court had to be transferred to the Supreme Court. It is recommended that the implementation of the transfer of guidance authority be carried out in stages as soon as possible in order to provide legal certainty regarding the long-standing overlap of authority between the executive and judicial powers towards the Tax Court which should be purely part of the judiciary. Keywords: government power, guidance, tax court Abstrak. Pajak merupakan salah satu income negara yang memiliki sumbangan besar terhadap keuangan negara dibandingkan dengan pendapatan negara lainnya. Dalam pelaksanaan penagihan pajak, tidak jarang terdapat berbagai macam perselisihan antara fiskus dengan masyarakat yang merupakan wajib pajak yang disebut dengan sengketa pajak. Penyelesaian sengketa pajak diselesaikan melalui sebuah institusi peradilan yang disebut Pengadilan Pajak. Namun saat ini kewenangan pembinaan atas Pengadilan Pajak masih dilakukan oleh Kementerian Keuangan dan Mahkamah Agung, padahal Pengadilan Pajak merupakan bagian dari lembaga yudikatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian yuridis-normatif yang menitikberatkan pada penggunaan data sekunder. Penelitian jenis ini adalah prosedur untuk menemukan kebenaran yang didasarkan pada logika keilmuan hukum dari sudut pandang normatif. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pasca Putusan MK Nomor 26/PUU-XXI/2023, maka kewenangan pembinaan Pengadilan Pajak sepenuhnya harus dialihkan ke Mahkamah Agung. Disarankan agar pelaksanaan peralihan kewenangan pembinaan tersebut dilaksanakan secara bertahap sesegera mungkin demi memberikan kepastian hukum terhadap tumpang tindih kewenangan yang sudah lama sekali terjadi antara kekuasaan eksekutif dan yudikatif terhadap Pengadilan Pajak yang seharusnya murni sebagai bagian dari yudikatif.
