Abstract

This research analyzes the influence of Crude Oil Price (COP) together with Crude Oil Price Volatility (COPV) and Crude Oil Production (COPR) on Nigerian economic performance through their impact on Real Gross Domestic Product (RGDP) and Gross National Product (GNP). The research utilizes FDI as a control parameter to measure how external investment affects the results. The study analyzes the long-term relationships between variables using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) Bounds Test for Cointegration and it assesses short-term patterns through the Error Correction Model (ECM). Economic data shows that crude oil price presents the strongest positive relationship with Nigerian economic growth which has substantial effects on RGDP (0.1809 p=0.0120) alongside GNP (0.8197 p=0.0066). Crude oil production shows minimal effects on national income and GNP (0.6446, p=0.3260) while price volatility produces just a weak impact on economic performance. The statistical tests establish that FDI has no significant impact on growth because foreign capital fails to generate sustainable development outcomes. Analysis of the error correction term reveals that economic shocks get corrected in 62.53% of cases for RGDP segments and 56.16% for GNP segments each year thus showing moderate adjustment speed. The research shows that Nigeria depends primarily on crude oil price changes rather than production quantity or price stability which emphasize the need for diversification. Policy recommendations include improved financial policies, enhanced production efficiency, and oil price stabilization programs

Abstract

This study aims to analyze economic inequality between districts/cities in Riau Province over the past decade. The focus of the study includes identifying intraregional disparity trends, determinants, impacts, and development equity policies evaluation. The methods used include Williamson Index Analysis, Theil Index, Regression Analysis, and Impulse Response Function (IRF). Williamson Index shows that inequality between Riau regions follows a convergence pattern with an inverted U-shaped curve tending, means inequality initially increases but then decreases over time. Bengkalis, Siak, Rohul, Inhil, and Meranti districts are the main contributors to inequality, Bengkalis and Siak contribute due to above-average, while Rohul, Inhil, and Meranti contribute due to low-average. Theil Index shows that from 2011-2014 inequality occurred between regions, but since 2015-2023 inequality dominant within a group of regions. Factors such as infrastructure access, topography, natural resource distribution, and government policies are found to be the main determinants of inequality. Regions with good infrastructure and low topography tend to be more developed, while high natural resource distribution exacerbates inequality in developed and average regions, reduces inequality in disadvantaged regions. Inequality has an impact on increasing poverty in developed and average regions, as well as decreasing health quality in disadvantaged regions. IRF analysis shows that the government's expansionary policy is quite effective in reducing inequality in Riau. The implications of the study provide recommendations to the government to prioritize equitable infrastructure development and effective expansionary policies to reduce inequality by considering topographic conditions and natural resource distribution in promoting equity throughout Riau.

Abstract

This study examines the mediating role of risk management in the relationship between financial technology (fintech) adoption and business growth in Indonesian Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). A quantitative approach was employed with a sample of 125 MSMEs, utilizing a 5-point Likert scale for survey data and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) for analysis. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between fintech adoption and risk management, as well as between risk management and business growth. Moreover, fintech adoption positively impacts business growth both directly and indirectly through the mediating effect of risk management. The findings highlight the importance of integrating fintech solutions with robust risk management frameworks to foster sustainable growth in MSMEs. Policy implications suggest that MSME owners, fintech providers, and policymakers should focus on enhancing risk management practices to maximize the benefits of fintech adoption.

Abstract

This bibliometric analysis investigates the expansive domains of circular economy (CE) and sustainable entrepreneurship, focusing on their evolution and interlinkage within academic literature from 2000 to 2025. By leveraging data from Scopus and employing VOSviewer for visual mapping, the study identifies core themes such as innovation, sustainable development, and business model innovation, highlighting their prevalence and evolution over time. The analysis underscores the centrality of CE and sustainable entrepreneurship in fostering environmental sustainability and economic growth. Key findings indicate a strong emphasis on eco-innovation and the integration of corporate social responsibility into competitive business strategies. Despite significant advancements, the research landscape exhibits gaps, particularly in addressing socio-economic barriers and the full integration of social aspects within CE practices. The study not only maps the current intellectual terrain but also suggests future research directions aimed at addressing these gaps and enhancing the practical application of CE principles across different economic contexts.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education has emerged as a crucial driver of innovation and business sustainability, equipping individuals with the necessary skills to navigate complex market environments while fostering responsible and sustainable business practices. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis using Scopus database and VOSviewer to map the evolution of research at the intersection of entrepreneurship education and business sustainability. The analysis identifies key research trends, influential authors, collaborative networks, and emerging thematic areas, providing insights into how scholarly discourse in this field has developed over time. The findings reveal that entrepreneurship education research has expanded from individual behavioral studies to encompass pedagogical advancements, sustainability integration, and digital transformation through artificial intelligence and big data applications. While the study highlights strong international collaborations, it also uncovers regional disparities and limited interdisciplinary research, suggesting the need for more cross-country comparative studies and integration of sustainability-focused educational models. This study contributes to the academic discourse by identifying research gaps and proposing future directions for enhancing entrepreneurship education’s role in sustainable business development.
